I brought it to everyone under the sun and they all charged me a lot of money to replace things I didn't need. It wasn't until the day before Christmas Eve that I decided to bring the car to the dealer to let them take a crack at it. Less than 24 hours later the old girl is running like a dream. Martin at the service desk kept me in the loop every step of the way. Dana, the service tech, spent hours diagnosing and getting to the root cause of the issue and provided a full detailed report on troubleshooting steps and what was found to be in great shape as well as what was wrong. I'm looking forward to driving it for the first time in years. Prices were fair and the work was prompt and thorough. I wouldn't hesitate a bit to recommend them for Honda service.

However, upon entering the building we were greeted warmly by John Desrochers and Michael Quigley. Both of them quickly put my preconceived experience to rest. Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Honda, wasn't pushy at any time and I actually enjoyed negotiating with him. He took his time explaining some of the cars features and never hurried our test drive. We genuinely feel he got us the best deal he could on both the car we were buying and the car we were trading in. His follow up after the sale is to be commended as well. Because of Michael and John and our overall experience thus far at Rockingham Honda, I would not hesitate to make another purchase or recommend them to anyone.

So knew for any ongoing maintenance would certainly be brining me business to Key. Was interested in a potential tire/wheel upgrade, that the nature of it was quite unusual or novel at least. Well Russell from parts is absolutely incredible. Along with responding incredibly timely, is has a wealth of knowledge, and detailed, and a very creative thinker like I consider myself. In a world of customer support often feeling like you are taking to a Bot (whether you are or are not), or that people aren't empowered to resolve issues, glad to see great service providers and companies behind them that empower them to truly support reasonable requests from customers. Highly recommend them! To note, the 6 other ratings here on Yelp are dismal and very different from my incredibly positive experience as well as on Google where they have 5 stars with 1,069 reviews currently. The dealership informed me that they would bring the car to a Kia dealership, and I believed them. After a few days of no information, I inquired about the dealership. I called Kia directly to get an update on the car and service manager was shocked to learn that it had been purchased. He informed me that the car was not covered under warranty but provided the quote to Hyundai. He also mentioned that the parts would not be available until Monday. Two days later, I called Hyundai to inquire about the car's status. They informed me that the car was still at Kia and that the parts would not be available for a few more days. This information aligned with what Kia had told me, so I was initially satisfied. However, when I took delivery of the car two days later, I noticed that the repair sheet from Kia indicated that the car had been picked up days before my salesperson had informed me that it was still at Kia. I have since called, emailed, and spoken to another sales manager to determine how the car was repaired. I have no idea if they used superglue or if it was a legitimate repair using the correct Kia parts. I had high hopes for dealerships that does not engage in commission-based sales tactics. I genuinely believed that there was no motivation for the dealership to lie, but this experience has proven me wrong. It appears that this dealership employed typical car salesman tactics. Fabian was my salesperson, and Nancy, the sales manager, is the one I believe guided Fabian to directly lie to me.

The service department blames sales for not having information on appointments- the warranty that was sold to me is covered by a third party ( NOT disclosed at the time of purchase) so the process of actually getting it scheduled/ taken care of is a three ring circus and finger pointing game. If you do purchase a vehicle from here- use Nick from sales- and then firmly decline any and all warranty's!!

"If you like being left hanging and chasing down your own warranty info -- this is the dealership…read morefor you!" If you want a dealership that leaves you hanging on their every word, look no further. My first few gripes? I let them slide -- I wanted the car. But after this experience? I would NEVER go back. We agreed on a price, but somewhere along the way, the doc fee mysteriously jumped up by $100. I pointed it out (credit to the one kid there who was actually decent) -- he said "No problem, we'll fix that." Cool. Then I had to wait around for 2-3 hours to sign the paperwork -- because they only had one finance person on duty, and she was busy with another customer. The other finance person had called out sick, so I just sat there, waiting. Again -- I'm patient. But when we finally get to the paperwork... surprise: they never fixed the doc fee. My fault for missing it during signing -- but not exactly a confidence booster. Dropped off my $10,000 down payment check the next morning. They told me the car should be ready later that day. Great! Except... nothing. The next day? "Oh sorry, the registration person is out sick." Fair enough. But funny thing -- they still cashed my $10,000 check. I go to the dealership in person. "You can cash my $10,000 check but you can't register my car?" They suddenly scramble to "handle it." After several insincere apologies and another 3-4 hours of waiting, the car is finally ready. I'm visibly annoyed, moving my stuff from my old car -- which they generously gave me $1,000 for (I regret even trading it in). Finally, the manager comes out -- the first sincere apology I got -- gives me his number, says to call if I need anything. Fast forward -- car fails inspection for emissions. Turns out the battery is from 2020 (same year as the car), not new like I was led to believe. I call the manager -- he says he'll call me back in 10-15 mins. Never does. Now the fun part: after driving the car for a few days, I started noticing weird noises. At first, my mechanic thought it might be pulleys related to the turbo -- but to be safe, I scheduled an appointment so they could put it on the lift and check it more thoroughly. When they did, they heard additional noises coming from the transfer case and transmission. Nothing catastrophic yet -- but concerning enough that they referred me to a transmission specialist to take a deeper look. I figured -- hey, I'll try one more time -- the manager DID say "call me if you need anything," right? I call him -- he immediately asks if the check engine light is on (it's not) -- and basically tells me "we don't do anything for noises." Lovely. He texts me later saying it's still under Ford warranty (gee, thanks). Meanwhile, I'm doing some digging -- turns out the Buyer's Guide lists a warranty but with zero actual info on it. I had to formally request the warranty details (which should have been provided at purchase), along with the details of the extended warranty I paid for. That was last Wednesday. No response Thursday. Reminded them Friday. It's now Tuesday -- still nothing. And just to top it all off -- they didn't even bother resetting the oil life indicator. After supposedly changing the oil as part of their prep, the car is already showing 8% oil life. Just the cherry on top of an experience that truly screams attention to detail. Summary: If you love doing your own warranty research, chasing managers for info, discovering surprise fees, and hearing "we don't do anything for noises" after dropping $10K -- THIS is the place for you. Me? Never again.
