They knew just what I was looking for, and guided me in the direction I should go in terms of style, power, and ability level. I took a couple weeks to think it over, and ended up purchasing one. Nick and Zach on the sales floor are extremely knowledgeable and answered all my first-timer questions. They were very patient with me as it took me a few weeks to figure out a way to trailer it home. (Didn't want to ride it 120 miles right out the gate). Cole in the finance department was also really helpful in explaining cost breakdown and extra coverage options. Overall I felt very satisfied, not pushed into making this decision. No regrets. If I could give them a negative rating I would. I just got a Honda Goldwing from this place two weeks ago. Now the bike needs $3,000 of work done to it so I can get it running again. The ECU crashed, the rear break needs to be rebuilt, the oil, raidator fluid and rear master cylinder were ALL low. If I were you, id stay the heck away from this scam. read more

I have friends that have bought and sold bikes and had a relatively good experience over the last two years though they've become rude, condescending and arrogant. They are not good sales people they treat customers like shit anymore it is truly disgusting. Truly outstanding service. I was looking to purchase a KTM 1290 Super Adventure S from Motorado but at the last minute (due to being able to test ride an "R" model locally and finding out it fit me much better) I changed my mind and decided to look for the same motorcycle but in the "R" model. Here is what Doug at Motorado was able to do for me. Now, I'm not saying they do this for everyone, but Doug knocked it out of the park! Since I live in Los Angeles and was not able to make the trek to purchase the bike myself, Doug was able to take the bike for a ride and confirm it's condition. He mentioned the great things about it, tested all gears, shifting, power and ride. He also told me the TPS sensor was tripped, likely because the temp had dropped significantly since the intake of the bike, as well as the maintenance light, due to time passing (KTM's have a time or travel indicator for maintenance so which ever comes first). Doug was honest, told me all he knew about the bike and if it weren't for my 6' 3" frame I surely would have bought this bike from Motorado. Buying a bike unseen is not something I'm accustom to and rarely consider such a venture but I would have bought this bike, sight unseen from Motorado and I would have been 100% comfortable doing it. I decided to go on a 2500 mile trip to California and back. I have a Ninja 400 but realized rather quickly that I'd need a bigger, more comfortable bike to make it that far. So I began my hunt for bike #2. Motorado caught my attention. I'm not a fan of hidden fees at dealerships, but Motorado is "what you see is what you get." I went down to look at a Triumph Tiger 800. I talked with an associate, who was genuine, kind and knowledgeable. He told me that Motorado is a third party that helps individuals sell their bikes. I had several questions, which he did a great job answering. The sales associate mentioned some of the maintenance that Triumphs need every 12k miles. We both realized the bike was at 24k and that it probably needed a bit of work before a long trip (including a new back tire). In an effort to help offset some of the maintenance cost they lowered the price for me, set me up with their mechanic at Imperial Sportsbike and got me on my way. 2500 miles later and I'm in love with the bike. It reliably withstood altitude changes, weather patterns and took me through mountains, deserts, rain and shine. I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a bike or want to trade up, I highly recommend Motorado. I know I'll be back to expand my collection. read more

As a Consignment Dealer, Motorado has an obligation to the sellers of the motorcycles to accept the top dollar for their client's property. In my experience, Motorado failed at this. I put an offer on an MV Brutale for my collection. I then waited a WEEK to hear if my offer was accepted, declined, or counteroffered. I looked on the website today to see that there is now a pending sale. I contacted the salesman, and he said it was sold. In the situation of multiple interested buyers, Motorado failed to even ask me if I would pay more than the other buyer. The seller likely could have received more money for the Brutale. In my opinion, Motorado did not look out for the best interest of its selling client. read more

Went in today with the intention of purchasing a softail deluxe. On arrival i was not greeted, I had to approach someone to guide me through the maze of bikes they have jammed into this tiny building. Once directed to the bike I was told to "check it out and sit on it or whatever" and then whatever employee it was just walked away. After I decided that I didn't like how I was being treated and didn't want to give them my money I started walking out and I was finally yelled at across the building if I needed anymore help. I bought my first ktm there the bike Didn't start it needed a battery spark plug tires grips drained radiator had water in it oil change tires but it needed the fuel injection tuned 1000 later its for sale. I tried to return it I was told they don't work on bikes. The owner reached out to me then disappeared. Go figure. So not knowing anything about dirt bikes what I did learn was buy from someone that can fix a problem. read more

