This place is just wow! Not many places have drinking chocolate and the options here are delish! I didnt have any of their EATING chocolate tho because I didn't have enough hands to carry it lol. I just grabbed a drink and popped out, but what an adorable place! It's so cozy and the people are so nice. I need to make a trip back so I can sit and sip (and eat!).

The chocolate crème brûlée was incredible! So creamy and sweet milk chocolatey. The shop is cute with lots of indoor seating and an outdoor patio area too. There was a line, but service was quick and friendly. The ice cream and truffles looked delicious too. I wished I had skipped dinner and just eaten 3 courses of chocolate here!

I stopped in to get some gelato, and it's good gelato! The price is kind of high for the amount they give you but that seems to be standard for gelato places. I really wanted to try some of the chocolates here, that will be for next time!

Stopped in for some chocolate and coffee. Wanted to take the tour but you have to sign up somewhere else. The chocolate factory. Go figure! Laid back, quiet place to enjoy a good cup of coffee and some kind of chocolate. I got a breve. Double shot with half n half. Tasty but should have added a shot of vanilla. Deb grabbed a affogato. Ice cream with espresso. Ok but a little bitter. Service was good and coffee was warm.

It's delicious! The selection is quite impressive and so tasty. The chocolate-dipped peanut butter cookie and the layers chocolate mousse were delicious. The truffles were great also. Hell, everything we tasted for that matter. The staff was friendly and moved through the line quickly. The hype is earned, and the chocolate lounge is the spot. Cheers!

Yeah, I'd still move in here if I could! My husband and I were in Asheville for less than 24 hours and I told him this was the only place I wanted to make sure we went before we started our drive back home. We were in a hurry so unfortunately out trip was only a to-go visit but I still got my fix! We stocked up on a few treats for the drive back (some truffles, caramels, a couple of bars) and a few baked goods (chocolate chip and chocolate ginger cookies), and I got a sipping chocolate of course! It was a bit hot out so I wasn't sure how the hot drink would do but it was still so so satisfying! Oh, I also got myself a fancy tart to enjoy in my PJs on my couch once we got home. Everything was as excellent as I remembered! There was a pretty significant line on a Sunday afternoon but it moved along at a pretty good clip and it gave me a moment to figure out what I wanted to get as well. The space is still super cute. I wish we could have spent more time but we'll carve out more time when we come to town next time. And I absolutely need to do the tour of the factory next time as well!

Ok, the treats here were insanely good and very well made. Asheville has one heck of a chocolatier in French Broad. The prices are a bit expensive, but this stuff is all have-made chocolates and sweats. They also had a gelato selection that looked amazing (did not try that). They had REAL hot chocolate that was purely chocolate. Again, expensive and only a shot-glass in size, but MAN was it delicious! A rare find and treat, but worth stopping and trying at least once!

If you like chocolate there are several options varying from cake, cookies, brownies, truffles and more. I enjoyed the creme brulee greatly and my latte paired well. Great sitting areas available and right next to the art museum. Stop by when you're looking for a sweet treat.

Service and ambiance was successful. I got a mini-scoop of Buddha, which was delicious with slight bitterness.

We came here for a dessert. I was surprised to see a creme brulee option and it was delicious. The chocolate was strong and not too sweet. It was warm and rich. The shop is quiet and offers coffee. The staff was nice.

The sipping chocolate is so rich! Tiny cup because 6oz is all you need. The chocolate drops they have are also great for gifting and they're very pretty looking. Pricey but worth it... I wouldn't snag the chocolate covered nuts though.. they've been there awhile and you can taste it.

What an absolute gem we found while walking around downtown. This place was incredible. They have all kinds of desserts - cakes, brownies, cookies, custards as well as all kinds of delicious chocolate. If you like chocolate (as I would expect you to if you're coming to a chocolate lounge), their drinking chocolates are the way to go. The liquid truffle was so rich and decadent. Served as 4oz, you might think it's not a lot, but a little bit goes a long way. Perfect afternoon treat. They also have packaged chocolate, so you knew we grabbed some of their bars to take home. Just as delicious when we ate it a week later. A lot larger inside than I expected. Plenty of seating space. We were lucky as no one was in line when we showed up. However, within 10 minutes, the line was over 30 people long and out the door. So this place can definitely get busy - be prepared to wait. That being said, it's definitely worth the wait.

Impromptu lunch turned chocolate bliss! We popped into French Broad Chocolates for a spontaneous midday treat and were absolutely wowed. The space is warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing over dessert and coffee. We sampled a decadent lineup: - Espresso Chocolate: bold and rich, a chocolate lover's dream - Cheesecake (Slice): creamy, tangy, and perfectly portioned - Chocolate Chip Cookie: crisp edges, gooey center--classic done right - Mocha Stout Cake (Slice): deep flavor with a hint of stout, beautifully balanced - Carrot Cake (Slice): moist, spiced just right, with luscious cream cheese frosting - Salted Caramel Brownie: indulgent and gooey with a perfect salty-sweet finish - Double Cappuccinos: smooth and strong, ideal pairing for the sweets Service was friendly and fast, and the presentation made everything feel special. Whether you're craving dessert or just need a cozy spot to recharge, this place delivers. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality, creativity, and a little indulgence in their lunch hour.

Does this place have wifi/is it a good place to do work?

I'm not sure if it has wifi but I wouldn't call it a good place to work regardless. It's a super busy, popular establishment. There are a bunch of other coffee shops downtown that would be better for working. I usually go to Odd's Cafe (West…

The day we went seemed to be short staffed, so things took longer than expected, but our experience overall was great. When they were ready for us, they guided us to the fitting rooms with showers. We were given shoes, robes, towels, and tote bags. There are no official lockers here, so you are welcome to take your tote with you into your private bath. The fitting room had everything you needed. When we were ready we had another long wait, but were invited to enjoy the sauna. They gave us refreshing mint iced washcloths for the sauna that I loved. They have a menu with a bunch of great add-ons, I decided to stick with the water, but my best friend got the coconut water. When our bath was ready, they showed us a map on how to get down to our soak. We walked down a beautiful hill path to our bath overlooking the forest. Even though we started late, they still gave us the full hour. The intercom system seems to be a bit older. There was an awkward moment where they tried to speak to us, but we couldn't hear them over the hot tub bubbles, when I went back to ask them what they said, they never replied. Besides that, we had a wonderful time. Be mindful that the drive up is a bit confusing, you'll want to do a mix of following their signs and your GPS. The experience is also a bit pricey for what it is, but I'm still glad I tried it with my best friend.

I experienced the tea side hot tubs outside and I didn't want to leave it was my favorite part of the experience along with the Savasana & Chea Massage Pods.
