And mind you, perhaps you'll get a better tasting batch of strawberries maybe? The stall is in a church's parking lot, I believe, although I parked on the street and walked over. Went around an hour before closing. It's $8 for a pound of strawberries, so definitely not cheap. Especially when you can get strawberries for roughly $2.5/lb at Costco or even as low as $2/lb at other stores. I have really fond memories of buying strawberries from Thacker Berries back in middle school, and them tasting AMAZING. I don't know if I need to wait until even later in the seasons, but these were marginally "better" if not equivalent to the strawberries I buy at any other supermarket. I don't consider the 4x pricing worth it. The real killer was when I was cutting my strawberries, and the first one which was really large and promising, essentially ended up being rotted all the way through... My experience was essentially the same when I bought strawberries from another of their booths a couple of years ago. There's nothing really that stands out that makes them worth the extreme upcharge. I cannot tell if the flavor/quality has dropped or if I need to wait until the weather gets even warmer. Not sure if I plan on trying them again after two expensive misses.

I am very irritated by the experience I had at Whole Foods today. While I was trying to look at the…read morecake selection, two employees were blocking the area, one girl with red braids and another employee facing us. Neither employee showed any social awareness as they engaged in non-work-related conversations. The girl with the braids repeatedly moved her long hair around without realizing that customers were standing directly behind her. If you work around food, please tie your hair back. As for the other employee who was facing us, if you see customers trying to access the cake section, please be considerate and move out of the way. Both employees were unnecessarily rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. This experience did not reflect the customer service standards I expect from Whole Foods. It happened at 11am on 9/7.

This location has a similar layout to my home store in Cerritos, with most/all items available. Yet, it seems more sterile & bland, which could be just in my head. Like all Aldi stores, there never seems to be enough cashiers, as checkout lines accumulate customers with accompanying wait times. Here's hoping self checkout lines are implemented by Aldi. I came in for a snack, and I purchased my snack. Aldi, the parent company of Trader Joe's, has great prices & easy to navigate stores. I much prefer shopping here, than someplace else, such as Albertson's or Vons. I'd visit again, if and when the opportunity presents itself.

Prices are reasonable to pricey depending on what you need. They give out free 'magazines' when your purchase exceeds a certain amount ($20?), and most of those have 10 percent off coupons for 'vitamins', which means you can't use them on other items, such as herbs. The have an open copy of a Natural Healing reference, which is useful, because most of the employees don't seem to know a lot about the products they sell. Beware the reduced product that has expired. I bought something that had a bad smell and something resembling fur on the tablets. I had to negotiate with the manager, who would not do a refund, but gave me what I spent on another item. Sprouts in Lakewood and Vitamin City in Long Beach are good alternatives.

I don't know where they're getting their product from but it doesn't seem to be very good quality and for $18 I can get 3 at my dispensary that don't explode.
