Cool vintage vibes , good food and comfortable seating
    Gandalf W.

People come people go in this old vintage, one of a kind diner. The ladies worked so hard in the kitchen, preparing fresh hot food for everyone.. This piece of Hayward history sits in an industrial area, which gives it even cooler vibes. They have breakfast food, lunch, and some Korean dishes also offered. If you like, old-school places with an impressive menu and good food give this place a try you will be glad you did. Bon appétit

Like a 1 minute walk from T & R Lighting on the corner of American Ave and Clawiter in the Industrial warehouse part of Hayward. This is the only place to eat in the immediate area besides Jack in the Box, then there is Southland Mall area. The place is very clean and is run by a family. Top notch customers service , they greet you , don't ever rush you and explain the menu very well. They've even have to go snacks and beverages . Lots of the cliente is construction workers, nearby worker etc. Versatile from burritos to burgers to French toast. I overheard him say no tacos which is not that big of a deal. I ordered a strawberry shake and it was disappointing for $4.99. Place is perfect time killer and belly stuffer if your hungry and getting work on your vehicle nearby. I ordered the Denver omelette not the best I've ever had but it did the job.

I come here at least twice a month to get me a teriyaki beef sandwich for breakfast.. please don't judge me lol. I have never been disappointed coming here . The customer service is always amazing and the food is even better . My food is always nice and hot, especially my French fries . I am definitely a loyal customer.

Came here on a late Saturday morning for the breakfast burrito. I was very happy and satisfied with the big burrito! It's definitely a divey spot and seems like it's more of a pick-up and go spot but we ordered a coffee, bought a slice of the cheesecake they had and ate our burrito there. The people were very friendly and even made us a fresh batch of coffee for us to have. The space was clean and spacious for eating on-site. It's an order at the counter and find your seat type of place. The food was tasty, even the non-fancy cheesecake that they had. It was perfect. It was a very nostalgic type of cheesecake that you would get from school sales. Would I go back? Definitely, when I'm in the area.

I had to come over and get some tires across the street and got hungry. Saw a burger road never been there before upon my arrival. I was welcome into the store by Mark behind the counter a very friendly gentleman. He said they're known for their breakfast burritos, but it was the afternoon so I was looking for a cheeseburger. I ended up getting the double cheeseburger half pound with bacon. It was cooked to perfection. Super delicious came with fries. I also bought a soda everything for under $20. What a deal especially in 2026 incredible service food brought to my table asked if I needed anything extra checked on me several times I would recommend this place to anybody that's hungry and in the neighborhood.

Burger road just makes you feel hella nostalgic because it's just a restaurant that's bare bones. You walk in and it's no frills, just tables and a counter. You can tell it's an establishment for the people in the area. The woman is kind and quick with ordering and conversation. She's a pleasant person. The menu is pretty diverse, but the name is burger road so I decided to get one. I got a number 2, which is just a cheeseburger combo meal. Others were ordering the korean food or the soups. Honestly, they look hella good also. Small places like these are the best because the small crew deliver all the time. Also the food did taste hella good.

bacon breakfast burrito and club sandwich

I was searching for breakfast burritos in Hayward and decided to give this place a go. It was definitely the right choice! I got the bacon breakfast burrito and the club sandwich. Both were delicious and it's got me wanting to come back to try other items on the menu. The owner's son was working the register and he was very kind.

    kimchi fried rice, $12.99

We came here this morning, party of 2 around 11am. Our order: breakfast burrito with avocado, kimchi fried rice, a bottled ito en green tea and a coffee. Total for order ~$33. Pros: - Very fun menu with lots of options, despite the confusing marketing for a place called Burger Road with a hamburger logo. Mix of breakfast food, Korean comfort food, with a sprinkle of Mexican options like quesadillas. Front of house is a Korean lady who could be literally my friend's grandma. - LOTS OF QUANTITY - I can see why blue collar workers love coming here to pick up lunch. My Kimchi fried rice was HUGE and the breakfast burritos are super filling too. I ended up taking a fourth of my meal home to eat again later. I felt like it was worth my $13 for the fried rice. - Pretty delicious! I liked that the kimchi fried rice was a tad spicier than places like Leisure cafe, felt really authentic. My husband says his breakfast burrito was the perfect ratio of ingredients and the potatoes weren't dry. - Easy parking lot Cons: - no free water available, which is why I had to buy a bottle of green tea to drink with my fried rice. I would recommend bringing your own water here next time to save some money. - No toilet paper in the bathroom. Was disappointing since I was a paying customer who wanted to poop. Was glad I noticed before sitting down. Overall, 1 star knocked off just because of the 2 cons. but otherwise I can't wait to come back, since the food was delicious!

Small restaurant here on the corner of Industrial Rd and American Ave. in Hayward. They serve Korean,American and also make good burritos. I get the chorizo, egg, bean ,potato burrito with their hot sauce which I think is made with chile de árbol. Delicious and feeling!Restaurant is very clean and and two owners very nice. Open early during the week and 8:30am on Saturdays. Suggest if you come here for breakfast arrive when they open because it is a popular spot.

Burger Road is a hidden gem. It's a small restaurant hidden in a warehouse/industrial area of Hayward. If you're not working or living around here, you'd prob never know it's there. (Unless you're searching on Yelp, of course) They've got quite an extensive menu offering all sorts of breakfast dishes to Korean lunch plates, burgers, and burritos. Most of the time when I've seen restaurants that offer so many cuisines, I'm hesitant. I can't speak on their lunch plates (yet) so this'll just be about their breakfast burritos. ...which are amazing! For $9, you get a STUFFED burrito that could probably even get you a little left over for lunch. It comes with eggs, potatoes, and your meat of choice. I went with bacon and it added the perfect crispy crunch and of course it tasted great (bacon, duh). I also added the hot sauce inside which wasn't too hot but added a nice kick. You can order ahead for pick up. I just stopped in and ordered and didn't have to wait too long - maybe 10 minutes. Super easy and quick service! Like I said, lots on the menu so I'll definitely be back to try the other items! Next time - lunch!

Tom Yum Crab Omelette- the best one to get since it has creamy tom yum sauce, a soft omelette, drizzled with a slice of lime, and crab meat with a few mushroom slices on top of fluffy rice. Khao Hom Waffle- coconut pandan waffle with fruits and syrup on the side. I wish they replaced the syrup with coconut milk syrup for better flavor and used no coconut shreds as a topping. Ube Pancake (side order)- one thick ube pancake that turned out dry when eaten with syrup. Never order anything that is not Thai on the menu. They should add Thai Tea pancakes to their menu with housemade Thai Tea syrup to make it more fusion. Pad Kee Mao w/ Chicken- I regret ordering this because the string beans were half raw, the tofu was dry, and the dish was a bit spicy. I should've ordered Pad Thai or Ka-Pow Short Rib Benedict instead. Thai Tea- strong and sweet, not too watery. It was less crowded when we arrived at 10 am on the weekend. The waitresses were fast and efficient, and the restaurant was nice and spacious.
