After a long 6-hour drive, the last thing we expected was to arrive at our hotel around 7:30 p.m. and find our room door open with one side of the bed clearly slept in. It was obvious the room had not been properly cleaned or prepared for new guests. When we went to the front desk to ask what was going on, the employee casually said the housekeeper "must have been distracted" and offered to go upstairs and make the bed. Absolutely not. Once someone else has already slept in the room, simply making the bed is not an acceptable solution. Thankfully, my sister had an extra bed available since our family was all in town for a reunion. Otherwise, we would have been scrambling to find another place to stay late in the evening. The condition of the property only added to our disappointment. The hallway floors were uneven, the carpet was misaligned, and the two chairs in the lobby were heavily stained and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. Cleanliness and basic room readiness should be the bare minimum. I would not recommend staying here. Our stay here was fine. Some of these reviews are so negative I questioned our sanity staying here. It's a two star economy lodge. What we got was a solid two star hotel experience. Check-in serves both the Quality Inn and the Roadway Inn next door and the lobby displays both logos. The receptionist did her job well and was very friendly. We had a ground floor room and parked by the door at the end of the corridor. There is plenty of parking all around the building. A key card is needed to enter by any door other than the lobby. Room doors are recessed from the hall a bit. The building is a couple of long buildings with connecting hallways. You have to pay attention to the hallway signs. An ice machine was in the middle of the building in one of these connecting hallway areas. Breakfast is about as far away from the lobby as you can get, next to the pool. An exercise room is through the pool area. The room was clean and looked newly painted. Not a very cheery color. There is a newer fridge, and microwave in the dresser under the TV. An ice bucket and cups are there as well. A coffee maker is on the desk. The room was very warm all night, even with the temperature set to 62. Besides the desk chair there was one other seat in the room. The bed was comfortable and the sheets super soft. Nice variety of pillows. Plenty of blankets. Lamps have plug outlets in their base. The sink is in the room. No place to hang a toiletey bag but a fair amount of vanity space. Single use shampoo, conditioner, soap provided. In a queen room two wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels and one bath mat were provided. The shower head is mounted very low. For a person who doesn't wash their hair daily this was excellent as the water hit about chest height. Plenty of hot water, good pressure. Toilet worked well. Good amount of hangers in the closet area. Foldable luggage rack, iron and board are stored here too. Breakfast is 6-9am. Coffee, juice, cold cereal, hot eggs and sausage, toaster items, biscuits and gravy plus all the things like peanut butter, cream cheese, hot sauce and so on. I made an egg sandwich. At check-out I mentiones the bathroom fan sounds like the motor is in distress and the desk chair is broken. From the reaction I received they will carry on that way for the unforeseeable future. Would I stay here again for the price I paid? Absolutely. I was warm, dry, had a good sleep, hot shower and breakfast before hitting the road again. Was it fancy and elegant. Absolutely not. 847 of overcharges on my card three different times I okayed a $50 deposit for room damages only to not have my money returned even though there was no damages. So that is a total of $897 overcharged on my card. The owner made unwelcome homosexual advances towards me in my opinion. I've never had another guy try to hit up on me so I could be wrong but he made me feel really uncomfortable. However the breakfast is amazing and the lady that runs the kitchen is absolutely adorable and the nicest person I've ever met. The lady that runs the laundry seems to think that if you get a discount or you use your points that you don't deserve clean towels every day which is absolutely absurd, she told me that she wasn't my maid and didn't have to clean up after me. This place isn't horrible for the price but the cleaning staff won't come. I was there for over a week. Ran out of trash bags/trash cans, there's a dog in one of the rooms barking its head off for hours. You can hear everything in this place. You can see daylight through the door. If anyone does anything the entire place will hear it. I went to the pool and there were no towels. Seems like the only thing they care about is breakfast? I only give one star bc the tv works, the ac works ,the bed 'seemed' clean and I can't give a lower rating. Honestly spend the big bucks somewhere else unless you can sleep through anything or have noise cancelling headphones. But you get what you pay for. read more

We were traveling during the COVID19 crisis from Seattle area to Phoenix to pick up hubby's mom and bring her home to Washington for a few months! This was hubby and my first time in town and everything is shut down due to this virus! Not knowing anything about the area hubby and I turned to the internet to find a place to stay. The Quality Inn was clean, quiet and reasonably priced for just sleeping as we were just passing through. If we are ever in town again I would stay here again. read more

