I've been a customer at Lynnwood Motoplex for years and they've always treated me great. I bought one of my Jet Ski from them a while back and the whole transaction was smooth, fast, and no pressure - exactly how it should be. Over the years they've helped me with a ton of parts and accessories for my boats and jet skis and motorcycles. They always have a solid stock of life jackets (which I really appreciate every season) and one of the best selections of boating and PWC gear in the area. Even though they no longer sell new Sea-Doos, they still keep a good inventory of Sea-Doo parts, which has saved me more than once. The location right in Lynnwood is super convenient, and their motorcycle showroom is awesome they always have a sweet lineup of bikes on the floor. I give a 0 star with a minus I got my first Bonanza mini bike in 1968 and got my first M/C in 1970 at Klein Honda in Everett. My Story. Went into the Service Dept at Lynnwood Moto today, asked young girl at desk if they could test the ignition coil I had in hand. She politely asks what it is and I answer. She says she does not know but her boss may. Just then a big guy, shaved head, appears. Her boss, (for the sake of any rider, hopefully not the service mgr.) She asks can we test this pointing to the object... no response he just stands there... can we test this? Now he says what is it? Simultaneously we answer "an ignition coil". He pauses a second then without even looking at it says "it's fine, ignition coils never go bad" My reply was that the last one did. Pause "yeah we can test it... but not today,... maybe next week" Why is that I ask? "cuz we're closing in 20 minutes" end of conversation. The trouble started when the phone tree is run by an AI agent that doesn't know what its doing. So i stopped in, at least 6 employees avoided eye contact or even greeting me, i checked out the gear and while it was an ok selection the clothing dude ran off to hide after helping another customer. If you're a woman, i'd suggest shopping anywhere else and if you hate AI, avoid calling them, who knows what else they're cutting corners on. read more

Overall pretty good! Sale: got a CFmoto here and surprised they are the only dealer in the area. The close price was 3000 more than the price on tag, not super pleasant but acceptable especially during this motorcycle hot season in Seattle. Enjoy talking with Garret every time, he shared a lot of facts and views to motorcycle noob like me. Service: was scared by lots of horrible comments, and was a bit impatient to ask for status about my bike. Had some aftermarket stuffs want them to install for me, and thought my bike has some shifting problems. Turns out my bike works good and they are honest about it and did not charge me for that part. They also told me they verified it by several persons which sounds pretty reliable. Then they installed all what I want and brought the labor time down which is great. Extra scene: When ride to home after picked up, the shift bar attached to the foot pad loosen off when exiting the highway, was scared but managed to move my bike to the emergency lane at the sixth gear, and installed the tiny bar by myself using hand and kept riding. Would be good to have them check it throughout, but not their misses since I forgot to tight it back when rolled my bike to the shop. read more

I needed a battery for my KLR and could have gotten it cheaper online, or from other stores further away but decided to get it quickly by going local here. I called ahead early in the day and asked for it to be charged up when I picked it up at the end of the day to which they said you got it. I picked it up at the end of the day and brought it home to find out that the battery had no acid in it at all and it had not been charged. I took it back the next day and then was able to pick it up the day after that. I hate Amazon but even that would have saved me multiple trips and a good bit of money in a 23yr old's pocket. I bought my Yamaha boat from Lynnwood and have used their dockside service several times since. They've always responded promptly and courteously, and went above and beyond when my boat flooded over the winter and neither engine would start. Although this type of service normally requires bringing the boat to the shop, their technician John came to my dock and was able to restore both engines to service and correct an issue with the cover that contributed to the original problem. Pricing was reasonable and the service was fast and accurate. I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

