It's a cute, quaint little shop that you may want to check out if you are ever in the area. One thing that is true is what a previous reviewer said, the store is rather dark and it is difficult to see inside of. That and the amount of people coming into a small store made me have to go thru this place rather quickly. Its essentially to full of stuff. I wish I had more time to really check this place out with time, but I cannot stand enclosed spaces with too many people in it.

I go to this Paper Store often for various things; cards, candles, games, and gifts. (I mean it's right next to a Hannaford... how can I resist every time I get my groceries!) They really do have a little bit of everything. But really it is the staff that makes this store get an enthusiastic 5 stars. Everyone is always SO friendly and helpful (but not in a pushy way). If you want to strike up a conversation, they will talk to you, but you won't be dogged by people trying to sell you everything in the store. I also love that they have a relatively large amount of staff for the store's size. On any given day, I usually see someone stocking, a cashier, a greeter, and another person or two floating around to help where needed. This means that I never have waited on line for more than 5 minutes (even on weekends) and when I've needed help, I never had to search fruitlessly for a free employee. The store is alway clean and the merchandise neatly arranged. Keep up the good work everyone!

They are always willing to special order and even ship any of their items to you. And now I am really excited that their Falmouth Store finally has Vera Bradley accessories. Unfortunately it has a limited number of larger sized bags. They also have great gifts for anybody and their card selection is great!

I like to smell my candles before I buy them (and then buy them online when there are wicked good…read moredeals [or coupon codes available], which often there are), and came to Yankee Candle to do some "research". There is SO MUCH PRODUCT here. Candles, wax melts, sprays - every single size and smell imaginable. You forget what all of that looks like in real life when you do your retail therapy digitally! I like Yankee Candle, their product is usually five stars (shout-out to their scent plug-ins; they make my super old bathroom smell not funky). But I wanted to write a quick thank you note to one of their employees. I actually bought a candle in person and thought I liked it so much, I bought it again online. When I opened the jar to light it, my pet immediately started sneezing (this isn't the first time this has happened with their product). The candle I bought in person, I stupidly threw away the receipt for. The candle I bought online I was able to start the return process; I was told I would get a QR code via email and all I had to do was show it in person. Only, no QR code/return email ever came (despite MANY attempts at getting one). I decided to just go in person to the mall and explain all of this to them (I've never returned candles before, so I knew there was a good chance I would just have to take the "L"). Luckily for me, my email is registered so all of my (many) purchases are documented. No receipt? No problem. Not burned or used? No problem. The patient employee was able to look up my orders; and, I was able to swap out the candles out for ones that I wanted. It was a lot more seamless than I was expecting (also, despite buying the original large candles at a deep discount, somehow my return yielded more money back than I had spent, so I was also able to snag some wax melts and still have $7 leftover. Not sure how any of that worked, but I'm not complaining). So, thanks Nice Yankee Candle Person At The Mall! My flat smells good and my pet isn't sneezing!

My friend found this store on TikTok and as a lover of fun home items and whimsy we needed to stop…read morein! The mini print machine is such a fun concept. I believe the artist is local and we saw one other print machine at the Warby Parker but it looks like a different variety. There are so many cute greeting cards, matches, perfumes, candles, etc and it was all so tempting! I left with one mini print (the cashiers will trade you for quarters, super helpful) and some perfume! If you're looking to do some fun shopping in Portland this store is definitely worth a stop.