So..... I don't write a ton of reviews. But when I do there is usually a huge "WHY" behind it. It seems mediocre is the norm these days and service is none existent. My siblings and I have been scouring the web for bike to get our Father. We found one we liked on Craigslist which happened to be being sold here at Motorado inLakewood, Colorado. So I called them up to see if I could get some info on the bike. I live in California and wanted the purchase the bike there since that is were my dad lived. Zach called me back the very next business day. I missed his call and was connected with Chance. Both these guys are just ridiculously helpful. They BOTH went above and beyond to answer the slur of ridiculous questions I had about the bikes I had in question and help guide me to choose the perfect bike for my dad. They send me pictures and videos and gave me every little detail knowing that I could not be there myself. I spent nearly 3 days being extremely difficult and both of them were patient, helpful and went above and beyond to exceeded my expectations. I was able to secure the bike sight unseen with out any unreconcilable commitment. They arranged to have my other family members go and pick it up, and even checked in with me on a daily basis for an entire week to make sure things were in order so that the sale would go smoothly. Let me tell you, Buy a bike from a dealer out of state and not being able to there is not easy! But this was seriously the smoothest transaction I have ever had. They made sure we got all the extras we needed and all. I can guarantee you I will never have a better experience. Chance Wolford, You're the man. I could never thank you enough. If I would give this business no stars I would. They advertised a motorcycle my buddy was interested in buying for a set price. Later that day, I saw two adds on Craigslist, same bike with two different prices so we took the add into them and instead if doing the right thing, they claimed they had the wrong picture on the listing. Staff is not helpful at all and I feel this company is baiting and switching. They offer pennies on the dollar for your trade-in and mark it up ridiculous amounts. Your money and your time would be better spent somewhere else. read more

Very dissatisfied with the customer service provided. As directed by website, I requested additional photos of a motorcycle of Interest. I received a reply from Justin Lopez to send a contact number to have additional photos text to my number. The request came back undeliverable. I reached out to Justin Lopez by phone. I posted the inventory number of the motorcycle of Interest as I did not remember the exact model, but was certain of the inventory number.His reply was : "I do not remember inventory numbers" and requested that I provide the series which I did not recall. All Justin needed to do is to write down the inventory number and match it with the appropriate motorcycle. Too lazy or disrespectful is how I interpreted the conversation. Came up from the Springs to buy a bike from Motorado. I was helped throughout the week by Shaun. Worked out a great deal over the phone and told him I would be coming by over the weekend to check it out. I was a little worried about the bike being sold while I was waiting for the weekend, so I was going to put in the $500 deposit to reserve it. However, Shaun assured that the bike will be mine as long I'm interested. Showed up and the bike was exactly how I expected. I decided to complete the deal, I was in and out of the store within an hour. The bike had a major scheduled service done to it recently as well. I had asked Shaun if he could send me a copy of the service records since he knew the previous owner. I honestly wasn't expecting to get them, but Shaun did follow up and provided the service records a few days later. So they didn't meet my expectations, they surpassed it. This review is regarding Motorado and their consignment practice and their team. Before I arrived at the shop I had some concerns regarding consignment for my particular type of motorcycle and my particular situation. My concern was that I would get to the shop and find out they were not interested in my motorcycle for any and all reasons related to my specific motorcycle. I knew my motorcycle was attractive and sellable and that to me is all a consignment shop should be concerned with too. But my experience when trying to do consignment, as I was going across country in Utah and beginning to consider consignment, is that many shops concern themselves with how the buyer perceives the shop as being the seller if something goes wrong with the product. Thus, if a shop is open to the concept of consignment they want the motorcycle to have very specific criteria that may ostracize your motorcycle based on mere whim like it being 'off-brand' (not a Harley Davidson etc). But this is not the case with Motorado. When I entered Colorado, and was determined to get rid of the motorcycle and bus the rest of my journey cross country, I found that on the Motorado website they state they are 'the only consignment shop in Colorado'. To me Motorado was a God-send, not only because I had finally had enough driving the 200cc motorcycle across country states from California, but because I did not need to shop around calling other shops to see if any shop would consider consignment. Yes, Motorado was the first and only shop I called in Colorado because they were the first in the area I was in going towards Denver to take a greyhound bus. But I'm confident that what their website actually should say is that they are 'the only REAL consignment shop in Colorado'. They said they move a lot of inventory and I believe them as the process was very efficient for high volume. It was just my kind of place. Another concern was that I would not be in the state at the time they sell it for me to a customer. Talia was the person who answered the phone and she assured me it would not be a problem and to just come down to the shop. Well she wasn't just saying that to get me down there. They in fact allowed it no problem provided I gave them the title. This was great for my situation. Talia also was informative in that she said what the expected commission would be for motorcycles priced in a certain bracket. This was refreshing as opposed to playing a guessing game and being hit with an unreasonable commission fee after they got me through the door. When I did get down to the shop I was greeted by Chance a sales representative who walked me through the process. He was knowledgeable and informative and I believed he had my best interest in mind despite it being a flat fee for commission. He explained to me that his initial price quote for advertising was based on his research of the motorcycle and that it was a good starting point for my type of motorcycle but that the lower end price would be of last resort. This made me feel my best interests were being kept in mind because he would not be unworkable with a customer in order for him to get a higher commission. Again, he is working on a flat fee, not a percentage. There was another gentleman who may have been a sales representative there as well with Chance who assisted us and was kind and he was the one who made sure the very practical need after all the paperwork was done was for me to not forget to turn over the key. He likely saved me an annoying trip back or me having to mail them the key. Rebecca was the back office document reviewer/processor. She too was knowledgeable and informative. I was comforted in her further showing how streamlined the consignment process is for them. And as streamlined and straightforward the process was, she, like Chance, took her time with me to cover all the bases and answer all my questions. Rebecca and Chance and the team overall, embodied the streamlined yet detailed approach I would expect for this caliber of high volume business. Motorado was the perfect answer at the perfect time. read more