***Please Read** Before Buying From this Business** I bought a brand new boat and Seadoo last year and both had recall notices that were not made aware to me. Both the boat and Seadoo were unusable for most of the summer after spending over 100K. Brought the boat in for recall service and now they are charging me over $1500 for the drive train that was on recall. This place is crooked and I am pursuing a lawsuit. Brad, Service manger does care about any concern and wont return calls. My hope is that this place goes out of business because no consumer should be treated this way. Managers and Owners do not care. I recently purchased a new KTM and there was a issue with a gas leak spraying gas on the hot catalytic converter. I had to get trailered home with 80 miles on odometer. Working with the Dealer Lynwood Moto was a joke. At one point I had left 3 messages and stayed on hold indefinitely with poor communications from Service Manager Chris. I described how unhappy i was with service and wanted to meet with manager, How convenient no managers at the store today. i incorrectly assumed i would at least get a call, silence from Lynwood. Worst experience of any shop, front to back! Had purchased two Yamaha scooters from them. Wasn't an senjoyable experience, but set that aside. I wanted an Indian and they were the dealer. I bought it, and the problems started. Paid in full, including purchase of a bunch of additional accessories. Left the bike with them, until the parts came in and we're installed; all part of the purchase agreement. Was called, saying it was ready. They took me to the bike, handed me the keys and said ready to go. I thought it was a joke, then reminded them of all the parts I bought. They looked it up, wandered away, then brought back a cart full of boxes. "Here are the parts." My ride had left me, on the assumption that I'd ride my bike home. They had my money, and no interest in installing the parts; all standard bolt-on stuff; windshield bag, pannier trim 2 weepieces, etc. After realizing that no amount of arguing would make a difference, I agreed to take the bike, and come back for the parts later. Obviously, couldn't strap all the boxes on the bike. He took it out back, and said "there you go." No new-bike orientation, nothing. Fast forward. Took the bike on a 8,000 mile cross-country ride. In route, I'd snagged a deer that bent the crash bar to it vibrated slightly against the foot pad. I'd had it service in Pasco on my way back, expecting a bad experience at Lynnwood Motoplex. But it didn't hvae them check a bad bearing sound from the front axle, so took it to Lynnwood. After a week, they said it was ready. When I arrived, the bill was $175, and the problem hadn't been fixed. They said - get this... We couldn't diagnose it because of the vibration of the engine cage against the foot pad. And they wouldn't release it until I paid the $175. Who knows what that was for; it wasn't explained. I asked why they couldn't simply put a small piece of rubber between the bar and foot pad to get ride of the small vibration. No answer. Just pay up and go away. I could keep going. Other stories about mind-boggling bad service, across all departments, sales, service, parts. I LOVE the Indian bike. Have had many dozens of bikes over many decades; Harleys, BMWs, Kawasaki, Hondas, Yamahas. The Indian was my favorite. Beautiful weight and balance, and far better engineering than my Harley. But... I sold it. The many oil changes and minor services I get along the iron-butt ride proved that all Indian dealers are the same (except the Pasco WA dealership, which is GREAT); nothing special about the Indian to them. It's all part of the Polaris group, and you're no different than all the other customers they have. Get in line.". Literally, that was the response when I stopped at one dealer along the way with an issue. Get in line meant leave it with them for 2 weeks before they had an opening to deal with it. I really miss my Indian. But it's not worth the nightmare. Bottom line: Stay away from Lynnwood Motoplex!! ...unless of course, you think they'll recognize how special you are. read more

I am terrible with names but believe it was Jeremy who stopped the guy that was helping me and got more clarification on what I was asking. He then explained they had given me the wrong part number that did not even go to my bike. He took me on the floor to show me an example of of what I was needing for clarification!! After letting them know I had the parts that were need for the install and only needed the install they came back and told me they would have to charge me for an additional hour of labor. Maybe they did figure the labor wrong but it looks to me that they are just trying to get more money out of me. They were also suppose to call me after talking to the service manager and never did. Just got a text telling me to come pick up my Seadoo. If I didn't have a service contract I'd take my business somewhere else. My salesman David was very easy to work with and had a wealth of product knowledge. This place has absolutely the worst service department I have ever encountered. I went to Motoplex the summer of 2018 to get new tubes and tires for my 2012 KLR 650. Ben was very helpful in helping be pick out the best tires for my riding style, but the good service stopped there. I scheduled a date two weeks out for them to work on my bike. They said it would only take a day or two. Well after waiting to bring my bike in for two weeks, it took them an entire week to install my new tires. This bike is my daily commuter, so one to two days versus a week makes a difference. In the process, they called me and said they forgot that they needed to replace the tubes too and hadn't included them in the quote. So they tacked on an extra charge I wasn't paying for originally. When I finally got home with my bike and it's new tires, I realized that THEY INSTALLED MY FRONT TIRE BACKWARDS. I immediately called them and told them they needed to fix it. I set up a day with them to bring it in after work, and after another hour of my life waiting on their mechanic, they had finally gotten my tires on right (or so I thought). Fast forward about a month: I am now moved back into college on the other side of the state. I realized that my front tire (the one they had to reinstall after putting it on backwards) had a slow leak that rendered my tire flat in about a months span. I checked and tightened my valve stem but that did not solve the problem. So I kept my bike in storage for the remainder of college and I dealt with filling it up every few weeks when I would take it out for a short ride to run some fuel through the carb so it didn't get gummed up. I only put about 100 miles on my bike during school. And there was no way I could get my bike to this side of the state for them to correct this mistake too. I have since graduated from college in 2019 and just moved back to town yesterday. I went in today to ask them to fix my problem and they wanted me to pay them $70 to "take a look at it" when it was likely their mechanic who pinched the tube when he was putting the tire on for the second time after he put it on backwards the first time. They refused to show any leniency or accept that they are likely at fault for my leaking tire since it has been a problem since they replaced it (twice). I am taking my business elsewhere and you should too. read more

