I'm all for deals and good customer service! This place has just that. I arrived on a day the beauty attendant was handing out samples and coupons in a pretty red sack. I joked with her that it was a part of my early Easter basket of goodies. I've already tried some of the travel sized samples. :-) I came in particularly for nail supplies ie clippers and cuticle products. Low n behold the super nice attendant unlocked the product for me and then she informed me of the BOGO deal happening for anything in that section. Lo and behold I had already had another item that I was getting from there! The section was neat and tidy too. Always a bonus. So I got the BOGO deal, used my CVS rewards cash and left spending less than 4 dollars on probably $30 worth of product if regular priced. All three staffers that we encountered this day were super nice and they each went above and beyond to be helpful. read more

Carlsbad, CA - avoid this pharmacy at all costs because there's always a long line. I've never seen a pharmacy with such long lines and each person had a full on conversation with the staff at the window. The pickup window doesn't deal with insurance info so they sent me to another line after waiting in line for window D to input insurance info. The only saving grace is if you have a bar code then you can get in the express line which is significantly faster but even then sometimes there's a line for that. Also the floors are dirty. No one vacuums? Granted the 1 star I'm giving is for the friendly staff. But maybe they're understaff or their system is just not very efficient. read more

I finally got someone and they said they didn't have my prescription so they ordered it and it would be ready tomorrow which sounds great. Went and picked it up and it was the wrong one. I talked to them and they said "oh yeah we didn't have that, so we gave you a different prescription". That actually makes a lot of sense! I went to CVS to buy two types of name-brand pain relievers. It turned out they were behind a security case. There was a button to push above the case for customer service, which I pressed and waited. I heard an announcement over the store's intercom that customer service was needed in the medication aisle, so I am hopeful someone will come quickly. After 10 minutes of waiting and three button pushes later, a person comes around the aisle, wearing no gear to indicate they are a CVS employee. They very casually walk up to the case, proceed to open it, and then stare at me. It was apparent that this person believed they had the authority to make me wait and would do so. While reaching to get the medication, my underage daughter (for whom the medication is intended) is trying to get up off the ground, as she is unable to stand for more than a couple of minutes because she is wearing half-leg hard casts on both legs. After two minutes of waiting, she had decided to sit on the aisle floor. She must roll to her knees and then push herself up to stand back up. While doing so, she bumped into the person with the keys, and it was only then that the person looked down, saw my child and her casts, and hopefully realized I was pressing the customer service buttons for her sake. Regardless, after I pulled the medication from one side of the case, I asked if I could get medication from the other side, and they obliged. Still, it was odd because at no point during the entire encounter did this person greet me, say who she was, or say anything at all, just total silence. My visit to this CVS was on Wednesday, 10/08, at about 10:30 am, and while there was a line of customers at the pharmacy, the rest of the store had maybe a handful of customers. read more

I genuinely feel bad for the employees of this store. Especially the pharmacists, I mean they have a degree .. just to work here. Pharmacy lines are almost always long. If you have the app with the bar code, that almost always is faster. Almost. But, I've never had an issue with my actual prescription. There's complaints of this store not actually being 24 hours and I've been curious of how late they actually stay open. Tonight I was here at 9:30 to pick up with no problem. I do have to say - the first time I ever was here, I was so positive that someone shat in the corner. It smelled so bad I was uncomfortably laughing out loud. Very impressed with the service at the minute clinic at this location. I was seen by Dr Yeong Kim to get my staples removed. I am not exaggerating when I say I am a HUGE WHIMP with this kind of stuff and the whole thing just makes me queasy. Dr Kim was personable and made me feel very comfortable and the staple removal was quick and seamless! Even though I didn't need it, she wrapped my arm to send me home so I wouldn't have to look at the skin while it heals which was very appreciated since like I said, I'm a whimp with this stuff! Unfortunately this is the closest pharmacy to me and seems to be everyone else's pharmacy. I've never seen a CVS pharmacy with a Disneyland line. Also I've schedule vaccines multiple times here and when i show up they don't have those vaccines in stock. According to these reviews, they're not that great at this location, HOWEVER, I was able to get my daughter's pain medication right away! They went out of their way to find and fill her prescriptions. So, keep in mind, there are wayyyy worse locations and places to go to. If you want perfect, probably best not to look for it at a Pharmacy in general, but we are very happy with this location. I was at the counter waiting while the Pharmacist was attaining her prescriptions and 2 other workers came up and asked if I had been helped. It was nice to see such immediate response through the whole Pharmacy staff. There must have been 4,5 maybe 6 or 7 people working just in the Pharmacy area alone. My fiancee had a horrible experience with this pharmacy. The main lady working there was incredibly rude and was not helpful at all. She told her to get her medication delivered to another pharmacy and then immediately went to the next customer while my Fiancee still had questions. We called back later as her portal told her that her medication was ready. We called to confirm the medication was in fact there this time and she was rude again, stating " I have other customers who need my help" and "we're doing the best we can". Do NOT use the prescription delivery! The driver did not knock or ring my doorbell. They called but my phone went to voicemail which I did not receive until 15 minutes later. By that time, the prescriptions were returned to the store. It is no longer possible to speak to anyone at a CVS so I left a message which 5 hours later no one has returned. I just received an email saying my order was returned and now I am forced to go to the store and pick up my prescriptions. CVS has terrible pharmacy service and not just this location. I have covid and needed this paxlivid asap, The error in copay and no delivery or drive through option forced me to pick up in store.