Good first. Easy process, Nice people. The bad... Bought a 08 BMW GSA from them. First I was told the tires had 80% on rear and 60% on front. Took it to a local shop and they told me a completely different story. Had to get them replaced immediately to ride safely. The big issue. The engine had a major malfunction within 2k miles and is now totaled. This could have caused me major injuries. I was lucky it did not blow up on me while riding at highway speeds or on the Shafer Trail in MOAB. This issue should have been caught before I bought the bike. I rode this bike for two months. I called and talked with them, and they did nothing for me except tell me tough luck. I would never buy a bike from them without a secondary opinion about the health of the bike. I am incredibly disappointed with the service I received from Motorado. They sold me a bike with known issues that were not relayed to me. I was taken advantage of as a new rider with limited understanding of mechanical issues on motorcycles. Again, I would never trust a thing this company says and would never buy a motorcycle from them without having a secondary opinion. I made this mistake and I am now paying twice the cost of the bike to get it fixed after less than two months of riding. read more

I'm not sure if I'm going to the same shop as the rest of these people. Here are my reasons of why I'll never deal with this place or recommend it to others. First, this is not a dealer, it's a consignment shop. They don't own any of the bikes so good luck haggling on a price. Second, if you want to test ride a bike you must buy it first. Yes, I said buy it. They then put a clause in the contract that says you have 30mins to test it. Sorry not buying something then test riding it. Never ever have I done a deal that way. Third, their attitude leaves a lot to be desired. The salesman was nice until I showed skepticism at their test ride process then he flipped me so much attitude I felt like punching him. Sales 101, don't interrupt your customer and tell him he needs to be quiet and listen to you then talk. Yes that's exactly what I was told when I said I wasn't comfortable with buying a bike then riding it. The only reason it wasn't one star is they did have a pretty decent selection and the prices were on par with other shops. If they weren't so inflexible about their sales process and rude they would have made a sale that day. As it stands, I'll never be back. read more

WORST SALESMAN EVER!!! I Was looking for motocycle and called to make a offer on a bike I liked. First thing in the morning. Salesman said he would call me right back after reviewing offer. Never happened. I called back the next day, asked for same salesman figuring he just had a busy day. he made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him. And didn't even bring up my offer.and dropped the price $100 and said that that was the best he could do. I tried to explain my budget and financial situation witch most all salesman work with and he didn't even care. Obviously he didn't want to make a sale. I felt like I was less of a buyer and more of doing them a favor. If you want to feel appreciated and worth something, i Guess maybe try to talk to a owner. Someone who cares about the business. Just making sure you don't have problems getting payment is a big concern. Motorado turned this situation from something I was dreading into a simple, turnkey experience, and I ended up getting a fair price for my bike. I didn't have to interrupt my day to meet buyers and deal with lots of haggling. Ron also reviewed the bike's history with me beforehand, to make sure that the buyer would have no surprises, which included taking receipts I had for maintenance, such as replacing the wiring harness we just did on the bike. So Motorado is making an effort to give a square deal to both parties of the sale, and I appreciated dealing with people who have integrity. We've had less than pleasant experiences with some other dealerships, so I'm familiar with some of the less than honest people in the vehicle sales world.