Seen as apparently they are in the middle of remodeling I should have been offered a discounted rate because it definitely was not worth $72 a night. The bed was comfortable. I should be thankful that being the area is pretty crappy convenient by the Thruway and I did not have any bedbugs or roaches, I did, however have to plunge my own toilet after having to wait 15 minutes for someone to locate a plunger. I would've given it a one but I'll give it a two because the bed was comfortable and the TV microwave set up was good. I was not able to partake in the breakfast because they started at 6 AM and I had to leave at 5 AM. Maybe they need to start breakfast earlier for people who have to go places there's absolutely nothing around Open early in the morning. read more

The carpet was dirty and sticky, the room smelled like dirty feet. when I complained to the front desk I was told, " well we are changing out the carpet in all the old rooms, that is why there is a a big storage bin in the parking lot. This is got to be the worst room I have ever stayed in. I could see people walking in the hallway from the crack between the door frame and the door, due to missing trim. The patch job on the walls looks like a junior higher was given up putty knife and spackle. The floor had deep Indentations underneath the carpet, kind of like someone took bowling balls and drop them on the floor leaving indentations in the sub-flooring. Which brings me to the carpet it was filthy, old and a little crusty. Since I've talked about the walls and the floor let's not forget the popcorn ceiling. Wow. Our stay started on 06/20 -9/21we were in Ontario for work and it was going to be an extended stay. Our room always seemed to just feel stuffy and stale. From day one to the night we left. The hotel claims to have internet which I can assure you it does not. You'll get any excuse from solar flares to construction. It doesn't work and the reception in the hotel is spotty to say the least. We paid for three months consecutively in weekly payments. That were never on the say day and were always at random. Seemed whenever the manager would decide to post it. There had been multiple mornings we would wake up to our room door being open or even if we were just sitting in the room or coming out of the shower to find it being open. House keeping made an appearance to our room maybe a dozen times over our three month stay. In which they would never take out the trash or make the bed it was always one or the other.You could hear everything from our room I mean everything. The crack between the door and the wall was wide enough to see out into the hallway and felt like you have no privacy at all. For Labor Day weekend we went home (while continuing to pay for our room) and had come back to our room as we left it. Untouched by house keeping. And our fridge had been unplugged all the food we had bought had gone bad and rotted which had to be thrown out. The staff was not only extremely unprofessional but rude. They gave off personations no one wanted to be there. No one liked their job and everyone was miserable. You were never greeted with a smile or even a positive attitude. The key cards seem to never work like they are supposed to and no one seems to really know how to properly do their job or even have a means to get ahold of management to get help. After returning from work a 10 hour day our key cards couldn't get into our room. Where all of our belongings were. We were advised the battery in the lock had died. They changed the batteries and the lock still was inoperable and nobody could fix it so we have to wait approximately 6 hours for a technician to come out and repair it. They had no master keys to let us in our room and told us there was nothing they could do and we would have to wait. After about 3 hours the hotel called us and said they put the batteries in upside down and it was working now. A few days later the lock cover had come off and the batteries were on the floor we put the batteries back in and out the cover on and proceeded to get yelled at saying we were not authorized to do that only management could. There is also a little shed building in the back parking lots where several night we would return from dinner to find people partying and drinking with very loud music outside it with chairs cars running and just watching people come and go from the hotel. The high volume amount of string out troublesome folk was highly unsettling often times you could find people hiding in bushes or lurking around the outside of the building. We were treated as more of a bother to management then guests. The front desk manager JOSHUA was the most unkind unprofessional and disrespectful customer service worker I have had the displeasure of coming in contact with. On our last day staying with this hotel. I had gone down to get my room key replaced for the 100th time as we had no intentions of leaving. The rate was good and aside from unpleasant workers and no Wi-Fi we were planning on staying. Getting down to the front desk JOSHUA was getting me a new card and looks at me and asks " how much longer are you guys planning on being here" I explained I was unsure as we didn't know when this job would be up. He stated our stay ended two days ago and he extended it for our convenience. Our stay was scheduled to end 9/23 in which we planned to renew the paper work. He scoffed at me and said well if we wanted to stay my partner would need to come back when he gets off work and sign the new paperwork and they would be raising our rate. Now for the only thing that made our stay worth in. The one breath of fresh air. KATRINA was the most amazing worker there she was so kind and generous and really took care of us while we were there. She is amazing at her job and is one of those people you just want to hug on a tough day. KATRINA thank you for your hospitality and making us feel as welcome as possible. We made reservations at the last minute. We got there and was helped quickly and the front desk person was very nice. We got to our room and it was very clean. They provide a fridge and microwave. I don't particularly like the smaller pillows and the softness of the pillows. The bed was comfortable but not to my liking except my daughter thought it was great. The price we paid for the hotel was very reasonable compared to the other hotels nearby. For what we got we thought we had an awesome deal. The best part was the breakfast that was included the next morning. They have fresh Belgium waffles to make, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuit and gravy, Tillamook yogurt, cereals, breads, juices, you name it. What a deal for not having to pay for breakfast somewhere else. We would definitely be coming back to this hotel if we had to stop once again on our trip up to Washington. read more

