This hotel is not bad at all considering the low price on a sold out weekend during Spring break and the limited lodging options near Death Valley. We arrived past midnight and I called in advance to make sure they didn't give my rooms away. The front desk guy wasn't the friendliest but did the job. When asked for wifi, he said it was $5 but has not had any luck making it work that day. Skipped. To my surprise, the room was a pretty good size, with wood floors and updated bedding and bathroom sink. If you looked at the bathroom in detail, you would find some less than squeaky clean spots but I wasn't expecting much so decided to just ignore those. They provide you with soap but not shampoo or conditioner so bring your own! There was free coffee in the lobby and there was also a Denny's and convenience store right across. There were also coin operated laundry machines on my floor. Plenty of free parking and you can see the sign from far ahead on the freeway. First time at a Motel 6 and was pleasantly surprised!

I stayed in the Asia room. It was very comfortable for a three night stay. Each morning they offer a tasty and satisfying hot breakfast. It's a great way to start your day into Death Valley, or wherever you are headed. The place is full of Peacocks, rabbits, and goat named Esmeralda. See pictures attached. The location is about 30 minutes outside of death Valley. It's about 25 minutes away from a small town called Beatty. Beatty offers services like gas a few restaurants and a few convenience stores. Be careful when driving around town. There are free range donkeys that roam the streets. They're really cute, but they move it their own pace. The stars here are pretty amazing. I brought my telescope and was glad I did. But even without a telescope, it's worth taking a glass of wine out to the backyard and just gazing into that black sky and soaking in the stars. Pro tip hit up the dollar store in town for supplies. Don't forget to grab a lot of water For your day(s) in Death Valley. Bonus pro tip - wake up early and catch the sunrise in the backyard.

The picture on the website are soo miss leading, we were excited at first but then it just kept getting worse and worse as we pulled up. Absolutely NO customer service here! If u ask for something get ready for the attitude that will fallow from the lady at the front desk. The kitchen is a horrible experience they will yell at you if you grab food . They will yell " we have other guest u know." Like scream it, I don't see anywhere that says one plate per person. If its busy and need to bring the food to your room they will absolute flip out. I wish I was kidding. I have a bad back so I needed to go eat in my room didn't think it was going to be such a shit show. This place smells as bad as it can get as well. The pool was the only good part but its in a huge green house so its very hot and humid in there so it wasn't to relaxing. So yeah if u want to just throw your money away and enjoy nothing come to this place. You will absolutely leave disappointed. As the other reviews say as well just keep driving the extra 30 minutes we had such a better time and it was clean great food as well, Oh and u can bring food back to your room without fus..

The gentleman who checked me in, was very friendly. The hotel looked great from the froont. The rooms are in several buildings in a row back from the front. Our room was in the second row, and there was a dirt path to our room. We go inside the room, and the first thing we noticed was while the room was clean, it was like somebody had sprayed an entire can of Febreze into the room. It was strong. We tried to open the window to air it out, but the window wasn't working properly. It was also cracked. One of the lights next to the bed wasn't working so I had gotten a replacement bulb from the lobby. It looked a little strange, but we put it into the lamp, only to discover that it i was a black light. Huh? What kind of places is this? We couldn't stay. Both of us were getting a headache from the Febreze smell, and it was causing my traveling partners allergies to kick in. We left the room, I went to the lobby, explained it to the gentleman, and he did process a refund immediately. The Febreze smell was so strong, it even stayed on our clothes for a bit. Like I said, it looks nice on the outside, but looks can be deceiving.

They might not like gay people from the city or something. I was able to stay at the motel 6 down the street after trying to get them to answer for an hour at the alien Inn. Don't waste ur time here. Probably don't like gay people or people from LA or something dumb like that. They immediately refunded me which means they were aware of what was going on and didn't let us stay there on purpose.
