I had called the hotel a couple of times earlier in the week and Luke and Haley made sure I knew we were welcome to come in the night prior. After we got parked, we walked in to let them know we had arrived. Brooke and Luke were amazing and so accommodating. The next morning we walked in to find out about check in times. Once again, we were greeted warmly by Chrystal and Nicole. I genuinely felt like I was a priority. Nicole even invited us in to enjoy some breakfast. As we ate, we watched the front desk as they greeted everyone who walked in the door. I have never seen a Housekeeping Manager stand next to the front desk representative to ensure guests were getting everything they needed for their rooms. It was absolutely refreshing!

I checked in at 3pm. So I was trying to watch TV when at 5pm the maid service decides to vacuum the hallways with very loud vacuum. So had to turn the volume up so could hear what I was watching on TV. Really? You had all day to do this you had to wait till now? And then ( I swear I'm not making this up) I'm in bed trying to sleep and 10pm some moron decides that's the best time to mow the field right out my room with a very loud mowing machine. Are you freaking kidding me? Mowing at that time of night? C'mon man! I really felt like telling the morning desk person (which would have been ok since it was another regular American person) but decided since they probably wouldn't have done anything about it anyway, I'll just Yelp about it. So stars only for the fact this place is run by regular Americans instead of having to put up with those, er, umm, ... from the other side of the world.

Beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable and they didn't charge extra for our dogs. The only thing that might have given me pause had I been a lone woman traveling was all the tractor trailers. I personally only saw other families, but there was a woman in front of the hotel in the evening who spent a great deal of time holding a relatively loud conversation on her phone while we unloaded. ( things that make you go hmm, and why I might be hesitant to stay here as a lone woman ). We also had some furniture in the back of our truck and some boxes in the car and no one messed with anything in the excellently lit lot. I would stay here again given its convenience and value but not as a solo female traveler.

PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE!…read more Second stay for me, this time otw home! Had to stay here for client's points. We've all regretted this. First, a deposit wasn't taken at check in so they turned my key off. I had to go rectify this when getting a key. Mind you this is the 3rd and 4th stay for my clients and I within a week at this location. All rooms were booked on points and the first 2 stays never required a deposit. My client was majorly p!$$ed when he found this and raised hell. Swears he's never staying at this $h!+hole ever again, thankfully. When road tripping with horses over 7 hours, after dropping them at their farm stay, all I wanted was a shower and sleep. Of course I had an ADA room and the shower floor wasn't installed correctly. Before I could even get in the shower, the floor was flooded. I can't take a shower and walk out to a flood. You can clearly see that the extra outside drain ends before the end of the shower, exactly where the water pours out. What causes this? You can only have the shower head pointed at the back wall, there's no ability to angle it down. While I had blood spatter on the sheets last Tuesday, and black stains on the towels, it's not much cleaner this time. At least the cover isn't open and the smoke detector does appear to be in working order. Steer clear, please.

We boarded our two dogs for nearly two weeks. The facilities were clean and spacious. I especially…read moreloved the fact that they were not in crates at all... instead they were inside their own room which had beds and toys. It was very cozy for our two babies. Ms. Kathleen sent us pictures of them playing and relaxing when we requested and let us know how they were doing. I'm so thankful that she provides this kind of care for our two so it helps put my anxiety at ease when we have to go out of town. Ms. Kathleen was very knowledgeable and very attentive to our dogs diet and needs. We couldn't be more thankful. :)

Kathleen was also very flexible when I had a sudden change in plans and needed Hitta to stay two extra days. She also provides loads of pictures when requested. I'm only giving 3 stars because there was one altercation with my dog and another dog. Although no major injuries, I was not notified immediately, my vet was not called, nor my dog taken in to get check. The scar on his arm probably should have had stitches even though she told me differently. If there was better communication on this I would rate it higher.
