I hired Mosquito Squad last year to treat mosquitos and ticks. The whole sales process was slick and slimy - with an unqualified commission-based sales rep going through a script. They're quick to mention that they will come out again for free if you're not satisfied with a treatment. This is important as we had to have them come out again after almost every treatment. I'm not sure what they are doing (or not doing) but it's clear they are doing the minimum and hope you don't notice. I've switched back to another pest control company and am very happy. Costs a bit more, but I don't need to call them every time to come back and do a second treatment. Spend a few more bucks and get someone who knows what they're doing. Just because they have mosquito in their name, doesn't mean they know anything about mosquitos. Update: this service was performed in Bolton, not Stow. The managers response to this posting was to deny they provided service instead of addressing the bad service. read more

Mosquito squad is the best in the business!! Amazing price, customer service, etc!! The guys that spray our property are always polite and courteous. We live in Billerica by the lake and we hardly get any mosquitos after they spray. They come every 3 weeks and are efficient and prompt. We get a call letting us know they are there and asking if we have any questions before they spray. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are a life saver when. We haven't had any issues w/ mosquitos or ticks since we've used them (past two summers). The mosquitos are horrendous in our area & these guys are a HUGE help! Whilst they cannot (nor do they) guarantee complete elimination, it makes being outdoors much nicer & definitely tolerable. We also have dogs and find the tick spray to be EXTREMELY effective. The staff is nice, helpful and always happy to accommodate our schedule. Read the other reviews for the amount of mosquitoes. My experience is the same. It's great being outside at night. I have conservation land for 1/2 mile behind me and to the left of my house, with wet lands. We do a lot less tic checks on the kids now. What is great about these guys is their customer care. Easy to deal with on the phone and the guys who come out and spray. Come up to the door every time to let you know that they are there. I have kids and tons of sports equipment that we don't always get a chance to pick up. These guys move everything every time. Oh yeah. Ok, where do I start? There's so MANY great things to say about this company. I will start from the beginning. We moved to the woods 2 years ago near the oak hill country club. As soon as summer hit during the 1st year of owning this home we realized that we had 2 seriously dangerous, possibly life threatening issues lurking outdoors, a very large, uncontrollable population of Ticks and Mosquito's. All we wanted to do was be able to enjoy being out of the city life so My husband, myself and our lab could enjoy our property, be able to enjoy our nice big deck, back yard, enjoy the sound of nothingness, and swim at all hours of the night but the Mosquito's and ticks ALWAYS got in the way. The mosquito's literally barricaded us in our home where we couldn't even open the door because if we did, we would have millions flying around inside our home. On top of the mosquito's, our poor dog would have at least 4+ ticks on him. It was like clockwork, every single day around 3 PM Mosquito's were on a witch hunt for blood and were everywhere. We tried all kinds of sprays, fogs, lotions, deet, electronic bug zappers both hand held and the huge ones that you hang where you hear nonstop zapping noises from bugs being fried on top of trying to plant all kinds of supposed mosquito repellent plants. NOTHING WORKED! After wasting a lot of money and having nothing work then the summer was over so this summer we were adamant and on a mission to figure something out. We searched online and Mosquito Squad was the first company to pop up via google so I called them. I had the pleasure of speaking with Sherry. She was so sweet, reassuring, helpful, and detailed as to how their sprays work on Mosquito's and ticks and assured me that it was not toxic to humans, pets, or bees. She assured me that it would work and said that if for some strange reason, if it did not work, that they guarantee their sprays and will come back as much as it is needed. We decided to give it a try and ever since the day that they came to spray our outdoor life has been truly amazing. We have had a few mishaps but they were ALWAYS there to help us and respray without hesitation. If we needed an extra spray due to being swarmed they were there as soon as possible. They are the friendliest, kindest, most understanding and help of people. I will be the first to say that I was skeptical but I swear, the spray really does work for the ticks and the mosquitos. It's amazing to be out on the deck after 3 PM being able to cook out and eat outside...it's a dream come true! I have told so many people about M.S. and will continue to refer them to anyone and everyone that has issues with these disgusting insects. If you are looking for a company to help with mosquito's and Ticks, this is seriously the company. Try it and I can vogue and guarantee that you will NOT be disappointed! Don't trust the sprays that you see at the stores, these insects are immune to them.... Mosquito Squad deserves nothing less than a 5 star rating! read more

Reliable, effective and well priced. This is our second year using Mosquito Squad and we're really happy with it. It's like they gave us back our entire outdoor area! We live on a heavily wooded lot with a wetlands area not too far away. Bugs have always been a problem from dusk and onward. No more! We sit out and enjoy summer nights without the torment of mosquitos. Dog is tick free too.
