The parking garage is conveniently located, easy to access, spots are reserved for guests & validated. On our return, the desk was still empty so we called as instructed. I was expecting it to be noisy on rolling up, but we were pleasantly surprised by the sound-deadening brick added to the walls. We slept great! The room temperatue didnt fluctuate wildly & the bed was comfy. We skipped breakfast we slept so well. If I were to really look for something to complain about, it would be that there were 3 decaf coffee pods & only one caffeinated. Yeah people, most folks who stay in hotel/motel rooms plan to sleep. I would not recommend anyone staying there unless you have packed ear plugs. Maybe the place should hand them out since they're aware this is a problem

The lobby boasts an enormous period-correct mosaic tile floor in earth tones. There's quite a lot of art ranging from kitsch to bronzes in the classical vein. Our suite had four rooms: a bedroom, a living room, a dining room with a sink/cabinets, and an armoire, and a bathroom. The decor is professional in a style you might call rural Americana but without quilts. Most of the walls are painted sage green and the outlet and switch covers match. The beds were firm, probably vintage, and reasonably comfortable. The bathroom has lovely multicolor granite tiles and a vintage table for a vanity. Don't be surprised if the floor in your room tilts - this place is old! When we stayed, the pillows could have used a refresh. And I'm not sure what the housekeeping schedule is, but we stayed three nights and there was no towel/turn-down service in that time. I'm reluctantly taking a star off for these two factors. The service is friendly, professional, and responsive. When we had a question but no one could answer the phone, they saw that we had called and called us right back!

Food, etc, you are basically on your own. No restaurants or anything. Each of those things merit a half star deduction in my mind, total of one down. I'd stay again.
