It's hilarious that folks rate a Motel 6 down for things like not having coffee pots or luxury beds. Dudes, it's Motel 6! You're paying less than $50 for a hot shower and place to crash with your pets, nothing more. If you get a clean, quiet room and decent customer service, that's a 5-star stay for the old M6. This one is super convenient, REALLY quiet, and has all you need for a good night's sleep to get you back on the road. Check-in was quick and flawless. That said, the room was comically tiny. It's 96 degrees and the pool is closed. Minus one star. Ththtpt.

This review comes with the context that I booked a motel six, to begin with, so my expectations were not exceptionally high. I arrived slightly late and was immediately given the key to the room. It was a smoking room despite having booked a non-smoking one. I was informed the next day by a friendly employee that they don't control the online bookings so they couldn't have let us know there were no longer any non-smoking rooms available. I could only expect a refund or discount if I had complained at midnight and left to find another place to stay. It reeked of old smoke, unfortunately. The toilet had rust or perma-crap in it. The shower had a film and was not clean. It was unfortunate to have paid $90 in the middle of Texas on a weekday and receive such a crappy stay. I am giving this gross motel a second star because the staff was friendly though not necessarily helpful.

This place is dirty. So gross!!! The mattress is stained with urine. Sheets and top cover are stained as well. The hangers and woods are full of dust. Broken shower knob, I took a shower with super hot water because I had to wash from a long drive. We paid $99.00 for a dump! $99.00 is not a budget price and it doesn't have to be unbearable. So disappointing- how could this place pass from health and business licensing department???? This place should get penalized the way they run their business. Hazardous to travelers; THANKS GOD WE DONT HAVE SMALL CHILDREN AND PETS with us. This place is charging travelers way way too high. No microwave no refrigerator no shampoo or conditioner? We are not going to stay at any MOTEL 6, anywhere here in the US anymore. This place just ruined it! I had to give a star rating otherwise it won't let me post. But this place doesn't deserve any star at all!

Roaches. That's enough said. Apparently not for Yelp...they are making me write more. So here goes: no shampoo, no hairdryer, they serve coffee in their coffee maker in the lobby on the morning...because there isn't one in your room. It's the grossest scariest motel I've ever been to besides the abandoned dilapidated one I took art photos of once. I've been tent camping in better conditions. Yuck! I need a shower but I'm too afraid to take one here.

We pulled in here for the night on our drive back to CA. What we got: - Decent size room - Beddings and linens that appeared clean What YOU should expect: - Extremely THIN walls. You can hear everything and anything from your neighbors. Odd that we heard loud banging from our ceiling but were staying on the top floor? Creepy. - Funny shaped modular walk in shower. It's shaped like a capsule from a cruise ship. Beware, water leaks out everywhere. - Shady Wireless Internet. Their signs make you think Wi-Fi is free. When I asked for the code, I was told that it cost $10 an internet card. Come to find out later that their website said it was only $2.95 We chose this Motel 6 and were not expecting some star rate experience. But if I would have done it again, I would pay an extra few bucks and stay at the Best Western next door.

    Nice TV and desk.

OK. It's a Motel 6. But I road into town after a long bike ride and saw a bunch of motels and inns. Then I saw Motel 6 sign with $39.95 a night. I pulled in, paid $45 total with tax and got a ground room I could park my bike close to. The room was Clean, new and flat screen TV. Perfect for a quick night stay. Now there is no fridge or microwave or coffee pot. But it had a comfy bed and desk. And HBO. I would stay here again.

It seemed there was care and pride in this ownership of BW. I did notice that the freeway noise was audible while in the room, but I didn't mind since I was content with being able to see my car from my room. I had no idea that there was a bar in the dining area of the hotel that is open till 11pm (I checked in at 9pm so the only food they had left was a bratwurst sandwich and potato salad) it was a very nice option to have if everything else is closed. Lucky I ate before getting to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again in my travels between Houston and Northern California.

Texas-style restaurant/bar immediately adjacent. McDonalds about half a mile away. Plenty of easy parking. Nice small gym, and the pool seemed to be really popular with kids. The room was clean and I slept well. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. You really get the feeling they're trying to go the extra mile. And speaking of that, when we arrived I had thought I would need to go out for dinner and I was amazed that they provided that. It was nothing special -- salisbury steak, corn, and mashed potatoes -- but given that I really didn't want to go out after a long drive it was very welcome. However, the hotel breakfast was just OK so I went to the nearby McDonalds instead. This place kept surprising me on the upside. Everything was just a bit better than I expected for the price.

To start off with, the owners are very very nice and accommodating. They will work with you if your company stays here for a while and you are needing a little torrent help, this is not for everybody just depends on how your company and fellow co-workers act I suppose. The layout is like a u shape pattern with the main office in the middle with BBQ grills, ice machine (bags.) that you grab if needed and snacks, dollar minimum donation. This is an honor aystem which I hope nobody abuses a very good thought by these owners instead of gouging people like other places do. The rooms are accommodated with microwave, coffee pot, TV and refrigerator. I can only a test for the refrigerator in room number 8 but that thing gets really cold if you needed to, one of the best refrigerators I've ever gotten a chance to use in any place, even my own home! The restrooms are stocked with clean towels, soap bars and toilet paper. Showers are stand up showers only. The one thing that stands out what I experienced hair compared to any other place is it was about 2 storm hair with hail and the owner personally knocked on everybody's doors inviting them to park their cars under the ports where you're not supposed to park your vehicle in the first place because there are picnic tables there, but she insisted because they care about people not having their vehicles damaged by the hail . That right there tells you the character of the owners here! I want to thank the owners on part of GRID for the hospitality that have shown me and my co-workers during our stay. Also when you run into the negative review on the other platform that they were just honest about their rates, try not being an idiot and smoking in the rooms when it clearly says non-smoking. All you have to do is meet the owners for a day or two and you will completely understand that they would not treat anybody lesser than the person next to you unless you break a simple rule.
