Based on that wording, I expected a full tune-up service -- but the only work actually performed was: * replacement of 6 spark plugs * adding a bottle of fuel-injector cleaner No coils were replaced and no injectors were removed or serviced. The invoice shows $590.65 in labor under a vague "tune-up" line item, with no hourly rate and no labor hours listed. On a previous invoice from this same shop, their labor rate was clearly listed as $120/hour, and the amount billed on this job does not reasonably add up based on the limited work performed. After checking labor guides and comparison pricing, this charge appears well above normal independent-shop rates, especially given that the "tune-up" label did not reflect a full tune-up. I paid the invoice, but I will not return -- and I strongly recommend asking for: * a written itemized estimate * labor hours + hourly rate in writing * clarification of what they mean by "tune-up" before approving work

Made an appointment and dropped off truck first thing. They called before lunch to advise what needed to be done to the brakes after they inspected them and to verify my intentions. Called back around 2pm to advise truck was ready. Cost was about $250 LESS than quoted. Excellent service, price and timeliness. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would have taken my truck to the local GMC dealership I bought my truck from and where I have been a loyal customer for 20 years but I am tired of having to haggle just to feel like I am supposed to be grateful for the discount they give me when the out the door price is 2 to 3 times more than I can get repairs done elsewhere by an equally qualified mechanic. The Wheel Country technician diagnosed the problem in the rain, removed the nail in the rain, and when I asked what I owe, he said don't worry about it, have a nice day! Brought my Silverado in to have old set of wheels and tires exchanged with new wheels and tires…read more Estimated 1 hour wait turned into almost 2 hours. Technician installed new wheels and tires with wrong lug nuts and wrong center caps. Double checked with technician before he started work on it, and re-verified which color lug nuts and center caps were to be installed. Still did it wrong. Unfortunate that something so simple didn't seem to warrant accuracy or double checking.

I do get my oil changed every 3000 miles when warranty requires 5000 because I do take care of my truck, too expensive not too. Well they said they would "misread" my mileage so it would keep my warranty valid. I dropped by on Monday to make sure my truck would be services on Friday as it was when they could schedule me in, they did not tell me they would accommodate my request then or at our first conversation either. Picked it up on Friday and the counter guy said he could not change the milage because it was wrong to do so. But lying to me that he would is quite acceptable in his mind apparently. The owner came over and started telling me about its a battle repeatedly until I told him we are not in a battle we have a disagreement that's all. He raised his voice and kept telling in about its a battle in business and I don't understand and kept ranting on and on. I told him it was ultimately my fault because I missed the milage but I would have gone somewhere else that would done my request. If I wasn't able to find another company I would have just done it myself because it would be out of warranty anyway and save myself $660 which was my bill, pretty excessive actually.

They just said it was getting older and just makes noise. Newman's figured out what the noise was and fixed it. We also had them put on new Shocks, Struts and new headlight assemblies. Our car runs like its on rails again. Very professional and friendly. Didn't try to up sell me anything like most mechanics will do.
