MO's Hut is the Real Deal Holyfield!!! They also are a Baller On The Budget Approved Establishment!!! I first encountered MO's back when they were located in Oakland at their Brick and Mortar location on Fruitvale at the Old Everett and Jones location !!! This is where I met the Owner Paul the Head Chef also !!!! The man can create Magic on a BBQ Grill!!! I used to get the Samoan Plate back then ! Fast forward years later I run into Paul and his Food Truck Mo 'S Hut at their Oakland Airport Location on Thursday Night!!! Big Paul is Cooking With his Bbq and his Family is manning the Food Truck!!! I always get the Hawaiian Bbq Plate!!! The Hawaiian Bbq Plate Consists of 2 Scoops of Rice A Scoop Of Macaroni Salad Teriyaki Beef Slice of Chicken And 2 Pieces of Beef Short Ribs Price $20 If you use a Credit Card Square charges a $2 processing fee!!! Portions are Generous !!! Flavors excellent!!!! For all of These Reasons MO's Hut is a Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!!!! First Review Of 2023 !!!! Black Elite 14 Grateful to be Alive!!! Baller On A Budget!!! And Bad Boy For Life!!!

Ordered from Mo's Hut right when I got to the Pacific Feats Festival and they did not disappoint!! Got the Mo's Special and the food was delicious & the customer service was wonderful. I'm pretty picky when it comes to sapa sui but Mo's Hut's was some of the best I've ever had and full of all the right flavors. Everything on the plate was delicious and I can't wait to try all of their other items during my next visit. If you haven't tried Polynesian food or are looking to satisfy your poly food craving, I definitely recommend coming here!! Comfort food straight from the heart foreal!!!

Hubby's friend works at Mo's Hut and he told us to come by on a Saturday to try out their food. We went this past Saturday and ordered their Hawaiian plate. We didn't get a chance to try it out there since we were pressed for time, but once I got home, I immediately took a bite of everything. My goodness! What can I say? Honestly words are hard to describe because there's just soo much flavor to it! It's not even overwhelming. I was savoring my plate because it was that good. Their Mac potato salad is drool worthy! I thought it was just potato salad until I saw the macaroni and man oh man, it just fits so perfectly with the plate! In Hubby's words, "it's A1!" We will most definitely be coming back for more! Supporting businesses like this is always the way to go! Make your way over to Mo's Hut, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

I've heard so much about this place and about a year ago took the leap to try them out. I've been going to them every chance I can get now! Their menu food items are amazingly delicious! I honestly have not had anything from them that I did not enjoy. EVERYTHING on their menu is out of this world! So if you're craving great, nostalgic island-style cuisine, Mo's Hut is the place to go currently located at the corner of Hesperian Blvd & Paseo Grande in San Lorenzo as of July 2022. Their plate portions are VERY generous! Love that they offer side portions of ALL of the menu items that come in the plates. Their palusami is the BEST I've ever had! Char Siu pork is tender and seasoned well as are their other meat entrees like the teriyaki chicken & beef. The green bananas cooked in coconut milk is a favorite for me but their baked taro is the best paired with the palusami. Their chop suey is flavored with just the right amount of ginger, I love it! And their two baked island desserts are a must-have, can't leave without getting some of the pineapple pies and the pāpā. What's even better about their food, tastes SO MUCH better warmed up the next day! (If it lasts that long in your home!)

Bbq chicken, kalbi rib, bbq beef, 2 scoops rice, mac salad.

This business catered an event, and was lucky enough to have a plate lunch, plus tried other items. DELICIOUS food, various grilled meat, corned beef, Mac salad, sapasui. We really enjoyed the generous portions. Better taste & quality than most local Hawaiian restaurants in the area. So good.

