We decided to just stop in Beatty for the night on our way home to Arizona. The office was still open and the gentleman there was super friendly. We had electric hookup and the onsite showers were awesome to use after a day of travel. Recommended for anyone needing a quick stop for the night! read more

Quiet. Clean. Good price ($25). We called the same day and got a space for two nights. We loved our visit to death valley and extended our stay another two nights rather than boondock inside the park. We liked the WiFi and being hooked up to electric during the cool nights. All the sites are Pull thru. Manager (TJ) was quite the character and offered fun banter. The RV park offered Roku, multiple 5G WiFi options, picnic tables and the showers are clean but just ok. Only two showers (one male one female). The water was Hot but low water pressure. We would stay again. read more

There's no way this place is a four. With that said , we were looking for a place to pull in for the night. Three spots were level enough we didn't need to unhook. (space 3). The front office staff was pleasant. And it was cheap. Keep your expectations low and you'll do fine. read more

Holy mother of everything that is holy. I thought the store in Escalante was bad! I pulled up to this joint to look a few groceries, and found no where to park expect an RV spot. The first thing I noticed was a trailer that had clearly been there since the civil war, as evidenced by the proudly flown confederate flag and the fact the thing looked like it was sinking into the sand. I went into the "store" where I found a toothless man eating something and watching tv. Why he was open is beyond me. His store was totally empty. Empty shelves, empty freezers, empty refrigerators (except for sodas). Three ice cream coolers that were unplugged and empty. What is he even open for??? I felt so freaking awkward, and thought it would be insulting if I just walked out, so I bought a bottled coffee (not even Starbucks brand) and casually asked if there were any other stores in town. Jesus. A Family Dollar only. What do people do for food here? How can there be operating restaurants if there can't be any stores? Clearly food delivery is not an issue. Doesn't anyone who lives here want fresh produce? read more

My friend and I stayed here over Thanksgiving and were completely satisfied with our experience and will stay here again. The bathroom was clean and the other residents were respectful and overall quiet. There is some road noise at night because the park is on US 95, but beyond that I can't think of any other issue. The wild burros that roam the town were interesting if not somewhat dangerous. Next time (outside of COVID restrictions) we want to try some of the restaurants in town besides Denny's. Some people may give a different picture of this place but considering this is a very small rural Nevada town on the edge of Death Valley, keep your expectations in check: do your shopping in Pahrump or Las Vegas and don't be aghast when the market has empty shelves. This is a desert RV park not Walmart. read more

This park is right off the highway 95. It isn't much to look at but at night, we were surprised by how quiet it got since there wasn't much traffic after about 9 p.m. Wifi was amazing, especially, since we were out in the middle of nowhere (we had much worse staying at an RV park in the middle of Phoenix, AZ)! We never used the bathrooms so I can't comment about them. As other reviews noted, there was nothing in the store so don't plan on doing any grocery shopping. Spacestation. Camping in the "wilderness." You're donkeys are so forward. I love it. This camp space is dominated by RVs that look like they are long term tenants. Some are social. Some were never seen on my 2 night stay. Everyone was really nice and helpful. When you make a reservation, they take your name and credit card number along with your camping dates. You are not charged until your stay, but you're charged a nominal fee for a no show or late cancellation (under 3 days or something like that. It's reasonable). We camped in a tent, and I was able to pull my car up to my space without a problem. We were the only tent for a night, but other tent dwellers showed up, so we weren't so lonely. The space is clean, and it even had an outlet for cell phone charging, which we totally took advantage of. The main drag in town is a 2 minute drive back to the interstate highway (I'm from California, I don't know/care what it's called), and 2 minute drive from the Denny's-casino-gas-station combo up the road. I popped my propane stove cherry here, and it was pretty righteous. The price for camping was comparable to other sites in Beatty, and they did not have all of the listed amenities that the rest did... but lemme tell ya - the wifi made up for it! I don't need no stinkin' hot tub! They grounds have a little store that has most things you might need, and there is one male and one female bathroom behind the store. These bathrooms were clean when we arrived, so we were able to utilize these facilities without a problem. It was actually pretty spacious, and reminded me of a larger version of the VIP shower situation at Coachella. It was nice. Since we were there for a Tough Mudder event (which gets really dirty), the bathroom did not stay so clean after that first night as people were using it more to get the mud off. The staff cleaned it as often as they could, I think. Also, there was no way to limit access to the restrooms to the actual campers onsite. I encountered some very fresh mofos who held both restrooms hostage one morning for quite some time. They just stopped by as they were driving through, because I didn't recognize them from the previous day. I wish this site had a key/keycard system for restroom access. Maybe that would help? Camping in the 21st century is quite difficult. Okay, but seriously, there was a small family of donkeys that frequented the area. They are really nice and familiar with the staff. They came through at night and made some noise, but just wanted some food. They were precious and I wanted to take the baby one home with me. I think one of the tenants has a dog that kept marking the corner of my tent. NOT COOL. Be sure to bring a bottle of vinegar-water solution to get rid of the scent if you have a tent! I liked our stay at this RV Park. It is very basic though. For the park fee, you get a spot with the normal things. Electric, water, sewer. WiFi and cable. The folks are friendly and I will be back next year. I like that it is in town. The Burros running around are all over town. They are wild. The items that bring it down in the stars are as follows. The spots are small and narrow. Some were so short, I could not park without unhooking my truck. They did have some long enough, but had it been busy, I could have been out of luck. The width appears variable also. Mine was just wide enough for two feet on the back side for hooking up utilities. The front just enough for my awning. The things that add to the stars would be the friendliness of the folks. The clean machines in the laundry room. The price of doing your laundry. WiFi is ok. Not great. I could watch video, only if, it appeared, no one else was. At times I had near 2 mg download speed. Other times it was less than .40. Yea, really. Don't know the restroom condition as I like my own toilet and shower. Don't know about the cable cause I don't have a tv. There were not a lot of channels from the sheet they gave me, but they looked like a good choice. Not much in the way of shade. But the power is 30 amp so you can run AC. read more

