I had a pretty frustrating experience at Dr. Mouchir Harb Medical Office and unfortunately it lived up to many of the negative reviews I had seen beforehand. From the moment I walked in, the front office felt chaotic and unorganized. The receptionist was noticeably loud and didn't seem to have control over the flow of patients. There was a long line building up in the waiting room, and instead of addressing it efficiently, things just seemed to get more backed up and confusing. The lack of organization made the entire check-in process stressful, especially with so many patients waiting and no clear communication on timing or next steps. It didn't feel like patients were being properly acknowledged or managed. Parking was another issue altogether. There's very limited availability, which only adds to the frustration before you even step inside the office. I try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but after experiencing this firsthand, I can see why there are so many similar complaints on Yelp. I came to this practice to assist a friend with an appointment. generally I wouldn't stop to post a review but this is very important to highlight. I have unfortunately spent a lot of time with doctors over the past year after a traumatic injury in 2021 so I followed along to be there for someone through their process. immediately upon entering, the women at the front desk were unfriendly and very short with us. I'm an incredibly quiet and polite person...there was no prompt for the hostility received from them. we haven't even seen a doctor yet and this office is very unwelcoming. I will add to this review once we're through here, but I couldn't just ignore the mistreatment of the patients that are here for help... do better. -the pen wasn't working that they gave us for paperwork, when I politely asked for another pen, one of the women...who was very clearly shopping for watches on her phone....put her hand up at me and ignored me until another woman came up and asked what I needed. I could plainly see the screen of her phone. Shopping is more important than work. After I was given another pen, they placed it back in the pen jar. I reminded them that it wasn't working and they shrugged me off. Minutes later, they hand another patient the same pen...she had the same experience as me...why is the reception here so rude? read more

My neurologist since Feb 2023. Ordered MRI on Spine, Cervical and Brain, prior to 1st visit. My last visit 2/24, he ordered MRI's for the above ?? He forgot he had mine on file. He is a great doctor, just WAY overworked, over booked, and seems confused at times. My main reason for going to him was for nerve pain. He was unable to give me medication that woud help. He prescribed several meds, He was NOT concerned @ side effects. I WAS. Will not return to this doctor. Staff is as overbooked as doctor is. I do not recommend. read more

Dr. Harb is a FRAUDULENT doctor who billed my insurance for $300.00 when he did not treat me. He walked into my hospital room, started asking me crazy unrelated questions. I asked him who he was, I asked him to leave my room after I immediately told him I did not need his services and will not authorize billing of any sort. He went and submitted a bill to my insurance for $300.00 for walking into my room for 2 minutes. Like I said, I informed him I was not wanting his service and asked him to leave. I was not in the hospital for anything related to his field. I did not need a neurologist. He is a fraud and thief that will fraudulently bill insurance for services not rendered. This Doctor is HORRIBLE and racist. Although I'm African American my family is just as much Muslim as him. He walked into the room after a hour after my appointment time. I was in so much pain and having an attack in the chair crying uncontrollably due to so much pain but have been suffering from some sort of condition where my speech is affected and I cannot speak. He didn't say 2 WORDS to me or my husband. He came in pulled out his dumb microphone and stated talking to his computer about test results that clearly read I had nerve damage. He didn't give a damn that I was in pain. He finished his notes my husband tried to explain to him that I was just in the emergency room the day before due to my disorder he kept cutting him off talking about blood work. He then asked us to leave without any exam as my entire right side was swollen and numb. I'm new to this area and establishing medical care this is the worst doctor I've ever came across, and believe me I've been wrong by the absolute WORST. But he takes the cake. He needs to be reported to the medical board for negligence. I watched him spend several minutes with other patients. When I cried to him and asked him for help as I'm in so much pain he laughed, YOU HEAR ME? Laughed in myself and my husband's face and stated he couldn't do anything for me and walked out of the room. I may not be able to talk but I can write a very detailed letter to the medical board. SAVE Yourself the trip find another doctor that cares about patients if your looking for someone that cares about you HE IS NOT IT! Piece OF TRASH doctors office. On top of that my PCP asked if certain test can be ran STAT ( ASAP) he disregarded the request and scheduled my test for 3 months out. SIMPLE TEST no doctor in this world is that busy. Dr. Harb is a great doctor. I see the negative reviews posted and I believe that most of the negative reviews are from people who expect to be seen immediately