MAJOR SAFETY ISSUES: 1) Room 225, the room I was put in as a single petite female does not lock - I ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor with the bathroom door locked. The owners were made aware of the issue and have continued to rent out the room. 2) The fire alarm was disconnected 3) Some of the lights did not turn on - electricity issue or lack of light bulbs 4) the tub kept dripping during the night. 4) There were holes/stains on the sheet There were other issues with my reservation being cancelled, but that was due to booking through a 3rd party. Some people did not receive their Room Rent Deposit $20. Due to having to be in Iowa for work, I ended up moving to the Best Western down the street, it ended up being cheaper and 100x nicer. read more

This hotel doesn't allow cancelations even two days in Advance. No breakfast, pool is broke. Clean but no extra pillows. Fixtures show damage. When it comes to Motel 6, this is most def one of the best ones. It was remodeled a couple years ago, and looks nothing like the standard Motel 6 with the tacky bed covers and tiny rooms. My room had a king size bed, 36" flat screen TV and the remote was not even chained down. The carpets were new, the rooms large and included a desk and desk chair. There is onsite laundry and swimming pool, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's really nice, and the price is still very reasonable. My stay for a Saturday night was $49.00 plus tax. The rooms were very sound proof, I didn't hear doors slamming, and because it's inside hallways, no noise at all from the parking lot. The area is good, there is a mall across the street, and plenty of eating places around. I will be staying here next time I am in town. read more

This motel made me feel. very uncomfortable. The manager is rude and very unprofessional. He takes the coffee from the .morning and stores it in his office. He takes out the rest and pour it out. I asked politely if I can have coffee and his replied very rudely, NO! He needs customer service skills. I was there for 3 weeks for school but I will never go there again. read more

Everything is very clean including the rooms. The rooms seem a little small. Impressed that this Motel 6 had a pool. It isn't huge but a pool nonetheless. The girls working the front counter were very friendly. Price was definitely good at $71 after tax for a Saturday night. Would definitely stay here again. read more

I'm so disappointed that I have to update my review for this place because I was genuinely impressed with my first stay here. My husband and I chose this place again when we came to visit my sister because we had such a pleasant visit last time. This time it was completely UNACCEPTABLE We had no microwave (which really surprised me because even the most basic of hotels provide you with a microwave) and our refrigerator didn't work. Unfortunately, we found that out the hard way because we put our food and drinks in there and woke up the next morning and everything was still warm. And when we came back later that evening, only the bed our kids slept in had been made and the bed my husband and I were in had been half made...huh??? Wtf? Also, the ice bucket we had in our room needed to be replaced because there was this black stuff on the inside of it...perhaps it could've been some kind of ink, I'm not sure, but why would you think it's ok to give a guest a stained ice bucket?? When I complained to the girl at the front desk she gave me another one and she also gave me a liner for the bucket so that issue was resolved. Upon checkout, we also informed her of the broken refrigerator and all she could say was that they were in the process of renovating. Um, ok so did that mean your guests should just deal with a broken refrigerator until you all decide to replace it?? Overall, I don't know if I'll be quick to come back here because we could've easily went to the Hampton Inn up the street but since we were impressed from our last visit we decided to come back here. I think for the almost $200 we paid for the weekend they could've at least made sure we had a microwave and functioning refrigerator! read more

I arrived at midnight with my 3-year-old. The room had two beds, but one of them didn't have a blanket. (Neither bed had a coverlet.) At the time, I was so exhausted that I hardly cared. I curled up with my son on the one decent bed, and we got back on the road the next morning. Later that day, still on the road, I noticed two calls from an area code I didn't recognize. It was the Motel 6, claiming that I had stolen a blanket and saying that they'd call the police if I didn't pay them $50. I called them back to let them know that the room didn't have a blanket when I arrived. The lady immediately went on the offensive, saying they'd never rent a room without a blanket and that if the room hadn't had a blanket, I surely would have let the front desk person know, and so I must have taken it. I insisted on the truth, letting her know that, "I'm the one who should be mad because my room didn't have a blanket!" At that, she yelled that her next call would be to the police, and she hung up on me. I was so upset. I was making the two-day road trip to attend the funeral of a close friend, and her terrible customer service and threat frightened me at what was already a hard time. I wound up calling back and talking with her more, and she told me that she would give my name and number to the hotel owner, Mr. Patel. (She wouldn't give me Mr. Patel's contact info or let me know when he'd be back at work.) That was Friday and today is Monday and still no call and no apology. My husband is convinced that the employee who called me from the front desk was running a scam. All I know for sure is this: I didn't take a blanket because there was no blanket, their hotel housekeeping did a bad job of making sure the beds were made, the hotel manager on duty had terrible customer service and seems to make it a policy to bully people. I have never been so disappointed in a place in my life and we will NEVER go there again. First, we check in and go to the room. The room was an icebox. I realize it's summer but I didn't expect a frigid room. So it was early evening and we changed and left for awhile. I turned the a/c down so it wouldn't be quite so cold when we returned. When we returned I was exhausted and laid down. The walls are paper thin and it was so noisy! I couldn't get the room temp regulated and spent a very uncomfortable night. The next morning I got up and stepped down on a wet floor. I walked across the room and slipped in a puddle of water. I have a bad knee so slipping is very painful. The a/c unit was apparently leaking. At this point I have had it and wanted nothing more than to get the hell out! I went to take a shower, at which point I realize there are no bath towels, only hand towels. I guess it was my fault for assuming the place would have supplied at least the basics in a room. Don't expect the little shampoos or even kleenex to be in the kleenex container either. So I shower, dry off with hand towels. At this point my boyfriend got up and went to the lobby to get coffee. Oh, sorry, we ran out of coffee. Unbelievable. Do not waste to your money here. We tried to get a place somewhere else before we booked here, but apparently something was going on because there weren't other rooms available. I can't in good conscience recommend this place that tries to save money by not supplying basic needs of their guests. By the way I'll try to post a pic of the water all over the floor. So fast forward to next morning. My boyfriend gets up early and heads downstairs as usual to get some coffee. He tells me after I wake up how when he went down there the woman from last night I talked to at the desk was nice to him also and asked us all about the issues we had. She was literally a light in this dark abyss called 'motel 6'. Anyways miss Rachel comes back to work this morning and starts rudely asking my boyfriend about the issues and telling him how we did wrong by not calling them?? (We could both definitely tell miss Rachel and the light in the abyss motel didn't get along to well). So miss Rachel Attitude talks my boyfriend away from the front desk because he's tired of arguing with her (again the customer is never right here) and he comes upstairs and tells me about all of this. We both head downstairs after a minute to go smoke (no smoking rooms here and don't forget it because that's something they definitely always remind you of). My boyfriend wants to walk the long way so he didn't have to deal with her again but I told him no were going down there. And so we walk our butts down the stairs and talk to miss Rachel and the owner, Mr. M. (I don't remember his name but M is short for mustache) so Mr. M asks us what problems we had. I calmly told him about the washer and how we had to walk. Miss Rachel made sure to butt in and say she gave me a refund for the washer AND the soap. Which I said yes she did. Then I just told him they should get it fixed and my boyfriend chimes in about the heater. Mr. M tells us we should've called the front desk at 3 am to either move rooms or go get a mini heater thing. So of course it was our fault all their stuff is broken. Mr. M asks miss Rachel if she offered to put my clothes in the big washer they have and she said yes of course she did. I stayed at the hotel as it convenient and cheap. Check-in was quick and problem free. The staff were friendly. The room itself was clean way better quality then i expected. Value for money. I would stay there again. read more
