The king room we staying in was tight except for the very old bathroom that was huge if not very in need of updates and fixes. We also thought the noise in the hotel was a bit more than anywhere else we stayed. We definitely heard a dog, motorcycles from the property outside we could see (private residence) and voices. If they are really doing a reno, this will all be fixed I am sure, but right now it isn't great. It is a hotel off Route 66, a road more dotted with motels than nicer hotels, so maybe it just is what it is for where it is. They have a cool looking pool in the back but unfortunately we did not have time to check it out and we did not bring our swim trunks.  Masks are required here so make sure you bring them.  The only reason why a 4 and not a 5 star is because we had to wait quite awhile to get checked in as there was no one at the desk to greet us.  I wish the closet was not hidden as it was in front of the door, but looked very small.

The front desk contacted their manager and they told them to tell me to contact Expedia since I booked through them and they would grant the refund. I did that and Expedia told me last week I will get a refund. When I checked the refund status today they tell me the hotel is saying I didn't complain to the front desk and I will not get my refund. I will be posting this on all there online presence and will contact corporate and the health department to check this hotel for their standards and the safe for the public. I will also dispute this charge with my credit card company and never stay at a days inn again.
