This is a comfort stop for Motorcoaches such as Greyhound, Trailways, etc. I was one of those people. I wanted to get something to drink, and a little snackie-poo for the road. I get up to the cashier, and they say, "NO EBT!" Wait, what, no EBT?? Are you kidding me??? All I have is EBT. I'm sure there are a TON of people who only have EBT as their method of payment. I felt discriminated against, because I am positive I am not the only person to have EBT as their only payment method. I mean, really?? There's nothing like having to take the walk of shame to put your stuff back. I feel it's important to use this platform as a means of change. Please, make EBT a payment method. Maybe Ernie doesn't care what their poor patrons have to say, but it sure feels like it. There are some great things I can say about this place, but until they make it so everyone can pay, then the stars stay as-is. To clarify, this was my second visit to Ernie's, and they didn't have EBT as a method of payment. I thought maybe it was a one-off, but when I came back and the no EBT sign was still up, I thought, "maybe this is how they do things." Ernie's, you need to make this right. I went inside this time and asked about it, the cashier told me I would get cash price and I ran it inside. Nope, still 3.159 instead of the 3.099. I was always a chevron gas guy and I worked at a chevron for 3.5 years, but now I'm exclusively going to the shell next door. I tried much harder to give you my business than your establishment did to earn it. I still like chevron gas but I will never be going here again.

I went in to buy a lottery ticket for $30. When I put my money in, the machine jammed. I couldn't…read morebuy a ticket and I couldn't get my money back. I told the clerk who seemed helpful, but when she saw the machine she said, "There's nothing I can do. Sorry." I asked if there was a manager she could call, or anyone who might be able to get my money back. She said, "No, now leave the store." I called the police so I could at least file a report and take the report to the store manager and hopefully get a refund or ticket. In the meantime, the clerk ran into the back to tell the dishwasher what was going on. The dishwasher had keys but no password access to the machine. However, when she opened it, my $30 was credited back to the machine and I was able to get my ticket. I thanked the dishwasher for at least trying to help, unlike her co-worker. What kind of business hires people whose response is, "There is nothing I can do. Now leave the store"? She must be new. Anyway, there is a Texaco convenience store across the street with lower prices and better customer service.

This location by far, has the BEST Dog Park that we have been to (in 5 states!) It has a large beautiful grassy area that is very CLEAN!! It does not reek of dog urine. There was a grounds keeper on site watering everything down, beautifying the area. He was very nice and pleasant (sorry didn't get his name. We talked about his 7 year old pup that has seizures) There are two sections of the Dog Park which was awesome! One section for small dogs that are 30lbs or less, and another for dogs that are 30lbs or larger. Our 6 month old pup, Sage is 45lbs and is extremely energetic & loves playing with other pups, however it was good that there was a gate separating the two sides, as she really wanted to play with a teeny tiny pup. It was better that she say hello through the fence instead. This area was very nice & the human restrooms were very clean & spotless as well! I'm really surprised not very many people gave this place a review, as they definitely deserve all the 5 star reviews!

The best thing about Love's is that they have large clean bathrooms with plenty of stalls! This one connected to a Subway, and others had different chains like Hardee's, etc. They had some hot dogs, taquitos etc in a warmer, and various snacks and drinks that are overpriced like your usual gas station. I also heard them announce that the shower is ready for someone, though i didn't check that option out.
