    Lots of vacant stores!
    Jef H.

It's pretty empty now, the shops used to have lots of customers, and there were good places to eat. Now pretty much deserted, so I took my skateboard to look around. It's sad to see the place decline. The stores and restaurants along Atlantic Blvd seem to have customers. The 24 fitness is active. As I was returning to my car, I skated in the parking lot, a downhill. A security guard approached me on foot, so I left.

It was our first time here...I can see this place could have been a 5 star place at one time...They still have some restaurants left here, that which is great. I gave it 2 stars because most of the stores are closed down, there were hardly any businesses left which is why it's so sad. They do have Daiso. Actually I couldn't decide between giving 2 or 3 stars because there are still some restaurants left. They do have AMC theater and I do love the free garage parking. But that is it. Plus I'm not sure how good the food are at the other restaurants. I posted a picture of their directory, so you can see what is left. Oh they do have 24 hours Fitness.

Sad sad sad.... Atlantic Times Square as the name shows was supposed to be a bustling area when it opened over 10 years ago... Now it's depleted and outdated for SGV area, empty parking lot and empty business... Courtyard Marriott opened across from it hopefully it doesn't affect them since there aren't many amenities nearby like on Valley Blvd... What happened here???? It's a shame actually.... My buddy asked me to meet him here and I haven't been here for awhile... Damn is all I can say!!!! This area sucks now and upscale condos with junk on the outside area that faces where people walk...HOA shouldn't allow that!!!!! Not sure what can turn this area around????

We come by here once in awhile and it doesn't take long for us to find parking in the underground garage. The reason I give it three stars is the dull and drab atmosphere of walking around this place. The area is kept clean and it feels very safe here but it just doesn't have a pleasant feeling to it. We come to see movies here and eat at the few good restaurants in the area.

I like this mall! (Isn't its name funny?!) It has a little bit of everything! From dim sum, to 24 Hour Fitness, and Daiso... to Phoenix, Tasty Garden, and a movie theater! The free parking is a bonus, as well as the beautiful landscaping and the awesome fountain and jumbotron! I'm sure we will return! P.S. It's located in Monterey Park in Los Angeles...not New York!

They opened a Kokio Chicken here!! Where PapaRich used to be

This is one of the largest if not the largest shopping center in SGV unless I've missed an even much larger one. Tons of free parking. They have underground parking, too. There is a Tesla charging station area. Just be careful when entering on the side where the Tesla stations are located because it gets really crowded and tight over there. There are 4 floors of businesses. First and second floors are where you'll find most of the restaurants and food/drink shops. Fifth floor only has the Five Star restaurant. Non-food businesses are everywhere else. There are elevators to get to the 2nd floor and upward. Oddly enough, I really don't frequently visit this shopping center, but I have been here primarily for Wushiland Boba, sometimes for 99 Ranch, other times for Vege Valley in the past (they have moved to a new location), and a few times for Five Star restaurant. I was here last weekend for Wushiland of course. I saw a COMING SOON sign with the below biz(es). I may be coming here more often with all the new food/drink joints arriving soon LOL. (Skip to the last paragraph cause I'm rambling about my childhood lol)…read more Formerly San Gabriel Square, now renamed to TAWA Gateway, I have 20+ years of memories here since I grew up coming here a lot. Here's some really random memories I remember: running around the entire plaza playing hide and seek with my dad, getting so lost as a child that 99 Ranch made a store announcement looking for my mom, playing around the fountain areas with my dad, shopping with my mom in the indoor 3 floors where there was full of vendors, getting affordable Chinese Togo from Sam Woo(gone now from this plaza), late night dinner and dim sum at the Five Star Seafood restaurant(still do to this day), hanging out with with friends during my teenage/college years at Boba 8090(now going to be a Cha Redefine soon), going through nightmare parking situations when the plaza was super busy, parking super far at night then walking back to my car realizing someone started a random car meet in that part of the lot, getting stuck behind traffic by Teslas trying to get in the Tesla charging stations, the time I got in the underground parking with a pick-up truck(don't recommend lol), the one stairs that always smelled like urine, and many more random memories here. In the more recent years the plaza has been getting more empty with stores but still always lots of people come for the 99 Ranch and restaurants even during the construction and remodeling. They took out all the fountains and looks like now going to be artificial turf for people to lounge on chairs now and they did lots of repainting and repaving the parking lot. Now they are finally getting more businesses opening up like Marugame Udon and Cha Redefine. Excited to see this new chapter for this shopping center! (I will update my review again after more stores fill up this place again.)
