They ranged from a soccer/basketball court to a foam pit and there was even a space obstacle course. With socks that are provided by the facility, the kids had free range to bounce around, and bounce they did. Bubs enjoyed himself so much he took to lying down in the middle of the courses, he tired himself out so much. There is a small arcade area as well, but our kids seemed a bit too young for the games so we headed straight to the party room after our 2 hours of jumping. Here we had pizza and cake where the staff was supper sweet and tended to our kids great. Pizza wasn't half bad either. My niece gets a month of free jumping because she had her birthday there. I wouldn't mind coming back within the month to have Bubs jump with her again. It was a great way to get all the energy out of our kids and in all about that.

We arrived at the dock and were greeted by Clare who gave us a waiver to fill out and then went over the instructions, she also attached life vests on our paddles since I was concerned about the water. The water was very calm which instantly made me feel more comfortable, Clare gave us very simple instructions and had such an easy going attitude that I volunteered to go out first! She also explained that the water was quite shallow and even though I'm only 5 feet tall, I would be fine if I fell in. It was a small group of 3 so she was able to provide guidance to everyone. We had a great time gliding on the water and looking around the tall grass surrounding us. We stopped for a bit on the beach and Clare took pictures of us which was nice since we left our phones in the car. Everyone had a great time, if you're considering trying stand up paddleboarding then you should definitely try this place. We also met Joe at the end of the lesson and he was super nice. Location is great, in a marina with plenty of parking and a waterway that leads to the ocean. I wish the area we could explore was larger though. They gave us boards (which were quite wide and sturdy) and paddles, but neither were configured to the individual, everyone got the same of everything. Life jackets were not even given to us, I just saw them hanging on the side of the dock and grabbed one because I like to be extra safe on the water. That to me was a red flag that safety wasn't a high concern to this company. We were told some rules to follow as there were some jetty formations to avoid, and we were on our way. Quite relaxing on the waterway, and it was nice to be able to stop at a small beach right before the ocean. A guided group was going on at the same time, 2 of them went in the water the same time us. However when the other 2 of the group arrived, they made the first 2 people wait in the water - a little odd to me that they wouldn't wait for everyone to arrive before beginning. Both the owner and assistant were pleasant and helpful, but compared to other companies this was just ok. A great deal with the groupon though.

There was no demonstration, but it was easy enough to figure out that I started backwards on my board and the family was nice enough not to say anything about it (lol). We did a very short ride, an hour out in the water. The paddleboard and the paddle seemed well-maintained (not that I am an expert). The course they suggested was perfect as it gave us some time in the water. Because it was the height of the day, it was not very crowded out in the water, though I could see larger groups starting their rides by the time we came back to shore. It was a surprisingly pleasant experienced and I love that it's a family business. I would visit the Peconic Paddler again.

They helped us decide what would work best for our group. They gave us all life preservers and had us in the water and going within 5 min of arrival. Easy Peezy. You can go as long as you want or just do a quick float about. We did about a 2 mile trip, (took about 3 hours)we arrived at a small waterfall and the kids got to get out and play about a little. They loved it, don't forget your water shoes and your bathing suit. You cant really swim but you will get somewhat wet. Pack a lunch or go to the end where there is a spot to get out and grab and taco or some ice cream. Maybe both. The trip back went a little faster as you are going back with the current. If you are always wondering what to do with the kids ( of any age ) I highly recommend you try this place.

He was able to take 6 for a banana boat ride while 2 sat in the boat and took pictures. We had 11 people for the banana boat so he made 2 trips for us. Everyone had a great time from the youngest (5 yrs.) to grandma and grandpa. Keith was so accommodating to all the needs of our large group and everyone liked him so much. My husband and boys went fishing and caught a couple fluke. The boys were excited to catch a couple of crabs and robinfish as well. We definitely felt like VIPs and we will only use Fire Island VIP for our yearly vacation from now on! Thanks for a great time we all thought it was awesome!
