My truck is in the shop, they are keeping me informed on the status of my vehicle. I can't wait to see it when it is finished.

This is, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with an auto body shop…read more I was referred to A&M Auto Body by my insurance company, Farmers Insurance, after my accident. Because they were a recommended repair facility, I trusted them with my vehicle. That was a mistake. When I got my car back, it had new damage that was not there before. The left side of my aftermarket wide-body bumper had been damaged and no longer fit correctly. Instead of acknowledging the damage, the shop claimed it was already like that when I dropped the vehicle off. That is simply not true. The problems didn't stop there. My dash cam no longer worked after they finished the repairs. The 10-amp fuse had been blown. My alarm siren stopped working because a wire had been cut and never repaired. While inspecting the engine bay, I found multiple wires that had been cut and left unrepaired. On top of that, my steering wheel--which cost me over $700--was scratched and scuffed while the vehicle was in their care. I take exceptional care of my vehicle and have extensive experience working on cars. I know exactly what condition it was in before it entered this shop, and I know what was damaged afterward. I contacted A&M Auto Body multiple times and spoke directly with the owner. Rather than taking responsibility and fixing the problems, I received excuses. I was eventually told they were waiting on one replacement piece from the manufacturer of my wide-body kit. It has now been over three months, and my vehicle is still not repaired. Waiting this long for a single part, with little meaningful communication or urgency, is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I paid a $1,000 insurance deductible expecting my vehicle to be repaired correctly. Instead, I got my car back with additional damage and had to spend months trying to get someone to take responsibility. I've also had to file complaints because the issues remain unresolved. The most frustrating part isn't just the poor workmanship--it's the complete lack of accountability. If a repair shop damages a customer's vehicle, they should own the mistake and fix it promptly. That never happened here. Based on my experience, I would never trust A&M Auto Body with another vehicle, nor would I recommend them to anyone. If you care about the quality of your vehicle and expect honest communication, attention to detail, and accountability, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

When I got my car back, I found several problems, including peeling paint, loose windows, and poorly installed doors that made rattling noises. I had to return my car multiple times because every time I picked it up, I found new issues. When I complained about the peeling paint, they gave me a small bottle of touch-up paint and told me to repaint it myself if it peeled again. I also discovered that my insurance company had paid to replace parts such as the front bumper and the door handle, but they were never replaced. The side mirror was simply glued back on. After I confronted them, they admitted the mistake, ordered the parts, and finally installed them, causing even more delays. This review is based on my personal experience. I cannot recommend this shop to anyone who expects quality repairs, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Here was what I said: "Need front bumper, underway, fender liners and one side skirt replaced. I have all the panels." And this was the response from "Herman S.": "Hi ; You have to come by an we can take look and give you an estimate. We are open tomorrow 10am to noon." So I hopped in the car and drove 30 minutes for the quote. A couple of guys came out, looked at the car, took the VIN, all my personally identifiable information and gave it to their boss... who promptly told me he won't do it because he doesn't use customer provided front bumpers. Apparently customer provided OEM bumpers don't work just the bumpers he orders. It's his shop and that's fine. What's not fine was that he wasted an hour of my time for something he literally could have said in a Yelp message. And now I'm left wondering what they plan on doing with my VIN, home address, phone number, and e-mail. I just read his response. I literally had never been to this area of Tewksbury before let alone his shop.