and given customer service that one would find at a 5 star hotel. Board Certified Neurologists are extremely rare given the additional training that the specialty demands; only truly exceptional and dedicated physicians are in this field. Given the scarcity and lack of neurologists, the demand for care far exceeds the supply of specialists. Yes, he does start dictating the treatment note as soon as he walks in the exam room; this is a standard time saving procedure and common practice in the medical field. I have been a patient of his for over 2 years; I have waited past my appointment time in his practice to be seen. I attribute it to unforeseen emergencies and him providing quality care to patients, not racism or lack of consideration for his patients. Yes, he has an accent. Yes, the majority of his staff have various accents, too. I don't mind asking for something to be repeated for me to understand and do my part in the communication gap. If the above comments bother you, then this practice is not for you. However, I am truly grateful that I have access to a Board Certified Neurologist who doesn't mind completing the reams of insurance paperwork that I require on a regular basis to continue to be seen at this practice. If there was ever a business to get a MINUS 5 Stars it would be this place! The Office Manager actually followed us outside and stated "American Medicare is shit and no good". I wanted to put that statement upfront so when you read the review you would not think we were the racist ones, and so you may understand how this place thinks and operates. My wife's doctor needed her to take a special test and apparently coordinated for her to have it at this place. Her appointment was at 3PM, and we arrived at 240/245PM to allow for time to fill out paperwork, insurance, etc. Once we arrived my wife signed in and we waited.................... While waiting, it was more than obvious that the vast majority of people in the waiting room, and those coming and going were of Arabic descent, which is not a problem. However, each and every person that came in that was NOT of Arabic descent was given some type of BS, a hard time about something, and a couple times people got loud, and one even walked out. After about 30 minutes of waiting they call my wife up and asked her for her Insurance cards. She provided them and sits back down. My wife and I are retired and we have 2 Insurances companies that more than cover her situation, and we have never had any issue with our insurance elsewhere, ever. After watching several people, many who came in after us, some without an appointment, and one person that has some "special" deal with the doctor, which sounded very unethical, come and go out of the office, we started to see their issues. While we were sitting there we could hear some woman with a very loud thick accent and very with very bad English talking on the phone with someone and trying to spell our name, give my wife's info, etc. After sitting there for way over an hour, and watching people come and go who came in after us, my wife asked the front desk what her status was. The lady told her that they were still trying to get a hold of our insurance companies, one of which is Medicare. We gave it another 20 minutes and then finally after hearing the lady, later identified as the Office Manager, getting nowhere with our insurance company, we asked for my wife's ID and insurance cards back. Initially, they would not return them. Then it became a little heated, and the entire office staff was lost, confused, and very disorganized. The "office manger" comes out of her office and starts telling us that it's our fault because we have MEDICARE and she cannot get through to them to get an approval. I now know why people have issues with insurance companies giving approval, it's because they are tired of talking to people they cannot understand and wasting their time! Finally, someone hands my wife her ID and insurance cards and we leave. As we walkout the door and around the corner, the office manager comes running after us swinging her clipboard and yelling. We stop to see what she wants and either of us can understand a word of her broken English. Then she yells at us "American MEDICARE is shit and no good". We turned and walked away as other customers came outside to see what was happening. It was embarrassing, she was rude, incompetent, and unprofessional. Needless to say, this place obviously has some major issues, especially with incompetence and discrimination. If "American MEDICARE is shit and no good" then why do they accept it! Just another business with profits over all and at any cost. This office manager is a direct reflection, and a direct contributor, to the negative issues we are having in this country, especially with those from the Arabic community. I went in today for my first visit. Without even checking my paperwork, he immediately started asking questions as to why I was there. After explaining to him that I'm in severe pain due to pinched nerves, but have other issues as well, he immediately diagnosed me after telling him my symptoms. I've gone to countless doctors, had hospital stays. Testing to no avail. I keep getting the same answer.. we don't know what is causing you to pass out. Within 5 minutes, he solved 10 years of me thinking I'm crazy! I have partial seizures. Makes complete sense! He put me on seizure medicine and will monitor my symptoms. He took his time and really listened to me. I was completely