Awful service department. Awful parts department. They don't honor online prices, and will mark up prices by as much as 50%. You'll pay a lot of money for subpar repair work. On the whole, the place is a dishonest operation, run by dishonest people. Recommendation: Go to an independent Harley-Davidson mechanic for service and shop online for parts. I'd pretty much go to any other HD dealership in the area if necessary, even though they're all pretty terrible. Sound Harley should close up and disappear forever. read more

I'm gonna begin with the service department: this department is by far one of the best I've ever been to and in all honesty it's the only place I'll take my Harley for service. There's a great pride in what they do their knowledgeable and their experts. Ash, Ray, The rest of the crew are phenomenal. Their manager is fantastic. Assistant manager and the service writers are phenomenal. Clothing/Apparel: the ladies over there are phenomenal the great. They'll take their time work with customers on their wants and needs. Parts and accessories: Another great Department with a fantastic manager. Sales: Sales does a great job fitting customers to bikes are interested in. Never seen Sales fit by the name of Eric. The facility is beautiful, but no signage from the road to find where it is tucked in between two auto dealers. It's hard to find they have a great selection of bikes. Here's where everything goes wrong. I was interested in a bike and they asked what if we can't do the deal, what's a different bike that you might like? I'm like OK you have the bike and I have the money why the heck couldn't we do this deal? Next they break out the old-fashioned foursquare sheet and ask you a bunch of stupid questions. They come back with their offer of four grand over list price, $1000 dealer set up fee WTF and other hidden fees all over the place like $1000 security option that's mandatory. I told him I'm just gonna walk that is absolutely ridiculous. Then they came back with at least price but all the hidden fees still there so I walked and of course the salesman runs out with another deal on a Post-it note and says this is for today only. Bought a 2014 Tri Glide ultra classic with 3500 miles on it. Paid extra for warranty to cover tires, and mechanical for two years. Received it on a rainy day, they offered no gear, at the time of purchase. I paid just over $29,000.00 cash. They told me I had to have new tires put on and had to go through service and detailing before I could have it. So I get it home and woke up the next day to clean the trike from riding home in the rain. Only to notice gouges in all of my rims from the tire change, the sad part is you could clearly see that the gouges were new. Called them and then took it down to them only for them to tell me that if I left it there for a few days so they're detail guy could see what they could do with it. The factory rim has a profile to the rim, and the gouges are deeper than the factory finish. I was also told by the shop manager that the tire machine broke down two days after they did mine, you would think that after paying almost $30,000.00 in cash for it that they would have put new ones on, instead of telling me to let them have it for god knows how long to get it fixed. I've taken it to three different detailing companies who said that it couldn't be fixed, isn't that why a company has insurance for? Bottom line is I don't feel like sound Harley has your best interest in their business dealings read more

I have been a all season rider for years, and finding a good set of gloves that are actually %100 water proof and warm is a challenge. The heated gloves are not my point of interest either. I was surprised to find the perfect pair of gloves that Faith showed me for only $100. Right after I left the dealership there was a heavy rain, and with it being 50 degrees out it wasn't enjoyable. However with the new gloves I got I was able to jam with a smile on my long ride home. If it wasn't for Faith's help I'm sure that I would have hung up the towel on trying to find another set of gloves and suffered. She was very kind, and knowledgeable on any questions I had. Showed up only to support a friend buying a Low Rider ST working with Cam, and Cam was great offered drinks, was down to earth, and talked about bikes while waiting for the appraisal on my friends trade in. They only had one Low Rider ST, and I had been interest in one for a while, but was on the fence about the price. Was standing around looking at the 883 for the wife, and Billy walked up introduced himself and I told him I was just here for a friend buying a bike. We started talking about bikes he was feeling out what I was interested in, and brought up the fact they had another Low Rider ST. It was still in the back and needed to be built. I said verify it can be built today, and we can talk numbers. He goes back comes out and says it's missing a bushing for the risers, but we can source one and have it ready today! 15 minutes later one of the service guys comes out and says we got it and putting it together now. Started up working numbers, they worked with me, and we found a good balance. They introduced me to the whole team, adjusted the bars for me, and got everything set up for the road. As I was getting ready to leave I noticed a scratch on the windscreen brought it up to billy. He immediately filed for a warranty to get a new screen, called the next day to let me know it was on order, and he would let me know when it shows up. Sum it up. Great experience working with them, and the team seems genuinely invested in creating a good relationship with each purchase. Plus the dealership has a nice building and layout with lots of accessories and gear to choose from. read more