It's a 5 star for what it is, which isn't a luxury hotel or all inclusive resort - if you're looking for one of those, well Beatty isn't your ideal stopping place anyway. But, if you are looking for an inexpensive really clean place with all the basics and some nice people with a kitschy name - well then th Space Station Market and RV Park is your nirvana. We were on a 4 day remote backcountry overlanding trip through Death Valley and the winds came whipping up one day. Since there was no escaping the wind in DV and our next day plan was to do Ryolite Ghost Town and Titus Canyon, we decided to head to Beatty, NV to see if we could get some wind relief outside of the canyon. Well, the winds were a bit better, but forecast to end within 3 hours - so we started looking for a place to stay. We are fans of quirky things and I'm a fan of all things space/alien. extra-terrestrial, etc. You get the gist - yes, we've done a trek out to Area 51 - but I digress. While filling up with fuel and wrenching a few repairs at the gas station in Beatty, my girlfriend was searching for nearby campgrounds (we hadn't had a real shower in a few days so she was not going to pass up the opportunity stay at a place that had one). She told me she found 4 places, but I never even heard the names of the other 3 since the first one she read off was, The Space Station Market and RV Park". 'Nuff said - I just asked where it was and started driving - it was close. At the Space Station, we got the last tent spot, right next to the creek with singing bullfrogs and lively burros. Hey, in town and some wildlife - all good - especially since we hadn't camped within miles of anyone in the last few days. we paid the $16.35 for our tent spot, took hot showers, and used their propane grill to cook dinner. The store is well stocked and the lady who took care of us was extremely nice, caring, and very friendly. Apparently, the on-site market sells the best premade microwave breakfast burritos on the planet because all of the people I saw in the market had arms full of the things, and any place that stocks a healthy supply of Vienna Sausages and Premium Saltine Crackers is my kinda joint. The hot showers were really nice, the bathrooms and all facilities and grounds were immaculately clean. Guests were quiet - bullfrogs and burros were not - but that was just fine with us. All in all - a great place to stop - recommend it highly to anyone looking for an in town place to camp. read more

From reading the reviews we knew not to have high expectations for this RV Park in Beatty, only needed a small spot just to pull in a truck with camper the host decided to put us right next to a long term resident (even though there was other spots available) who is apparently a "night owl" and likes to go in and out off his RV most of the night along with friends, there's also a lot of other "night activity" through out the parK. So if you like to listen to people running through the park and on the sidewalk all night this is a great place for you. And the store was not well stocked as stated in previous comments. this park is a very basic kind of park. It has great wifi, free cable, good and clean laundry. Well stocked convenience store. It is with in walking distance to the quaint downtown area. Ron, the manager is very helpful with directions, suggestions, history, and just a nice all around person. Friendly burros roam free and do enter the park. Well stocked food and essentials for locals, renters, campers and visitors. It's great to get fresh veggies and non-perishable food + frozen options. The closest grocery stores are an hour drive either direction from Beatty so The Space Station is an excellent alternative. Friendly staff, parking is off street. read more

Nice small park. Basic, like others have said. Spent one night here on our way through Nevada. Very friendly staff, very accommodating. We were in late and out early, and didn't use any facilities. We stayed here in a 36' motorhome, no slides, with a toad. We'd stay here again. read more
