Sheets removed from the bed and held up at the office where I was told THAT IS NOT A SEMEN STAIN!

Had the pleasure of staying at this location on the night of September 3 in RM #122 on a road trip from Phoenix to Pittsburgh. Had the DISPLEASURE of checking into this location on my way back to Phoenix in RM #124 on the night of September 21. After checking in at approximately 10:15 this evening with rate and tax at $80.90 for a one night stay, I was preparing for bed. I pulled back the sheets and much to my dismay, the top sheet appeared to show signs of semen stains and I noticed the same on the fitted sheet. Just to make sure I'm not some crazy deranged 46 year old with an imagination, I did make contact with both sheets to confirm my suspicions. I then pulled both sheets off and took them to the desk where I made the FATAL MISTAKE of asking for new sheets. Before even looking at what was in my hand, a bald gentleman vehemently denied there was semen on those sheets at which point in time I held them up and showed him as he stood behind the glass and I explained how I just checked in and I promise what's on those sheets did not belong to me. At 46 let's assume I know the look and feel of a STIFF SOCK and I promise those stain marks were stiff as a board! He then informed me that he would need to place me in a new room and directed me to bring the sheets to him so that I could pass them to him through the door since they obviously wouldn't slide through the window with the plexiglass partition. Attitude from start to finish. As if I wasn't a GUEST checking into his hotel and as if the hotel didn't fall short in guest satisfaction. I may have mentioned out loud that I have a past as a DoubleTree Hotel Front Office Manager so I do indeed speak "hotel". And upon mentioning that, the bald gentleman replied with THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU STAY THERE because . . . well tell me again why I want to sleep beneath/on sheets stained with someone else's semen!!! I didn't even ask for someone to come to my room and replace my sheets. Just give me the set and I'll make the bed myself!!! I'm on a road trip to and from Pittsburgh and I just stayed at a Candlewood in Pennsylvania where my sheets were COVERED in hair that wasn't mine. I'm not difficult. I went to the desk and asked for new sheets and changed the bedding myself and stayed for 2 days. So what was the problem here??? As another POTENTIAL guest walked in, I said OUT LOUD "how do you give me attitude for bringing my semen stained sheets to you for a new set as if I did something wrong" and that potential guest walked out the door faster than he walked in that door. So now this Motel 6 lost business. And it's all my fault. And I'm asked to leave. I then called 911 just as a security measure to make sure I would be able to remove my belongings AND my pets without incident. Upon their arrival, the gentleman at the office advised the police officers that he would NOT be refunding my money for the 25 or 30 minutes that I may have been in that room. I have time dated pics of the sheets in question. And upon removing my belongings I also have time dated video evidence of a baby roach crawling on the floor. It's been said that God works in mysterious ways so thank you God for allowing me to leave that room without transporting roaches from New Mexico back to Phoenix. We have enough wild life. I promise!!! But explain to me why we feel JUST in not returning my $80.90? With a background in hotel front office management going back to 2007 AND a background as a bank branch manager going back to 1999, this should be interesting! Oh, I didn't even mention the condition of the mattress "protector" that apparently needed a protector of its own! Those pics are attached as well! At 46, I've lived a life of customer service dating all the way back to 1994 at McDonald's. 30 years of doing the right thing comes with expecting others to DO THE RIGHT THING when in that capacity. DO BETTER PEOPLE!!! I should add that it's 2 hours later and I shared this story with another desk agent at another hotel and he said sometimes adhesive melts and sticks to fabric. I'd buy that . . . if this situation happened during the drying process of the top sheet on the bed. But something leaked from the top sheet directly below it onto the fitted sheet while it was still in a cool liquid state which tells me the chances of both coming out of the dryer with STIFF stains in the same exact spot(s) are slim to none! Prior to this road trip, I haven't stayed in a hotel since 2019 on another trip to Pennsylvania. And it's definitely gonna be awhile after this experience. Especially since the next hotel checked me into a room that was already checked into just to move me to another room where I was greeted by a roach on the floor the minute I flipped the light switch. What can I say. I'm a lucky guy!

