Stopped by on a Saturday morning based on a recommendation from the lovely ladies at the AutoZone; seems that most repair shops in this town are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The problem was that my rental car was not blowing any air (AC) despite working earlier on my trip. The gentleman (think he was the owner) looked at/operated the controls and concluded that the blower motor was likely failing. He took the time out of his day to check this out for me for no charge. Took in a small trailer tire to be replaced with a new one. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When I got the tire back, I noticed paint chipped off the rim, and there was something left inside the tire. They also charged $20, which would be reasonable if the work had been done cleanly--but it wasn't even balanced. Now I'll have to take it somewhere else to remove the debris inside the tire. It just felt like the job was rushed and not done with care. Wouldn't recommend for trailer tires based on this experience. read more

I got a flat tire on my way to get gas, I called them 20 minutes before they were going to close for the day. The guy name Martin was super friendly & he told me he would wait for me since I was getting help getting my spare tire put on at the gas station. I made it to the shop at 7pm and he started working on my car right away. He showed me what had popped my tire and within 20 mins he had my car done. I really appreciate him & all his work. We got a flat tire late at night on a road trip from Minnesota. The proprietor of this shop said he was open on Sunday morning (only place within 35 miles) and he could help us out. We drove the back way slowly on Sunday morning, pulled in and got quick, friendly and great service here. The cost to replace our trashed tire was very reasonable and he saved us from having to spend an extra day in the area, and got us on our way on our vacation in less than half an hour! This is based on an interaction I had back in early 2020, before Covid. I had always had good service from this shop, so I brought them my snow tires and a set of TPMS sensors and asked them to pull the tires, install the sensors, and balance the tires. I was charged for a full mount and balance on each tire, but on the drive up to Spokane, they ran really rough. When I checked, I saw that there were no balance weights. Next time through town, I brought the car in and asked for a re-balance of the tires, since it was clear that someone forgot to do that part of the job. The guy behind the counter told me: 1) They were just perfectly in balance without weights. I told him that was clearly not true, since they ran rough. Then he told me: 2) They're aluminum wheels, so his guy had probably put the weights on the inside instead of the outer rim. I told him that I had checked, and that there were no weights on the inside of the rim either. Then he told me: 3) Back wheels on FWD cars don't need to be balanced. At this point I was up to my ears in his BS and I started getting heated, so he told me he'd take a look, but I would have to wait several hours. I told him that there was no way I was going to wait. So he pulled it into the bay and pulled the tires. And then told me: 4) The problem was that the tires were the wrong size for the car, and that's what was causing the problem. Well, yes, they were a different size for sure, amounting to a .28% difference in outer diameter, but I told him that wouldn't make them run rough anyway, and once again, I told him that he needed to just do the job that I had paid him for, and stop making excuses. So yeah, I finally got the service I asked for, but I don't think I'll be going back. I've worked as a tech. Sometimes you make mistakes. Biggest mistake you can make is to blame the customer for mistakes that you yourself made. read more

We were passing through on I-90and got a flat tire 10 minutes before the shop closed. They were so awesome to take us in. They called Spokane to overnight a tire and loaned us their truck to get to a hotel. When we came back at 7:30 am the next day, our car was ready and we got back on our road trip! what great service!
