The Shoppes of Monterra Commons is a new mixed use development owned by Diversified Realty Development Company, which is based in Deerfield Beach. Construction began in December 2021 and it looks like they just need to lease a few retail spaces. This development includes over 100,000 square feet of new buildings over 16 acres of land with 700 parking spaces. The development cost over $10 million to complete. In addition to the stores and restaurants, the Shoppes of Monterra also includes a brand new 175-unit Residential Active Adult Community. Current Monterra Commons tenants include a Brightstar Credit Union, Baseball Cards, Culver's, Huey Magoo's, the Learning Experience, First Watch, Crunch Fitness, Oaxaka, and Cali Coffee. Coming soon is Tide Laundry, Gyromama, and Playa Bowls. There is currently empty leasing space for other businesses. I tried out the Cali Coffee and Blueprint Cookies and loved both. I was surprised to see how busy it was here so it is clearly filling a need in the community. It is interesting to see new development come to what I considered a dead end area of Cooper City. It was only a matter of time before this last large parcel of Broward County was developed. Hopefully Cooper City residents are going to like what they put in.

The mall is well maintained and most stores are occupied. If you are looking for a certain thing I'm sure you will find it here. The food court was busy however the mall traffic was slow. Could be due to the economy.

My biggest complaint, however, is that many stores have changed. I know it's to be expected after all this time & how things are nowadays but it's unfortunate to see such a fall from grace. On the bright side, if you're looking for a good ol mall staple, you'll probably find it here. Hot Topic, Spencer's, Macy's, Tilly's, Zumiez & JCPenney are just some of the shops inside. There's also a Crocs, Foot Locker & Lids. Overall, I like the store variety because a lot of them run good deals. When talking about the mall, Auntie Anne's is a must mention. It's almost impossible to visit without stopping by. The scent of their freshly baked pretzels wafts throughout so it's too hard to resist. Who doesn't love a warm cinnamon sugar pretzel? The layout is very straightforward so you'll be able to find any store you're looking for on the 1st visit. There's more than enough parking space surrounding it & a multi floor garage on one end. While this mall isn't what it used to be, it still holds a special place in my heart. I'm also a frequent visitor because it's close to where I live. You really can't go wrong with a trip to this mall.

Super chill and helpful staff including the owner, Deena. The wife was in here a couple days ago and bought three items. They offer a simple exchange or store credit. So, today, I brought one of the wife's recently purchased items back to the boutique for a store credit with the employee, Francheska, who made the process quick and painless. They are always getting new merch in every week for the wife to shop and buy again. Strong 5 star review...

From the moment I walked in, I didn't know where to begin browsing because everything caught my eye: There were tables full of the most perfect everyday tank tops, bodysuits, skorts and shorts and lots of racks filled with truly unique and beautiful dresses, blazers, pants, jeans and more. I absolutely loved everything. Then, in walked the lovely owner (Deena), who could not have been more friendly and helpful. She introduced herself and immediately started suggesting items that would work well for me. I felt like I was shopping with a girlfriend. I tried everything on and purchased most of what I selected. As I approached the register, I found even more great items on the shelves such as beautiful jewelry and hair clips. I grabbed the cutest claw clip to add to my pile. I can't wait to take my daughter back to shop. It's hard to find great clothing boutiques nearby, so I'm thrilled to have discovered G. Marie Boutique, and it will most definitely be my new go-to destination for that special something to wear.

Filled with restaurants, a grocery store, a gas station, a clothing store & a variety of other shops, they pretty much got everything covered. Although it sure gets busy during peak travel hours, the shopping center itself is sizable enough to accommodate pretty large crowds. Being a resident of CC, I frequent here a lot. I'm glad to say there's a couple stores in here that have been my go-to for years. Publix is always a great option when I need groceries, cheap (but beautiful) flowers, a delicious sub or pretty much anything else. They're clean, customer service is solid & pricing is always fair. I also love the bakery that's moved in recently: A Family. They have some of the best empanadas around & serve delicious coffee. The Melting Pot is pretty much a staple of Countryside at this point because of how long it's been there. For as long as I can remember, they've been serving up mouth watering fondues from that same location. Much like any shopping center, there's stores that unfortunately come & go. While it's not too common of an issue, it's definitely something that happens. There's a good handful of stores that've been here for 10+ years, however, so it's probably safe to say those won't be going anywhere soon. It's pretty hard to miss if you've passed by the area but if you haven't heard of Countryside Shops then I'd say it's worth checking them out. You'll be surprised to see just how many good stores are within.