The employees they have working there are really rude they watch you like your stealing me personally had 3 employees follow me around and kept staring at me. I went to Sound Harley Davidson with the goal to surprise my husband of 30 years with a Harley. I had heard about this particular dealership through word of mouth in addition to observed my husband surf through the website, drooling over their amazing stock of every kind of bike you could ever imagine. I had quietly taken notes from some of the key "wants" of my spouse & had a list. I immediately met Eddie, my salesperson, and found him to be very sincere, not pushy, knowledgable and, most of all ,extremely patient, as I was obviously clueless about bikes with the exception of a love to ride on the back with my husband. I gave him my list, explained to him what I needed and within the next 15 minutes had the perfect bike to surprise my husband. This was completely painless due to Eddie's expertise in the bikes available-he was not demeaning with my ignorance, his communication was excellent, no nail biting, no tears and within 2 hours, my Hubby and I were the proud new owners of a 2022 Street Glide Special. This does not have to be and should NEVER be an an obnoxious, stress-provoking process as it usually is when purchasing say an automobile. It is imperative to find the right person, as I did with Eddie, who can clear the bs from the path and get you where you need to be, kindly and efficiently. I had put this off, wasting good riding days this summer, due to not wanting to be irritated, but don't think a day will go by that I will waste again. Well this is my first negative review for this. I went in to look at a newer bike. The first one I looked at was an 07 Electra glide. It road nice but wasn't really what I wanted. So the sales guy brought out an 2012 road glide. Never road one before so I thought I would give It a ride. Didn't make it three blocks before the bike tried to tear the bars outa my hands. So I turned around went back to Sound Harley where I told the sales guy about the death wobble. He said the service guys will look it over an take it for a ride to see what's wrong. So I waited in the show room. The sales guy comes back 30 minutes or so later says the serive guts said its ready to go. I was happy. I really liked the blue metallic paint. So I got my helmet an started down the road. Didn't make it more then three blocks again. It has death wobble. So I turned around took the bike back to Sound Harley. I walked in the service department doors an asked the tech behind the counter who test rode the road glide an said it was ready. He responded we had the wash boy check it out. Now at this point I got angry. What kind of dealership especially a Harlaey dealership puts a wash boy on death wobble? So I told them if they wanna kill someone that way they should have thier staff die not customers on bent bikes. I WILL NEVER BUY NOR HAVE ANYTHING SERVICED AT SOUND HARLEY. The sales staff is great the service department CAN NOT be trusted. I hope an pray nobody gets hurt trying to ride one of thier bikes. read more

Brought a 2008 Ultra Classic in for diagnose and repair ABS on my bike. The guys had the bike for several hours before they claimed that a previous servicer had over torqued the rear wheel which interfered with the wheel speed sensor which they claimed to have fixed. They indicated a need for brake fluid flush and replace the front master cylinder cap and seal which I had them do. Initial ride on the bike there was no indication of a problem with the ABS. On the next ride the ABS light on the dash indicated a fault. Brought the bike back in for further "diagnostics" after 4 hours they said "it may be damaged wheel speed sensor" also said I should replace the bearings at the same time. Meanwhile I had produced a letter from Harley Davidson to original owner of the bike which indicated a front wheel speed sensor wiring defect causing a wire break at the headset under the fairing. I asked at the service desk if they had investigated the possible wire break as described by Harley Davidson and the response was that issue was unknown to them and so they did not look into it. Despite documents from Harley Davidson describing the issue and a claim form to submit for expenses to repair. They were unwilling to investigate the possible cause. I left Sound Harley very disappointed in the staff and service. I will not be using Sound Harley service again. Rating negative 2 stars. read more

BUT, turned in my bike for service and rework from a stage 4 build and then they closed down and didn't even bother to let me know ahead of time of this. Let me start by saying I really enjoyed my experience in this store. I rode sport bikes for years and was looking for something to cruise around on that would be different. I didn't end up getting anything from this store, but they left a great impression on me. So much that I wish other places were like that. What I mean is they take their time to show you around and teach you about their product. After you are finished, I received a call the next day thanking me for coming by the store. A few weeks later one more telling me about a promotion and asking if I was still in the market. At that point I had already bought a product from a different line, but I have to say their bikes are beautiful. I'm sure I will be back one day and end up with one in my garage.