WHAT IS THIS!!!!! Dirty sheets with cum stains and hairs! Definitely weren't washed between uses

CUM, hairs on the bed sheets and in the shower... and moldy FOOD!! First and Last time staying with Motel 6. Terrible reservation customer service Only plus is woman working front desk was very friendly

Q tip was there when we checked in

Do not waste your money here. The sheets are not clean. The bathroom has someone elses hair and the room itself is filthy. This is our second room and if we werent only here for a 6 hour nap, I would leave. This is not the correct address. See pictures, barf.

    Decent bathroom for the price.

Quiet, inexpensive, good customer service, laminate flooring, and no bad odors. For a motel 6, I recommend.

This room met my expectations. It's a motel 6 so all I wanted was cheap and clean, and that's what I got.

Veteran family owned & operated, he took his time & did it right. The last time we were there hubby was admiring the concrete work he did outside our regular room. The rooms have all been completely renovated & are super clean & comfy. We have a special room we stay in, we always stay in the same king room. We have stayed here so much that when we call he must know our phone number bc he always knows who we are. We tell him we are coming & he always says "see you when you get here!" We never even have to use a credit card to hold our room he just says "y'all can pay when you get here." One night late he even left the key for us :) A wonderful place to stay on Route 66 that has so much nostalgia with incredible friendly service. The King bed in our room is super comfy. We LOVE staying here :) Can't wait to return! See you again soon! Support Small Business! Highest Recommendations.

From the moment we arrived, the kindness and care we received went far beyond anything we expected. Manager Amy runs an outstanding team and clearly sets the tone for genuine compassion and service. Ray at the front desk was especially wonderful--he went out of his way to help us, even connecting us with his sister Juana, who graciously stepped in to give us rides around town when we needed them. That level of personal care is something you just don't see anymore. Ray himself was also incredibly inspiring and helpful throughout our stay. Susan, who took care of hospitality and the kitchen, made sure we were comfortable and well cared for every day. Andrea kindly gave us a ride to the hospital, Jeremy made sure we got safely back, and Carlos helped with transportation to the mechanic so we could deal with the truck. Each person we encountered showed genuine kindness, generosity, and a willingness to go above and beyond. In a difficult moment, they treated us more like family than guests. If you're ever in Santa Rosa, this is the place to stay. Not just for the rooms--but for the truly exceptional people who work there. Thank you all again for everything--you made a hard situation so much easier, and we will never forget it.

They did warn when sending a reminder email about the reservation that the hotel is undergoing renovations and there might be some evidence of that while staying, we were concerned but stuck with the reservation. Besides the note on check in, I did not see any reno being done, but man does this location need it. It seems like it is 20 years outdated and worn out! The king room we staying in was tight except for the very old bathroom that was huge if not very in need of updates and fixes. We also thought the noise in the hotel was a bit more than anywhere else we stayed. We definitely heard a dog, motorcycles from the property outside we could see (private residence) and voices. If they are really doing a reno, this will all be fixed I am sure, but right now it isn't great. It is a hotel off Route 66, a road more dotted with motels than nicer hotels, so maybe it just is what it is for where it is. However, it was place to lay our heads for the night, nothing made me want to stay.

This location has since been updated and done quite nicely, too (we stayed here about 2 years ago). La Quinta still offers top pricing if you're traveling with your pupper ($25/night), which is a main reason as to why we choose to continually book with them when we make our roadtrips across the nation. For this stay, our room was room 230, which is located on the top floor corner, overlooking the hottub, and on the other side of a not frequented stair-well and exit. This room was very clean and it's location served us perfectly. We had easy access to our parked car and a potty area for our dog. The stairs are carpeted, and the exit door had a soft close, so when in our room, we were unable to hear if other guests were coming and going through the exit door and stairway. Service was extremely pleasant (thanks, Charlie and Jaime)! One of my most favorite things I look forward to when staying at a hotel is the coffee and tea station. This La Quinta offered the most options I've seen in a long while, which I was very excited by. Unfortunately, we had to leave early in the morning, so we were unable to stay and enjoy their hot breakfast (served beginning at 6am). We really appreciate all this hotel offered. From the clean room and we'll maintained property to the complimentary drinks and friendly service. Highly recommend booking with this La Quinta.

It was ironic that there was an accessible button for the door there. It did have an access to the first floor, but if someone checked in that needed accessibility and the first floor was sold out they would be out of luck. I was traveling with my daughter.