WHERE'S MY TITLE! Bought a snow bike from this dealer that was on consignment. Paid in full and after 60 days they have not been able to provide me with a title. They took my money and now act as though the title process is an inconvience. The owner told me he did a quick title change this morning. I called the DMV to verify and was told by the DMV that a quick title is not an option for a snow bike and there has not been any ownership changes on this vehicle. Also, a dealer has 45 days to file the proper paperwork. I was referred to a dealership investigator and may now need to contact a lawyer to get this resolved, as the title is not even in the dealership's name. read more

Make an appointment 10 days in advance for a power drain concern and bring it in first thing on a Saturday. Its busy but not crazy. They close at 5, so after hearing nothing I check in at 3:30. "Bike not done but 'being looked at now'". Shops get backed up, so okay, though would he nice to get some feedback on when completion of a bike will be same day you bring it in- I get that things can come up, maybe you gotta order parts, but today/tomorrow/next week for the initial check is kinda basic customer service. No callback to let me know they'd hold it over Sunday/Monday but I guess not getting a callback before close makes that obvious? So, Bad customer service but we're not at a low star review- yet. Tuesday comes, at work I realize its afternoon and still have no idea what if anything is being done to bike. Call at 12:30 leave message asking for feedback on timing (still tracing the drain? Waiting on a part? Can't see a problem? Your guess is as good as mine). After second call of the day and 4th call in overall for status we're now in bad review territory. A simple "we're still working on it and will update you around X time" likely woulda helped not having such a crappy Yelp rating as I add one more low score to the mix. It's palacial. I like that the used bikes out front were all clearly tagged with their prices. Inside, it was clean and well-orgaized...packed with gorgeous machines. Entering the shop, the receptionist looked-up and briefly acknowledged me. Except for the guy who had just finished cleaning the restroom, that was the last human contact I had. "It's all yours..." he said. It was and it was not cleaned. Impressive. Evidently, the employees have never been introduced to the "Ten Feet Rule". Several employees walked by me and ignored me. Even the 3 guys behind the Parts Counter, who were chatting amongst themselves, failed to give me even the most brief nod of acknowledement. Wandering around the expansive shop for 15 minutes, it was like being invisible. Interesting. A shoplifters paradise? Or, perhaps that's how one gets some hapless mouth-breathing employee's attention? Go all furtive, wear shades, a hoody,and act suspicious.....? Having worked in several motorcycle shops, I was super surprised, and disappointed, that not one person offered to assist me. As far as I could determine, I was the only customer in the place!!! "Helllloooo...?" So, it's not that they're overrun, and don't have the time, because there have TOO MANY customers. There are not too many...and that's no surprise. I was told that they would have one for me in three weeks; details all worked out and trade in value on my old Sea-Doo all settled plus a $500 dollar deposit. Four weeks later I called and was told it would now be the end of April, beginning of May. So beginning of May rolls around, I still have never been communicated with, and I call. I recently bought a bike there, was a used one but I loved it and so I turned in my other bike. My wife had initially check this biz out, as she wanted a Can Am Spyder, which we later bought at the competition in Mt. Vernon Polaris/BRP/CanAm aren't very plentiful in West WA. Reason for us not buying it there was plain and simple, the version model and color I wanted for my wife wasn't in stock, so their webpage indicated, so why bother and double check, right? Well turned out, we could have saved us another 60 miles of drive, but that's besides the point. If it wasn't for the financial guy, I eventually would have walked out of this joint that dis and mad I was. Well here's the story, So I'm approached by a sales guy, one thing I truly cannot stand, so I tell him my standard answer, I'll get with you if I want something from you, other words, bug off fella!! You are taking up my space. The bike is quite dirty from staying outside, but I'm a gear head, so I look beyond this matter. I ask the guy if I could test ride this bike and he preps it for it. After I rode it, I told him, okay here's the deal, I'll turn in my other bike and I will pick this bike up in a few days from now. Said and done, my wife and I appear at the shop, she needs a service done on her CanAm so this just comes handy. He shows me the numbers, the price for my bike, surprises the heck out of me, but I'm okay with it, as I want that other bike. So I tell this guy, you increase my turn in price by $300 and we've got a deal, he says he will check with his boss. Said and done, he comes back, just for me to find out, the bike's price I want just got increased by $200, as my asking price for my bike was increased by $300... so I challenge him and it will get fixed. In the meanwhile my wife's trike is still standing outside and the guys tell me, well it has to cool down for about 2 hours.... I say, say what? I'm riding bikes fro some time now, I know for a fact, a ridden bike, will cool down within the hour. So back to the waiting area. The finance guy comes and we can close the transactions, he offers us a service plan for my wife's trike, as this can be quite costly, given a almost @30K sale price, well we tell him, we don't like the numbers he's presenting and he walks off to his boss. A bit later he offers us a $500 discount on the contract and we agree to it. As we after 5 hours finally nearing the end, my wife gets a bill presented... we, say what? We just bought the service plan, so this should be free, another 15 mins go by and this gets finally resolved. Now we've got peak traffic ahead of our 90 mile run and indeed this run will take 3 hours, as we will bump in to every darn traffic jam you can experience on I405 and I5 ARGH..... The sales guy tells me, the bike is filled up, cleaned and serviced and good to go...... Well taking his word for granted we take off, just to find my tank gauge to drop after 5 miles in to our run home... turns out, I have to refill this bike after 60 miles and I'm fuming about it WTH did that guy tell me for a tale... Well after this refill I go back to the expected 42 miles/gallon and not 20 miles as just experienced, so I can rest my case. I spend an afternoon elbow grease and spit shine this bike and I'm darn proud of it, she's a beauty and all I was hoping for. Yet here's my complain. The sale guy is just wanting to make a sale and doesn't give a damn, that he might loose a customer who's coming back. The only plus I see so far is, that we got a 3 year service contract for an outstanding price, else this joint is less than I was hoping for, which is very frustrating, as CanAm dealers here in West WA are few and far in between. read more

