I am leaving a review for the south slope location. I went recently for the first time and was beyond satisfied with everything from the place itself, but most importantly the food. I only ordered and tasted the peach brioche it was out of this world insanely flavored. It was better than I expected, everyone else's food looked beautiful as well. It was morning so I didn't order a sandwich, I will be back and try that for sure. The food is just special there and I defiantly plan on returning many more times. I loved the small touches of fresh flowers and most of all the antique looking plates, I swear it makes the food more tasty!

The ham and butter sandwich is the best sandwich in Asheville. Simple, sumptuous, immaculate.

We stopped here before visiting the Biltmore, and while parking was a bit of a challenge, it was absolutely worth it. We ended up parking on the street up the hill near some residential homes, but don't let that deter you. One of the coolest parts was being able to watch the doughnuts being made right in front of us. There was a line when we arrived, and we waited about 15 minutes to order and another 10 minutes or so for our doughnuts. Even with the wait, I'd do it all over again. The doughnuts were incredibly fresh, warm, light, and fluffy. Every flavor we tried was delicious, but the vanilla glazed and the toasted almond sesame cinnamon were my favorite. If you're in Asheville, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

We enjoyed our warm perfect donuts while sitting inside watching other orders being made. They do offer coffee and other beverages. We just helped ourselves to the water station. Staff were beyond friendly and they seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. Thank you Hole for a great morning show and sweet treat. We will be back.

By the time we got there they were mostly sold out, but luckily the very last blackberry cream pastry was sitting there calling my name! My husband grabbed an iced chai too. OMG...I seriously can't stop thinking about that pastry. It was incredible. The best part was that it wasn't overly sweet, it was perfectly balanced and just so, so good. I'd make the trip back just for another one.

Everything we ordered was good and clearly well made, but nothing really stood out as something I'd go out of my way to come back for again and again. The chocolate chip cookie was the most memorable item, but not necessarily in the way I expected. It leans heavily into a salted dark chocolate flavor profile. If you close your eyes, it almost feels more like eating a salted dark chocolate bar than a traditional cookie. If that's your thing, you'll probably love it. Personally, I tend to look for a little more balance between the sweetness, chocolate, and salt in a cookie. Overall, a nice stop for pastries while walking around Asheville, but nothing that quite pulled me back for repeat visits.

She said it was the best shaved ice she's ever had and way better than any she even had in Hawaii. I was intrigued and suggested to my husband we stop by after dinner one night. This cafe is soooo cute. I'm here on vacation and trying not to work, but if i needed to work for a few hours I would definitely go here. I'd work and eat one dessert after another. The mango shaved ice was even better than expected. It was ginormous and I was full from dinner, but did a pretty good job eating most of it because it was too delicious to stop. My husband got a piece of blueberry cheesecake and i couldn't help, but have a few bites of that as well. I was hoping to make it back a second (or third) time, but sadly don't think we are going to have time. Another reason to come back to Asheville and it may just be my first stop!

Loved their menu as well. Although their mini cakes and other treats appealed to me as well, I opted to try their Taro Shaved Ice (they had 2 other flavors as well...think Mango and Mocha?). Well, their Taro Shaved Ice was PERFECT!!! The shaved ice was nice and dry, and the toppings (Boba, Lychee jelly, and Strawberries...even whipped cream on top) were generous and delicious! LOVED the place...and I can't wait to return! My husband will absolutely loved their version of Shaved Ice...What a treat to come!