This place recently moved to my area in Hayward it is now located at the Ash and Locust Street corner in Hayward where the Portuguese club hall is. There's plenty of parking and everything seem very clean and tidy. There's even picnic tables to come sit at. My hamburger patty egg and gravy over rice plate was $10 and it's easily enough for two sensible people. Get one and split it

My family and I have visited Juanita's Polynesian Delights several times and we usually place large orders because we're buying food for our whole family. Unfortunately, every visit has left us feeling unwelcome. Whenever we order a larger amount of food, we're told not to order too much because food needs to be saved in case more customers arrive later. As a paying customer, it's frustrating to feel discouraged from ordering the amount of food we want. In my opinion, a restaurant should serve customers on a first-come, first-served basis. If demand is consistently high, I believe increasing food preparation would be a better solution than limiting what customers can buy. Another disappointing part of our experience has been the customer service. We've rarely been greeted with a smile or a friendly welcome. On one visit, the owner looked at us and said, "Oh, it's you guys?" That comment made us feel uncomfortable and as though our business wasn't appreciated. We left wondering what we had done wrong when all we've tried to do is support the restaurant. Personally, I also didn't find the food to be exceptional, but we continued going because we wanted to support a local Polynesian-owned business. Sadly, the customer service has made that difficult. Finally, during our visits, the restaurant did not appear as clean as I would expect. From what I personally observed, the floors, food warmers, refrigerator, tables and chairs could have been maintained better. I truly hope the owner takes customer feedback seriously because I believe every customer deserves to be treated with kindness, respect and appreciation. Based on my personal experiences, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

a chicken katsu that measures out to two meals, great deal alert!…read more so I have been here many times, tried the chicken katsu, hawaiian bbq chicken, aloha bbq chicken, and white island fish, which is about half the menu, and always great and always filling so a chicken katsu comes with two scoops of rice, one scoop of mac salad, a small bed of cabbage, some steamed brocolli, and three crispy and juicy pieces of chicken. There are two dipping sauces, a plum based katsu sauce, and a soy sauce hybrid. The katsu sauce has a little bit of heat, but mild enough that my SO whom normally does not eat any spicy, can handle it. Which ever combo or item you pick, it's outstanding. Because the items have a lot of food, I usually skip the appetizers. So for either lunch or dinner, you have two meals out of any items. Service is great, I usually order on the phone and pick it up, but ordering in person or online is fast, staff is great and friendly. the decor is simple and the place is very clean. A friend from school told us about the school, so I brought my daughter in for a trial class. She loved it so much we signed her up right away. Not too long after, I noticed that a lot of the parents are very involved with the group. Some of them dance, others play instruments and some help with costumes and events. A couple of the moms invited me to take a class, but I remember trying Tahitian in high school and never quite picked it up. However, the whole culture at the studio is like a family. Knowing that I could bring my kids, I decided to try it out because I needed some form of exercise. Never did I imagine I would be two years in and still loving it. I went from just dancing as exercise to being able to perform in front of people, which I have always been scared to do. The best part of the studio is all the people from the owners/teachers to the families involved. There are no egos or people trying to outdo one another. Everyone is uplifting, supportive and helpful. And just like the name suggests, it is more than a studio, it is a cultural arts center. We are not just taught dances. We are taught the language, the meaning of the songs we dance and even how to make our own costumes. Plus, you are able to participate as much as you like. If you don't want to perform, you are not forced to do so. They even have special classes where they teach you how to play different instruments. There are even fitness classes like Zumba. Of course, right now due to COVID things are different, and extra precautions need to be taken, so we do not have gatherings like prior. For starters we had originally made a reservation for 8:45 however the day before they called to inform us they'd be closing early due to a private event (9:30 instead of 11)and if we were willing to come in at 8 instead. This was not a bother at all for us. Well it was to our unfortunate surprise that we noticed that our waited started to hover and even brought us the check at about 8:40....we literally still had tons of our food to eat and drinks not even halfway done. He came to our table excessively trying to collect the check when we still had plenty of time to enjoy our meal and the music. Plenty of tables still had guests so it's not like we were the last ones. When he wasn't at our table he was standing nearby making eye contact with my husband trying to figure out if we were ready to pay out. Completely ruined our otherwise really nice evening.
