I have also been laughed at, dismissed, and spoken to in a disrespectful manner when simply trying to advocate for my child's care. I do want to acknowledge one employee, Sarah, who is not at our location but has been the only person throughout this experience who consistently conducted herself with professionalism, kindness, and empathy. I truly appreciate the way she has treated us. Regardless of how complicated an insurance or scheduling issue may be, families seeking medical care--especially for a child recovering from surgery--deserve to be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect. I went in for region specific pain, and he provided me with tools and soft tissue work to ensure the most beneficial treatment. I was nervous to go in and didn't know what to expect. I have been a patient at Watson for PT services previously, and have used their Beach Kids Therapy services.
