Blanket cigarette burn (non smoking room)
    Wendy H.

Every one is saying this is a great hotel apparently I stayed at a bad time... Our stay was 02/05/19-02/08/19 We drive 18 wheeler and having work done at a local shop - and we typically always stay with motel 6 - (Tammy was amazing with booking and check in ) Anyhoo We got non smoking- room... smells of cigarettes but not to the point we had to say anything cigarettes burns in top blanket- Bathroom Needs to be fixed upstairs bathroom is leaking into our bathroom. Room 126 My floors were FILTHY -(didn't say anything just went to Walmart and bought a mop and bucket ) There was food still in my fridge - (I dint complain or say anything just tossed it out )On 02/07/19 The building manager MOE demanded a room check when I called the front dest to ask about a do not disturb sign as we didn't want services prior day check out( that they no longer offer)Later that evening we went did laundry at a local laundry mat and went to have dinner. We come back to our room to find that our room keys (both ) are not working. I drove to the front desk office and "Donald " is the front desk service personal. I went in and let him know my room keys are not working and ask to please re activate then he asks for room number and name in witch I given him promptly- he then tells me my husband AND I need to show ids to get room keys - at this point I'm frustrated I get my husband and tell my husband in front of "Donald" he needs our ID for some reason ... Donald then says to me "I can call the police and have YOU escorted off the property instead" I then ask if mo is available because I dont feel that's proper consumer service and I can guarantee I will be telling every one I know and come by dont say at motel 6. This chain used to be my favorite anymore there all just going down hill.

It was pretty nice considering how cheap it was. Clean, quiet, no complaints here!

The only thing that kept me from giving this business five stars was the bathroom. The beds were…read morepretty comfortable, pillows were fluffy, and the air worked. Fantastically! All of the lights were soft white, and added to that comfortable ambience. The bathroom honestly was lackluster, with tarnish and mold And a toilet that ran for the majority of my visit. On the other hand, the service at the front desk was absolutely wonderful, the girl that worked there during my stay was very pleasant and kind. The breakfast was amazing. They had miniature scones, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, and other hot breakfast items available each day. Did I mention they have pumpkin spice waffles right now? Not going to lie I was super excited! The pool is closed at the moment, but the indoor workout room did not smell like a nasty, old, rotten jam, it was actually rather pleasant, and all of the equipment was well-kept! Definitely debating coming back here and hopefully they will get their bathroom situation figured out. Because short of that my stay lasted entire week and that was the only complaint that I had.

They are receiving lots of love and attention here at the property. The location is convenient to sams club, movie theater and the interstate. The road parallel to the Interstate has all of the restaurants and shopping that you'll find here in Cookeville. But the town itself is unimpressive. But if you're going to be here, this hotel is a good choice. So far, this is the worst hotel stay I've had in the 5 months I've been on the road. I've been checked in for 2 weeks now and I've had absolutely no housekeeping. I've went downstairs and requested room service 3 times. Yesterday, I finally spoke to a manager and she informed me that housekeeping is afraid of my caged dogs. But she reassured me after my assurance that they'd be put away in my absence, that my room would be flipped. I let her know that I was away from my hotel room for the weekend and she said they were still there for the day, and here I am walking into my room, still hasn't been serviced. Seriously a bad representation of a Marriott location.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at a Comfort Inn & Suites in…read moreCookeville, Tennessee. What began as a positive experience quickly turned into a deeply concerning situation involving what I believe to be discriminatory treatment, harassment, and improper conduct by hotel staff. My family and I were in town due to a funeral and had booked rooms at both this hotel and a nearby sister property. We were informed that the pool at this location was open to guests from both hotels due to maintenance at the other property. During our time at the pool, our group--consisting of four adults and five children--was singled out and repeatedly stopped and asked to prove we were registered guests. We observed multiple other individuals entering the pool area without being questioned and being greeted politely by staff. In contrast, we were treated with suspicion and subjected to repeated scrutiny. We later learned that the individual initiating this interaction identified herself as "Kim," the Director of Sales, not a front desk associate. Despite not being in a front desk role, she continued to monitor our group, including walking past the pool area window, pointing at us while on the phone, and repeatedly intervening. In an effort to comply with staff concerns, we returned to our room and booked an additional room at approximately 4:00 PM. We have timestamped confirmation of this booking. Our children were back in the pool by approximately 4:30 PM. Despite this, staff later claimed that the room was not booked until after 8:00 PM, which is factually incorrect and directly contradicted by our documentation. At checkout, we discovered additional charges for extra guests who did not stay overnight. When we attempted to resolve this, staff presented photos of the minors in our group--taken while they were in the pool in swimwear--on a personal cell phone, claiming this was evidence of additional guests. This action was extremely inappropriate and raised serious privacy concerns. Furthermore, after disputing these charges and raising concerns about our treatment, we were informed that we had been trespassed from the property. This appears to be a retaliatory action in response to our complaint rather than a justified decision based on our conduct. Throughout this experience, we made every effort to comply with staff requests. We were respectful, followed instructions, and even booked an additional room to address concerns raised by staff. Despite this, we were subjected to what felt like a pattern of targeting, surveillance, and inconsistent enforcement of policies compared to other guests. Given the totality of these events, I am requesting: A full investigation into this incident, including staff conduct and use of personal devices to photograph guests Removal and refund of all improper charges Clarification of hotel policies regarding pool access and guest verification Assurance that appropriate corrective action will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future This experience was especially distressing given the circumstances of our visit. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed promptly. Sincerely, Eric Messer
