In the first trial session, I already knew Kenny was different. We discussed goals of course, but we also went over breathing techniques, stretches for some major problems and basic stability exercises - and he built from there. With long time knee problems, life long ankle instability and years of working at a desk had me all sorts of messed up, so I was quite nervous. I have had hip issues going back to high school. I have been an athlete pretty much my whole life and now play recreational sports such as soccer, baseball ect. I was so banged up from my shoulders to my knees, 8 years of roller derby can put a toll on your body. Where do I start, and what can I say?? A little over a month ago I made the choice to start training with Kenny, and my life changed for the better that day! I was looking to train so I can get back into shape, and feel better. I started training with Kenny late December 2018 and it is by far the best investment I've made in myself. Even though I've had athletic people around me my whole life I have never felt comfortable working out with anyone or even just with myself because a gym seems so overwhelming. Over the past 5 years I have trained with Kenny. Unfortunately during those 5 years there were gaps where I couldn't train with Kenny because of going away for school or Having multiple surgeries for freak accidents that occurred.