I made a appointment for my rhino for some service work, I was told bring it in dec 17th because they had to order parts. 2 weeks go by and I drop it off for my app December 17th. 2 weeks go by and I was only getting doors and wheel spacers put on, so I call and " oh ya um well we haven't started on it because the wheel spacers are back ordered" hmm oh so it's been 4 weeks now and not even a courtesy call, are the doors on yet? Kyle: doors, no because who ever dropped it off told my guy you didn't want doors. Me: oh well "your guy is full of shit that's the whole reason we brought it there. I then ask Kyle what happen to the conversation we had early December that you were going to order the doors to bring it the 17th. Ohhhhh Kyle says ya the doors are here there on the shelf, so i hang up angry and on the phone to call Arlington instead and I was going to pick up my rhino and take my business elsewhere. Kyle calls back while The phone to Arlington is ringing I answered and then I'm told ohh my parts guy is going to run to another store in BFE to grab the spacers your rig will be ready Tuesday. Tuesday comes we head to pick it up and ohh it's not ready it'll be a couple hours, so I call and check and now I'm told ohh we're really busy with emergencies hahahaha oh dear lord that's a good one. My husband did say when he finally picked it up Kyle is a good guy, his boss and "the my guy" however is the issue, I purchased 2 brand new dirt bikes from this shop a few years ago with gear, and I can guarantee you I will never be back. Called to schedule service appointment for a Stage 2 PWC, sharing all upgrades added to the ski prior to drop off. Service department was not able to determine issues with the ski - I would have been ok with this if the ski was operable when it was returned to me. When I took the ski in - it ran, but not at full speed, when it was returned it would not operate. When I spoke with Chris (Service Manager) his only response was this was a "highly modified" ski.
