    Not worth $188 a night.
    Ellis B.

If i could give a zero i would. Wifi had only 1 bar. The room is a basic $60 motel who charged me $188 for one night. There is minimal towels, pillows and soaps. I have never felt so ripped off in my life. Thanks to booking.com for messing this booking up. No refund is offered even though there were people looking for rooms. The front desk smiled in my face when i said it is not worth that much money. FIND A BETTER PLACE TO STAY THESE PEOPLE WILL RIP YOU OFF.

A 1930's style classic, within walking distance to shops, Santa Rosa Jr College & High School. I do loads of travelling and my room was large, clean, it had a microwave, frig and minutes to downtown or Hwy 101. It was the best $80,00 I have spent, the rooms were quiet and I will return. Family Owned.

The front desk employee, was annoyed when I arrived at 2:00. She lectured me about rooms not being ready, and how she doesn't like the app giving guests the option to check-in early. Rooms are old and dont smell great. There were also some unsavory type guests staying in some neighboring rooms. I got he feeling this may be a popular place for unhoused people to stay when they get enough money together for a room. Our next door neighbor was clearly on drugs and came outside and glared at us and slammed his door each time we went to our car. Very odd and a bit unsettling. Bottom line, this hotel is just too inexpensive to be a safe place to stay. I'll just pay $20 more p night and stay in a Hampton Inn or Garden Inn as opposed to this location.

When we arrived, I asked if there was any room with 2 queens we could move to, and luckily they did. They informed us that it was an ADA room which we were fine with. The room is spacious and clean. It didn't have slippers or robes but a quick call to the front desk and they brought it up. We went to the pool and had a swim with our daughter and sat in the hot tub for a bit too before getting ready for smores from 7-8pm. The smores hour was very crowded and they ran out of marshmallows, crackers and chocolate. We waited around for the replenishment and it was a little chaotic as everyone rushed the table. I remember getting smore kits that are preboxed at the Hyatt property in Monterey and that would have made it a little less chaotic for the guests to all grab stuff and standing and blocking the table trying to skewer their marshmallows while others waited. The room itself is a good stay, we heard very little road noise even though we faced the main road. The cordless phone made a weird beep all night which was a little annoying and the only other thing I will mention is that there is a lack of space for clothing storage. Overall, this was good enough for a quick stay but I would stay elsewhere next time.

Couldn't verify any of the complaints. Staff at the front, greeter at the door as well as the valet guy, were all cordial. The lobby was nicely decorated with a Christmas tree and a very chill vibe indeed. Rooms were quaint with nice accomodations (large LED flat screen and brand new fridge hidden inside cabinet. Bed was comfy and firm with new beddings. I'm usually picky with pillows so I brought my own. Closet had complimentary white robes and slippers. Bathroom had sliding door and a Smart mirror. Shower had hard rain water. Our room overlooked the parking lot so we had plain view of our car. La Rosa Tequileria and Grille is next door or not sure if this is affiliated with the hotel. But when we would pass as we walked to the mall (about a few blocks away or a hop and skip away), the restaurant was always packed (indoor and outdoor). We didn't get to try La Rosa as our dinner reservation was with Warike (Peruvian and literally across the street.). Prices at Warike seemed steep in comparison to La Rosa, but everything was worth every dime. Everything we ordered there was flavorful and delicious with excellent ambience and customer service. Our overnight stay was a pleasant one and will definitely be back soon and would recommend this hotel to all. It seemed pretty quite but busy when we stayed here on NYE, but that's a sign that this little town is still flourishing. Parking at the hotel is a hit or miss. But there's always the option to have VIP parking and they will park your car for you, about two blocks away next to the theater.

The front desk said they'd give us a refund for how bad the stay was and then they denied the refund. There was black mold on the bathroom in ceiling in multiple spots as well as a very thick layer of dust buildup in the vent. All of the washcloths were wet, as soon as we arrived so I made sure nobody touched them. The toilet paper had finger nail marks in it and entry point on the side- not sure what caused that but anyways. I tossed it and opened a brand new one and it had spots of black mold. I really wish I had taken a picture of it. My kid needed to shower and as I reached for the bath towel, my hand was covered in hairs. I looked at the towel and there was so much hair and dust. Our hotel key stopped working after the first day, and my husband had to request new ones. The other reviewers are correct- it is quite uncomfortable for a family. There are a lot of unhoused people in the area, a lot of long term guests who come out to smoke in the parking lot or just hangout on the curb. The front desk staff said we would be receiving a refund due to the towels, toilet paper, and key issues but after we left, my husband contacted them to follow up and they said they are unable to grant a refund.
