Couldn't find the campground host to get our money back. Couldn't use the pic-nic table because it had six cats on it. Human excrement on the walls of the bathroom. Locals drive in and out all night long using the laundry facilities. This place was so bad that I called the State of Oregon Health Department to make complaint. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!

First of all, George, the guy i talked to on the phone ("come on down, bring all your friends! $7 per car."), who took my money, gave me a free pen, gave me some discarded cardboard to help me build a fire, and showed me where the bathroom was, was very friendly and helpful. You know those customer service experiences where you find yourself smiling minutes after you've finished talking? It was like that. This place was about a 15 minute drive from I-80 and yet it feels as though it was hours away from civilization (could have sworn I heard "Dueling Banjos" being played as we drove down the long gravel road). We were treated to both a beautiful sunset and sunrise and there was an adorable babbling brook nearby. We were tent camping on what I'm pretty sure was someone's front lawn but when it got dark we could have been deep in the forest, it was so quiet and peaceful. Every inch of our un-bug-sprayed-exposed skin got bit my mosquitoes, though I think that was due in part to our choosing to be so close to the water. The inhabitants of the campgrounds looked like permanent residents, there were about 8 or so RVs that looked like they hadn't been moved in a while. They probably don't have very many tent campers, because there were only 2 fire pits. The bathroom was really clean (if a little old and decrepit) and heated! Totally private shower. If you find yourself looking for a motel alternative in Eastern Oregon, this is a really good one. Bring the bug spray!

It was kind of near the river/launch ramp. Not much of a view. I think this location of the snake river just isn't all that nice. A lot of brown yuck and lots of flies and gnats. Had to be careful to keep our mouths closed! When I went to use the bathroom, the light wouldn't work! I tried a couple different switches (they're outside) nothing! So I had to leave the door wide open for the natural light to come in. I don't get it? Why not have a light switch inside the bathroom? Anyway definitely clean - very outdated. The camp host was nice, she saw us come in and kind of chased us down on her little golf cart and actually came around my husband's blind side and he almost ran her over! We were a little confused by the way she snuck up on us. I'm not sure if I would recommend coming here ? Definitely not an "Oasis on the Snake" Of all the RV parks that we have been to on our 2 Week road trip, this was by far our least favorite.

We got a pull thru site that had a beautiful view of the river. The bathroom/shower was warm and inviting. Super clean and felt like great care was taken to make sure everything was in its place. They have a very nice picnic area with 2 grills, firewood, and picnic tables. The spaces are fairly long, not too wide, but we had enough room to put out all of our slides. We had a grassy area to the right with a picnic table and a nice tree for some shade in the heat of the day. There is a nice area for tents. There are two restrooms and 8 private showers. All of the staff were nice as were the other campers. No issues with loud noise at all. We will definitely stay again when our travels bring us this way. There's a nice grassy area at the park with tables for picnics. The drive is beautiful and not too long. Majestic mountain views.

Staff collects trash every morning and also will refill propane tanks for you if you leave the tank out, you just have to pay for the propane! We chose to get a group site as there were 3 groups in our party. The group site consisted of 4 sites forming a box around shared grass (shown in photo). Full hookups including a direct dump spot on your site! There are plenty of solo sites which each have their own grass patch (pro tip - sites around spot 77 offer a view of the river!). super dog friendly with stations throughout the park for bags and waste trash cans. The main lobby has free popcorn available for self serve. Very nice pool, hot tub and sauna, as well as a mini fitness area and showers located to the left of the lobby. 8pm-10pm is reserved for adults only. Bathrooms were literally the nicest i have ever seen (super clean!) with each private stall having a shower, sink, toilet and complimentary bathmats. bathmats only ran out once in the 4 times i used the shower. There is also access to the river from the campsites and areas for fly fishing! Full time residents stay here as well :) Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again!

Individual bathrooms with showers equipped with bath mats! Very clean and the water pressure was excellent! 6 bathrooms in our area with the laundry room. A short walk from our camp site. The main check-in area had a club house with a pool/spa (adults only 18 and up from 8-10pm) with a lounge. They had some entertainment at nights (scheduled). Free popped popcorn all day, help yourself which was just like what you get at the movies - yum!
