The restaurant doesn't have parking, though there's some street parking on Main St. & the adjacent streets. It was a rainy day & I didn't want to park too far away. Luckily, First Street Parking Structure sits just behind the restaurant, off 1st & Main Sts., though we entered from Garfield Ave. The free parking structure offers 4 hours of parking from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, & it's not gated or guarded so not sure what happens if you extend the time limit or park before/after business hours. There's other signage that says parking is for business patrons only, all others will be towed & to call (626) 570-5168 for towed cars. I didn't bother waiting for spaces to open up, & went straight to the roof for parking since it was during lunch rush. It was about 1/2 full on that last stretch. I think there's 4 levels of parking? The sky was dark & gloomy, yet the structure wasn't well-lit; other reviewers cautioned safety concerns due to theft, lack of lighting, & loitering. I'm glad my car was still in one piece when I was done with lunch. Whew! There's a pocket garden just north of the structure, but I'm not sure if it's a part of First Street Parking Structure. It has a couple of benches, a couple of citrus trees (possibly lemon or orange?), & a short walkway. The structure is in a prime location surrounded by a dozen plus restaurants & other businesses, so it's convenient but concerning since it's not that visible with foot traffic & may pose safety issues. I might try for the surrounding area for the 2-hr. street parking when the weather's better.

De Lacey Garage is 1 of 3 "Park & Walk" city-owned garages that offers the cheapest rates in the area; Schoolhouse Garage (33 E. Green St.) & Marriott Garage (48 N. Raymond Ave.) are the other 2 sister garages. Both De Lacey & Schoolhouse (1 block east) Garages are more centrally located in Old Town, whereas Marriott Garage is at the edge across from Memorial Park. Rates (as of April 2026): $1: 1st 2 hours $2/hour thereafter $12 daily maximum Or if you truly don't want to pay, you could walk a few blocks west & park at Ralph's (320 W. Colorado Blvd.); however, I'm not sure how vigilant the supermarket is about towing if you're not a customer. When I was a student at Pasadena City College, there was free street parking & limited free time in parking garages in Old Town Pasadena. Since 07/2022, the longstanding 1st 90 minutes of free parking in city-owned parking garages were eliminated & a new policy was implemented to $1 for the 1st 2-hours to fund maintenance & repairs. I was in the area for a Yelp event & wasn't sure if I can find free parking nearby & with my time constraints to return in time for my daughter's swim meet, it was easier to use a parking garage. Luckily, De Lacey Garage is just around the corner of Lather so it was perfect! When I returned to my car, I had a hard time spotting the payment kiosk(s) since there's notices that state you need to pay first before attempting to exit. There was no kiosk by the stairs & elevator, which would be a sensible location to place a kiosk since it's an exit point. I looked at both ends & didn't see one, so I drove to the exit & paid there. It wasn't until I checked the reviews that there's only 1 payment kiosk & it's located at the ground level. If you're planning to dine or shop in Old Town Pasadena, I recommend parking here at De Lacey Garage or Schoolhouse Garage; they're centrally located & cheaper than metered parking.

Universal Bank is also here, but it is not as prominent. Mr. Baguette is in a building on the street... and so is Jim's Bakery... Another building (yes - there are several buildings here) at this mall houses NutriShop, SW Merchant, and MPJ Nail Spa. I actually parked under this building. Because... Even though there's free shared parking... when it's full, look for the Additional Underground Parking. Some of the spaces at the Underground Parking are covered! Enjoy!

The restaurant is still here and probably took over most of the small stores for their space. There's a boba shop, a gym, bakery, and a few other businesses here. Remodeling this plaza, not a mall, really looks good. Fixed all the parking spaces with clear lines. Not like anyone knows how to park but helps to know where my space starts and stops.

Second, the…read moreGold Line is no more, and this station is now the eastern terminus of the E Line (it was formerly the the southeast terminus of the Gold Line and then the eastern terminus of the southern half of the severed Gold Line)--new experience and all. PARKING STRUCTURE It used to be free on weekends, but it no longer is. That's kind of annoying, but $3 for three hours is pretty good. There are plenty of parking spaces. You can use the Metro app to pay for parking, or you can use the machine on the first level. If you use the machine, you'll need your license-plate number, so either memorize it or take a photo of it before you go downstairs. There's only one pay station. I believe parking is free from four a.m. to eleven a.m., but I may just be misreading things. You would end up paying way more for parking (and gas) if you drove to your final destination, so don't complain about a dollar an hour. Unfortunately, there's only one entrance to the parking structure, and you have to be heading southbound on South Atlantic Boulevard to enter, so even though the address of the station itself and its platform are technically on Pomona Boulevard, you'll need to approach on Atlantic from the north to park. Trust your GPS in this one case. The elevator is Peesville, USA, so don't use it if you don't need to, and don't touch anything with your bare hands. E LINE If you want to go from East L.A. to Santa Monica for $1.75 (or $0.35 if you're a senior outside of rush hour), this is your stop! I've yet to make that entire trip, but I've now traveled to two Notre Dame-USC games from here. The first time, it was to Jefferson/USC Station to see the Notre Dame women dominate the No. 3 Women of Troy at the Galen Center. The second time, a week later, to Expo Park/USC Station to see the Notre Dame football team punch its College Football Playoff ticket against a defenseless Trojan defense. Atlantic was our starting and returning point on both occasions, and it still scores three stars as a station. They need more fare machines. At the eastern (parking-structure) end of the platform, there are only two. Because the machines are so complicated, this is nowhere near enough, especially at the beginning/end of a line. My other complaint is that the distance from the eastern end of the platform to the parking structure is ridiculously long. I never noticed this before, but then I had never ridden the train with someone who couldn't easily walk long distances before. When the E Line gets extended farther east (all the way to Whittier!), they're actually going to rebuild the platform southeast of where it now sits. I hope they take walking distance from parking to the new platform(s) into account.

Transit riders can also pay via an app. I suppose it is a changing of the times. An extra $2 plus $1.75 in one way fare is still reasonable enough to avoid the headache of driving and parking in downtown.
