    A&M Auto Body

This is, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with an auto body shop…read more I was referred to A&M Auto Body by my insurance company, Farmers Insurance, after my accident. Because they were a recommended repair facility, I trusted them with my vehicle. That was a mistake. When I got my car back, it had new damage that was not there before. The left side of my aftermarket wide-body bumper had been damaged and no longer fit correctly. Instead of acknowledging the damage, the shop claimed it was already like that when I dropped the vehicle off. That is simply not true. The problems didn't stop there. My dash cam no longer worked after they finished the repairs. The 10-amp fuse had been blown. My alarm siren stopped working because a wire had been cut and never repaired. While inspecting the engine bay, I found multiple wires that had been cut and left unrepaired. On top of that, my steering wheel--which cost me over $700--was scratched and scuffed while the vehicle was in their care. I take exceptional care of my vehicle and have extensive experience working on cars. I know exactly what condition it was in before it entered this shop, and I know what was damaged afterward. I contacted A&M Auto Body multiple times and spoke directly with the owner. Rather than taking responsibility and fixing the problems, I received excuses. I was eventually told they were waiting on one replacement piece from the manufacturer of my wide-body kit. It has now been over three months, and my vehicle is still not repaired. Waiting this long for a single part, with little meaningful communication or urgency, is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I paid a $1,000 insurance deductible expecting my vehicle to be repaired correctly. Instead, I got my car back with additional damage and had to spend months trying to get someone to take responsibility. I've also had to file complaints because the issues remain unresolved. The most frustrating part isn't just the poor workmanship--it's the complete lack of accountability. If a repair shop damages a customer's vehicle, they should own the mistake and fix it promptly. That never happened here. Based on my experience, I would never trust A&M Auto Body with another vehicle, nor would I recommend them to anyone. If you care about the quality of your vehicle and expect honest communication, attention to detail, and accountability, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I was treated like a human being and every employee there seemed genuinely happy to work there. I brought it to everyone under the sun and they all charged me a lot of money to replace things I didn't need. It wasn't until the day before Christmas Eve that I decided to bring the car to the dealer to let them take a crack at it. Less than 24 hours later the old girl is running like a dream. Martin at the service desk kept me in the loop every step of the way. Dana, the service tech, spent hours diagnosing and getting to the root cause of the issue and provided a full detailed report on troubleshooting steps and what was found to be in great shape as well as what was wrong. I'm looking forward to driving it for the first time in years. Prices were fair and the work was prompt and thorough. I wouldn't hesitate a bit to recommend them for Honda service.

However, upon entering the building we were greeted warmly by John Desrochers and Michael Quigley. Both of them quickly put my preconceived experience to rest. Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Honda, wasn't pushy at any time and I actually enjoyed negotiating with him. He took his time explaining some of the cars features and never hurried our test drive. We genuinely feel he got us the best deal he could on both the car we were buying and the car we were trading in. His follow up after the sale is to be commended as well. Because of Michael and John and our overall experience thus far at Rockingham Honda, I would not hesitate to make another purchase or recommend them to anyone.
