we agreed on removing 7 trees by digging out or root grinder so they wont grow back. you didn't do that. I've tried several times to get you to come back and look at what was done but I get no response other than "ok". This was a company that I used before and my neighbors have used with no issues so I don't understand why there is such a lack of professionalism now. I live in a rural area have quite a few pepper trees on my property. If you have you trees then you know what a beast they are and how quickly they grow and the leaves trail all the way to the ground. So I found myself in the position last week of being informed that my one of those trees of mine had branches to low into the street and that if not fixed I'd pay a fine. Sooo I asked around and a coworker of mine suggested this business. I consulted Yelp reviews and can't say I was 100% sold - they have both really good and really bad reviews. Buuuuut in the end I went with them because my coworker has used them for a decade and said they were fast, cleaned up well, and had good prices. My personal opinion? I can only base it on Pepper tree removal/trimming. Mosis team was very efficient, I can honestly say it was so fast that if you blinked you'd miss them. They roll up deep, I think I counted 10 people in their crew. Some are climbing trees, some are cutting, others cleaning, and a few throwing stuff in the wood chopper. It was wild. They 100% did exactly as I asked to the T and the price was very very good. They also were as clean as my coworker said with not even a twig left behind. I'm one happy customer and will not only use them again but actively recommend them as well. read more

Awesome group of guys super nice and helpful they cut down a huge dangerous tree that was breaking off huge branches in my backyard right next to my house so thankful they came out in such short notice and when the finished my tree 2 of my neighbors wanted help with their tress and they did those too! I'm sorry but I won't recommend Mosis. I had him (his son) cut down two trees and grind the stumps at one of my houses. They had done a tree across the street from my moms house so I used them. They weren't the best price but they were expedient across the street. I then hired him to remove a tree and stump from my moms house. They took out the tree and not the stump. I called Mosis and he came back to look and said that they couldn't get their machine to do the job but would send his son back to finish the stump. I never heard back from them again. read more

My originally review for this company is gone on Yelp? I had given them a good review. Mosis took down three large eucalyptus trees. They left the stumps assuring me they killed them. Sprouts/growths grew out of the bark, after several attempts to get them back, the owners son came out, did a speed job and was gone. Now sprouts are growing out of the stump bark again. I have been waiting a month to get a reply from a text, I sent with pictures. Very disappointed that they have not killed the stumps as promised, or maybe I'm just gullible in believing them. They did break my neighbors gate that I found out later from my neighbor and a few things in my yard that I over looked since it was a big job. Also, they did not repair my fence correctly after they removed a panel. I over looked that because it was old. But, I do not over look poor customer service, If I call or text I expect a response back. If you say you killed the stump, then do it! If you chose to use them, keep an eye on them. read more

If I could give a negative star I would! They worked on my neighbor's yard and let all the debris fall onto my yard/plants. Their explanation was they didn't know I had plants. BS!! How can you not see plants that are along side a fence line and if someone is high in a tree you can see into another person's yard??? The Supervisor said he wasn't responsible because he had just arrived. I re-educated him that he was responsible for the dumb asses if he was the Super and had just arrived or not. This tree company doesn't know what they are doing. I wanted tops of eucalyptus trimmed and they wouldn't do it but drastically butchered my pine trees which will not grow back. Eucalyptus will grow back. If you need a tree removed they'll do it but don't let them touch any pines. It's a crap shoot and now I'm wondering if the pines they "cleaned" up will survive. They are mixed up in their methods of cutting with evidently no education on pruning. Basically they have guys that climb trees and cut. Would not recommend for anything other than whole teee removal. read more

Our neighbor hired this company last minute to trim a tree that hangs over our fence from her backyard. We were never informed that the the tree was being trimmed. Thankfully, we had been home for a few minutes, when we heard the chainsaws. We tried to get their attention because the tree hangs over our rv, and we wanted to move it out. They never responded and just kept cutting the large limbs off of the tree. My husband was rushing and backing out our motorhome and the tree gave way on our fence and inches from the front of our motorhome. Had our motorhome been in its parking place just 15 seconds prior, it would have sustained horrible damage to the front end. There were no safety precautions taken and we were not informed. Then, they came onto our property to begin cleanup and assess the damage to our fence. It was the end of their day and an add on job for them, so they were clearly rushing. The next day, they brought out 5 new fence boards, even though eight were discussed because of the damage. They did not bring anything to cut the boards or fasten them up. Beware of this company!!! This company is extremely unethical. My 78 year old father hired them in July of 2016 to trim several 35 year old plus pine trees. He trimmed them so severely that these beautiful old trees never recovered and are now dead. He contacted Mosis Tree Service again last month and after confirming the trees were dead, proceeded to quote my father 6500.00 to cut down, grind the stumps and remove the dead trees. He refused to negotiate on the price or refund any portion of his prior service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We will be contacting the BBB as well as filing in small claims court. This is a crime against and he is taking advantage of the elderly. read more

Call Mosi's FIRST and get an estimate! I needed my palms trees trimmed. Just like a dentist asks if anything hurts before starting an exam, Mosi's walked the property to assess overlooked items. With painters coming, I needed tricky bougainvillea trimmed as well. Long story short, they did it perfectly, following my instructions exactly with the best outcome. I had about 10 trees that needed trimming, it was a big job. I called 3 companies for estimates. I saw Mosi's crew working down the street and watched his climber. The entire crew worked well together and safely. My first estimate was $2200.00, the second was $1700.00 and Mosi's estimate came in at $850.00 His crew was professional and very clean. they did exactly what I wanted and no issues. The reason for not adding the 5th star was just because I prefer to have the owner on-site during the entire job. Mosis did show up during the 3rd hour of the job and he explained that he was working with his other crew in MoVal. I recommend this company for any residential tree service needed. They broke several things around my yard. I have a redwood bridge on my property. A large limb or more landed on the railing of the bridge and they knocked it down. They pointed out that they broke and said they were fixing it. they didn't fix it! They made it look like it was standing. It is ruined. It is very shakey. Not useable. Pieces and top rail broken but not fixed. Called and asked for a refund. they had said several times that they would bring me money but never have. They broke my swing set and moved it. They didn't care.. I had to tell them to move the swing set back to were it belonged Also broken several potted pots and lawn decorations. They didn't care. They didn't clean up after themselves. Left many logs and branches in my ditch! The ran off so fast. They think the ditch is a garbage dump. But I am responsible for keeping it clean. They are dishonest and do a very bad job. The son seems to be the manager of this group but all he said to me is that things happen.! They are DISHONEST. and do a bad job. And they don't care!!
