Mo's Special: Rice, Sapa sui, Fa'alifu fa'i, corned beef and teriyaki chicken

Ordered from Mo's Hut right when I got to the Pacific Feats Festival and they did not disappoint!! Got the Mo's Special and the food was delicious & the customer service was wonderful. I'm pretty picky when it comes to sapa sui but Mo's Hut's was some of the best I've ever had and full of all the right flavors. Everything on the plate was delicious and I can't wait to try all of their other items during my next visit. If you haven't tried Polynesian food or are looking to satisfy your poly food craving, I definitely recommend coming here!! Comfort food straight from the heart foreal!!!

Hubby's friend works at Mo's Hut and he told us to come by on a Saturday to try out their food. We went this past Saturday and ordered their Hawaiian plate. We didn't get a chance to try it out there since we were pressed for time, but once I got home, I immediately took a bite of everything. My goodness! What can I say? Honestly words are hard to describe because there's just soo much flavor to it! It's not even overwhelming. I was savoring my plate because it was that good. Their Mac potato salad is drool worthy! I thought it was just potato salad until I saw the macaroni and man oh man, it just fits so perfectly with the plate! In Hubby's words, "it's A1!" We will most definitely be coming back for more! Supporting businesses like this is always the way to go! Make your way over to Mo's Hut, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

I've heard so much about this place and about a year ago took the leap to try them out. I've been going to them every chance I can get now! Their menu food items are amazingly delicious! I honestly have not had anything from them that I did not enjoy. EVERYTHING on their menu is out of this world! So if you're craving great, nostalgic island-style cuisine, Mo's Hut is the place to go currently located at the corner of Hesperian Blvd & Paseo Grande in San Lorenzo as of July 2022. Their plate portions are VERY generous! Love that they offer side portions of ALL of the menu items that come in the plates. Their palusami is the BEST I've ever had! Char Siu pork is tender and seasoned well as are their other meat entrees like the teriyaki chicken & beef. The green bananas cooked in coconut milk is a favorite for me but their baked taro is the best paired with the palusami. Their chop suey is flavored with just the right amount of ginger, I love it! And their two baked island desserts are a must-have, can't leave without getting some of the pineapple pies and the pāpā. What's even better about their food, tastes SO MUCH better warmed up the next day! (If it lasts that long in your home!)

This business catered an event, and was lucky enough to have a plate lunch, plus tried other items. DELICIOUS food, various grilled meat, corned beef, Mac salad, sapasui. We really enjoyed the generous portions. Better taste & quality than most local Hawaiian restaurants in the area. So good.

This place recently moved to my area in Hayward it is now located at the Ash and Locust Street corner in Hayward where the Portuguese club hall is. There's plenty of parking and everything seem very clean and tidy. There's even picnic tables to come sit at. My hamburger patty egg and gravy over rice plate was $10 and it's easily enough for two sensible people. Get one and split it

Desserts: *Blueberry Ube Cheesecake *Pistachio Ricotta Cake *Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Cake with Biscoff Cookie Butter *Red Velvet Cheesecake Cup Nile just baked the Dubai cake and mentioned she would have a slice for herself that night. It was sweet and decadent for sure. Definitely perfect for sharing! I loved the blueberry ube cheesecake and so did Mom! I was looking for my leftovers and they disappeared from the fridge. Creamy and slightly fruity with that thick buttery crust-- amazing! Pistachio Ricotta cake was light and moist. Perfect when you want something delicately sweetened for tea time. Red Velvet cheesecake cup was just ok for me due to the cheesecake frosting. I think I would've preferred a whole slice of cake instead. If you want to pay with cash, you have to wait a very long time. Today, my friend and I were excited to go to T's and order something they had posted on Instagram. I wanted to pay with cash, so I waited patiently because there were a lot of people waiting. While I was waiting, I kindly asked one of the employees if I could pay with cash. She told me, "No, there is a machine right there." I replied, "But I want to pay with cash." She looked at me, walked away, and proceeded to help other customers who were also paying with cash and picking up orders. I then asked another employee, and she helped me right away, even though she was multitasking. I finished placing my order on the tablet, but neither employee helped me complete the checkout process. I waited again, and although they saw my friend and me standing there, no one offered assistance. I asked one of the employees for the name of the older blonde haired employee, and she told me it was Angie. T's, please consider having a dedicated cashier at the front instead of having employees in the back juggle several different jobs. The service used to be so good. There was usually a manager or another employee helping customers at the front. Now, it seems like everyone is stretched too thin. What is going on? T's was never like this. The food is great, but the customer service needs serious improvement.

Was so glad that she was able to open up her own bakery/cafe to feature these and additional Asian-inspired desserts for the Bay Area to try! MACARONS. I've been a fan of these Macarons for years, and what first drew me in was their adorable themed designs for holidays and special occasions like Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. While their character macarons and classic rounds are super cute, what keeps me coming back is that they actually taste amazing. There's nothing worse than biting into a beautiful macaron only to find it's dry, but that's definitely not the case here. Their macarons are consistently moist, flavorful, and fresh, with the perfect texture every time. It's the best of both worlds--beautiful designs that are almost too cute to eat and quality that lives up to the hype! JAPANESE SOUFFLE CHEESECAKE. My first Japanese soufflé cheesecake experience was from a commercial chain, and while it was light and fluffy, it doesn't compare to Always Yours Bakery Cafe. Their cheesecakes are THIQ in the best way possible--rich, dense, creamy, and still have that perfect jiggle. My absolute favorite flavor is the Ube! Ever since discovering them, I'd much rather order a whole cheesecake from here than pick up a standard birthday cake from the grocery store. It's always a crowd-pleaser! DRINKS. I'm def a matcha gworrrrl so I had to try as many flavors as I could! They have pistachio, banana cream, strawberry, and creme brûlée. What really stole my heart was the Earl Grey Creme Brûlée Milk Tea! "Creamy earl grey tea with your choice of milk, topped with our housemade salted cheese cream, torched sugar, and creme brûlée pudding." It's def a unique combo I haven't came across any other milk tea shop yet til here, and given that it's a bakery, I figured their creme brûlée would be amazing--and it FASHO IS! I recommend it with oatmilk and less sweetness to help balance all the flavors. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- The staff is always so friendly and accommodating, and you can tell they truly care about their customers and the quality of what they serve. Making it a bit cramp when you're trying to stand in line, look at what's available, and order at the same time. Parking here is hard to get to as well, the lot is super small and fits only one car at a time. If you happen to land a spot here your best bet is to reverse all the way out because a three point turn will turn into a multipoint turn quickly. My suggestion is to park in the lot in the plaza next door and walk over. As for the baked goods the Spicy Lemongrass Chicken Croissant is phenomenal and the Strawberry Moon is a classic. The flavor profiles here lean Asian with many call backs to flavors such as ube and passionfruit. They also seem to change their menu often too so keep an eye out on the newer items as you visit. In terms of aesthetics of the pastries you can see the love in the folds of each one. The strawberry moon croissant is a good example of this because the amount of ridges in the croissant shows how many times it was folded while making it.
