    Nice courtyard

Not a huge fan of Motel 6 but 5 stars for this one. Wonderful front desk staff. Very clean rooms and grounds. No fridges, room coffee or Microwave but coffee in the lobby. Quiet night. Firm but comfortable bed. And the biggest deal there was a Garth Brooks concert in a local town and an accident closing the freeway for 7 hours. Any available rooms were being jacked up to 600 to 900 dollars. These kind folks kept their regular prizes. A pleasant stay.

    What a dump

If I hadn't been so damn tired after driving all night I would have found somewhere better to stay. What I needed was to sleep for a few hours before getting back on the road. The woman who checked me in was so rude. Anytime I asked her a question she would stick her finger in my face to silence me and she failed to mention the bugs. Oh the bugs... The whole room was covered in insects. It was absolutely disgusting!!! When I checked out I mentioned the bugs to the front desk person. She already knew all about it and said all the rooms are full of bugs because of the river down the road. Ok gross!

    Dirty uncleaned microwave.

If I could rate this Motel room a zero I actually would. I am so disgusted by this motel room first off, when I came in, I didn't see anything too strange. The beds were done neatly which was a great thing! But... when I walked into the bathroom it was a whole different story. The first thing I saw was the half-wasted used toilet paper roll. The toilet paper roll had some strange wrinkles on it but it looked like it had been dropped in the toilet before. When I compared the new and wrapped toilet paper roll on top of the toilet, I figured the old wrinkly toilet paper roll on the bar was used!!! After more searching the bathroom it was easy to find out that there was a HAIR inside and inserted inside the hand towels. When I had examined the sink, it was easy to spot a load of male hair on the sink! To mention, there was also hairs around the sink. After this mess, we figured that there must be something else so horrid and mind reek mess. As soon as I reached to grab the pillow sitting on the bed, I spotted not only one but TWO blood stains on the pillows once I examined the whole pillow it had HAIRS on it. When I had been morbidly disgusted by the shelf and microwave, the shelf had some type of strange brown crumbs with other mysterious things! The microwave was absolutely dirty! It had old brown drip and stains it didn't look clean at at. There was also some weird black thing on the plastic bag that they give you. After all these horrible things I'd like to say that the beds were done neatly the toilet looked clean. That's about it. Please take this review to thought! I hope this helps for anyone viewing this.

Idk what the hell this is but its gross

Needless to say, I would recommend definitely recommend this motel to any contracting teams looking for a place in the area, but I would say it's a family friendly place as well.

Also a covered portico is over the entrance for loading and unloading your vehicle. The pool was open and plenty of families enjoying the water. The lobby is bright and comfortable. Coffee, tea, cocoa and cucumber water available to guests. Two staff members on reception were very friendly and efficient. Our room was clean, tidy and sunny. The King room has a small fridge, sans freezer, microwave, ice and coffee service plus plastic cups. A small side chair and table are next to the bed. Plenty of charge ports bedside. King bed was firm, four big, fluffy pillows, soft linens and nice weight blanket. The air con was quieter than most and worked quite well. Controls on wall. A luggage rack and hooks are located in the entry way along with an open closet where you'll find the iron and board. Bathroom was very clean. Tissue and TP are thin but they are there so I'm happy. Multi-use personal care by vanity and in shower. Towels are sturdy and absorbant. Water pressure good and hot water plentiful. We hung our toiletrie bags from the towel rack over the toilet. Breakfast is at the on-site restaurant, Kountry Kitchen. We bought their breakfast included package. Everyone seems to get a $5 off coupon for staying at the hotel. We used the $5 off at dinner and 'breakfast included' coupons given at check-in for breakfast. We left our waitress a tip for her table service.

Room was accessible via an interior hallway and also had a sliding glass door that led outside to where we parked our truck a few feet away and his service dog could take care of her business. I couldn't figure out how to turn off the heater/AC so modulating the temperature was problematic. It was constantly either blowing hot or cold air. This may have been user-error..... We ate at the restaurant where our server, Trent, was very friendly and funny too. Food was good, country style fare. I had meatloaf, he had chicken fried steak, both were good and generously portioned. We shared a salad that was outstanding--field greens, radicchio, candied pecans, cranberries and blue cheese crumbles.

Check-in serves both the Quality Inn and the Roadway Inn next door and the lobby displays both logos. The receptionist did her job well and was very friendly. We had a ground floor room and parked by the door at the end of the corridor. There is plenty of parking all around the building. A key card is needed to enter by any door other than the lobby. Room doors are recessed from the hall a bit. The building is a couple of long buildings with connecting hallways. You have to pay attention to the hallway signs. An ice machine was in the middle of the building in one of these connecting hallway areas. Breakfast is about as far away from the lobby as you can get, next to the pool. An exercise room is through the pool area. The room was clean and looked newly painted. Not a very cheery color. There is a newer fridge, and microwave in the dresser under the TV. An ice bucket and cups are there as well. A coffee maker is on the desk. The room was very warm all night, even with the temperature set to 62. Besides the desk chair there was one other seat in the room. The bed was comfortable and the sheets super soft. Nice variety of pillows. Plenty of blankets. Lamps have plug outlets in their base. The sink is in the room. No place to hang a toiletey bag but a fair amount of vanity space. Single use shampoo, conditioner, soap provided. In a queen room two wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels and one bath mat were provided. The shower head is mounted very low. For a person who doesn't wash their hair daily this was excellent as the water hit about chest height. Plenty of hot water, good pressure. Toilet worked well. Good amount of hangers in the closet area. Foldable luggage rack, iron and board are stored here too. Breakfast is 6-9am. Coffee, juice, cold cereal, hot eggs and sausage, toaster items, biscuits and gravy plus all the things like peanut butter, cream cheese, hot sauce and so on. I made an egg sandwich. At check-out I mentiones the bathroom fan sounds like the motor is in distress and the desk chair is broken. From the reaction I received they will carry on that way for the unforeseeable future. Would I stay here again for the price I paid? Absolutely. I was warm, dry, had a good sleep, hot shower and breakfast before hitting the road again. Was it fancy and elegant. Absolutely not. But that costs extra.

However the breakfast is amazing and the lady that runs the kitchen is absolutely adorable and the nicest person I've ever met. The lady that runs the laundry seems to think that if you get a discount or you use your points that you don't deserve clean towels every day which is absolutely absurd, she told me that she wasn't my maid and didn't have to clean up after me. Be aware: the train runs through town over half a dozen times each night (so far I counted 8 in 7 hours) with horns blaring and the walls and floors shake. I couldn't sleep through it, although I can see how you could if you're used to it. However, for the average weary traveler this could be too much to take. Fortunately the AC worked (thank goodness, as it was 102 out), but the bathroom door in our upper floor room didn't close all the way (and was a bear to open if you could manage to close it even half way). In the morning around 7 they have hot coffee and some packaged pastries ("Little Debbie" esque). I wouldn't stay here again, but I wouldn't say that it was a bad experience, just not my comfort level (many are long term residents and many others come to stay for just a few hours). It was effective as an inexpensive, simple place to stay (which is what we wanted after 7 days staying in hotels out of town). Bonus: To reduce time spent in the room, we enjoyed a movie at the Reel Cinema just a few miles away (which has excellent pricing for movies and concessions!)
