I dropped my Troy Bilt riding mower off at Mosley's for a few weeks. Had to call them 2 days in a row for an update on the status of the repair. I was told my mower need a cam in the engine and was not worth fixing, so I decided to pick it up and pay them $40 for nothing. When I got home, checked my mower to find out the technician had taken the voltage regulator off and was still at the shop. I called Mosley's and went back and picked it up with no problem. I took my mower to a different mechanic, he changed the started, put the voltage regulator back on and I had the oil changed with a new filter, so the mower is running perfect now with no issues. read more

I dropped off my mower because the hydrostatic transmission was not working. I get a call a few days later saying it was a simple fix. "Great" I say, "since you have it there, let's do some service on it, oil change, replace the belt since it's loose, and address any issues that you may see, I would like to cap the work at around $100". They told me that was fine and that it might be $120, no big deal. I get a call a few days later, the mower is ready and "operating perfect". Show up a couple of days later to pick it up, and the bill is now $173. Not happy, but I don't say anything because $50 isn't a big deal, and the mower is running fine when I put it on the trailer. I drive 10 minutes home, pull it off the trailer, and decide to cut grass really quick. Go to engage blades for the first time (didn't try it at the shop, just cranked it up), and nothing ... the belts are looser than when I dropped it off, and they are definitely not new. No problem I think, I'm irritated, but they seem like an upstanding company and will make it right so I leave a voice message. They call me back the next day (today), and I let them know someone will need to pick up my mower and fix it, since I already paid for the service that they didn't deliver on. Nope ... $50 for them to come pick it up. So to recap, this company charged me to fix my mower, told me it was "running great", over charged me from what I was quoted, and didn't even check/fix a key component for operating a lawn mower .... the damn belts. Great business model. I would set the mower on fire and go buy a new one from a competitor before I even considered paying $50 for someone to pick up my mower and fix an issue that I've already paid for. It has nothing to do with money, and everything to do with being honest, trust worthy, and not being a piece of garbage, which is the description I would use for Moseley's. *edited to say, I dare someone from Moseley's to try to defend this ... read more

Every time I have been in there they have gone beyond to help me. They fix, repair, and maintain all of my equipment. Yearly maintenance, not just when I destroy something. They are super busy with commercial businesses yet make time for me, a private individual. My little bit of business to them seems, in my opinion, just as important as a commercial account. As a small business owner, this means something to me. I am treated fairly and respectfully. My equipment is returned promptly and in excellent condition. More small businesses and large businesses would do better if they acted like these people. read more

Go somewhere else! They make repairs without authorization, charge you, and then you get the product home and it still doesn't work. Pretty shady is you ask me!!!! read more