There are alot of great hotels across the country but I have to say I liked this one the best. Friendly hotel clerks, great breakfast (eggs sausage coffee gravy!!!!). The beds are unbelievable comfortable. I wanted to stay forever!!! Plus it was reasonable priced. read more

I stayed here because it has an indoor heated pool and one of the only places in town that allows pets. The bed was comfortable but the acoustics from the upstairs was paper thin! My 9 year old daughter is a heavy sleeper but even the loud echo of every step above woke her and I up. When I complained to the front desk what was fed to me was they were busy that night. Busy or not crap construction is still the same!! Don't stay here especially on the bottom floor if you expect sleep even if the bed is comfortable!! One more thing to mention is the entire property has no grass for the so called accommodating pet option. Only red cinder rock which certainly is not inviting for your dog! I ended up taking my dog across the street to do his business at The Best Western grass! read more

This is a good place to stay. Clean with friendly service. The pool was clean. Nothing special and nothing bad to report. Yeah, it needs a face-lift. But so does most of that corner of Oregon. There are cheaper rooms but I have my kids locked down in the car for hours, they need to swim off some vinegar so the cost is a good investment. read more

We arrived (early evening) in the middle of Winter Storm Helena, and we had to drive into the hotel reception parking area, then out to our own parking space, in about 7 inches of snow. No one had done ANY plowing/snowblowing/shoveling, and one of the "enter here" signs was buried in snow. Even the next morning, the only plowing that had happened was the main driveway to reception and ONE parking area - I felt sorry for the folks who were parked around back, and still had to drive through even more snow to leave. Once we got to the road, we were fine. But seriously, a hotel that doesn't plow the road to welcome guests is asking for guests to go elsewhere. And we will, next time. read more

My family stayed here last weekend in 2 rooms. Totally remodeled rooms, everything new, very clean. Complimentary breakfast a plus, all new. The owners were very accommodating and the price can't be beat. Checked all the other motels rates in that area and looked inside a few. This was most impressive. Right off I84. What a charmer this hotel turned out to be.... Had prepaid the room prior to our trip and as soon as I told the "sweet, kind, helpful"..... Oh wait let me re start because that was what I expect a hotel would be like... Just not this one... Not by a long shot.... It was straight out of the Shining... All that was needed was the tricycle... Walked in to check in and was promptly and extremely rudely informed that I couldn't have prepaid and no I couldn't charge the card on file because my husbands last name is different... Got lost in the maze of lumpy filthy carpet and stairs to find our room which despite the hideous and slightly damp carpet was decently clean (the only positive)... Loud stomping in the halls most of the night accompanied by very loud couples through the walls.... In the morning attempted to get some breakfast but was unable to even enter the strange room in the bowels of the hotels maze of creepy carpet... As it was so incredibly full of people you couldn't get through the doorway. Saw the pool and thought it would be nice to take a dip. Jumped in, was so cold I immediately got out, at which point I saw a clearing in the zombie horde of hotel guest's in the breakfast room and chose to grab a cup of coffee and a piece of fruit... Found out the hard way that it was a bad idea when there was no coffee, or fruit, or food that didn't look like it was scraped out of a trash can... What a disappointing way to spend $100+ read more