impressed. The staff were extremely nice and helpful as well. I'm so happy to finally have a diagnosis! BE PREPARED TO WAIT! We have made four visits to this office in last month, all very unorganized with wait over one hour. First visit the doctor couldn't remember what the codes on the referral form meant and chose to Google those rather than face the patient and ask what we were there for. Unfortunately he doesn't choose an appropriate search term and returns results that aren't quite relevant. Instead of scrolling down he chose the first and then the second results which were not medically relevant at all. After this he finally chooses to ask the reason for our visit. My mother has memory issues but he has no type of standard tests, instead choosing to pick up a card and ask her to read and then asking her to remember a group of a few terms to recite later that I couldn't ever remember after his next statement. Second visit I wasn't present but my wife waited an hour to get my mom in to find the results of the MRI weren't back because the doctor never got the referral over to the imaging place after multiple calls so there was never a box checked to send the disc with us. Doctor said he didn't believe the diagnosis from the imaging place and insisted on a third visit with the disc. The third visit he decided he agreed with the diagnosis, this was probably just a good way to charge for a third, unnecessary visit. Today's visit topped them all, however. Clearly we were there for a scam because the doctor chose to not even advise his staff and upon entry we were told the insurance wasn't valid. Which it is. It's Medicare and was used in that office last week after a one hour wait. More than that, she described finding out YESTERDAY it was not valid but failed to mention that when calling the second time this morning to remind me about appointment. The insurance is valid but not even necessary today because it was a visiting doctor holding us up an extra hour. They charged the other lady a copay illegally as well. I say illegally because neither of us were there for insurance company approved visit but rather some friend of the doctor (another Syrian from the appearance) was supposedly holding clinical trials and came to speak with us. After waiting an hour I gave the office an ultimatum that we would be leaving if the sales pitch didn't hurry up and start and they dismissed us. Now I'm a grown man and when a Syrian doctor has me leave work an hour early to take my mom to an appointment that turns out to be a huge SCAM I'm going to get a little upset BUT WHAT RECOURSE DO YOU HAVE? Nothing really. Yelp is pretty much all you have so please take heed of my review, read the other horrible reviews of this office all stating the same thing. And doctor Harb: eventually this will come back to bite you in the ass. Either karma will find you or you'll bump into me at the wrong time. The office visit was a complete waste of time. My elderly sister had to wait almost 2 hrs to see Dr H. It was only after I complained about how elderly patients should not have to wait so long did the Dr finally showed up. When he arrived, he obviously did not know why she was here & had to pull up her file on the screen to review hospital notes. He asked about her leg. She said it was her foot that was the problem. He said the foot is connected to the leg. My sister asked if he wanted her to remove her shoes to inspect her feet. He just asked her to walk so he could observe and then wanted her to make another appointment with him for a neurology test. He was referred to my sister when she was in the hospital.He saw her there twice so we couldn't understand why he didn't tell her there that she needed to schedule a neurology test instead of making her come to his office & wait almost 2 hrs to be told this. I've been seeing Dr Harb for a bit now for chronic migraines and suspected autoimmune disorder. He has been very calm and orderly in his approach. The office staff has been friendly and accommodating when I've had to bring my children with me and they fussed. I have had to wait a few times, but never longer than any other dr visit in this area and he's been good about taking his time with me when it's my turn, so I'm alright with the wait. We will have a follow up after a good deal of tests tomorrow and I am hoping that he'll be able to get to the bottom of what's causing all the trouble. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Harb since March of 2019. As an RN with a history of traumatic brain injury and PTSD I am perplexed by the negative reviews I just came across for Dr. Harb and his office staff. I have personally never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time and I have been to many neurologists through the years. I can honestly say Dr. Harb is the most knowledgeable and finest neurologist I have ever come across. I think what most people may not realize is that he is a SCIENTIST....literally he is a genius and while he may not relate well to you personally, or you may not care for the decisions he is making on your behalf (changing meds etc) they will be the correct decisions every time... he does not think like the average person (he's NOT average!!!) believe me he KNOWS what he is doing! I feel blessed to have found Dr. Harb as he has helped me in so many ways with the treatment he has provided for me. Arrived for the first appointment of the day, ten minutes early as requested when I made the appointment by phone. There's a big sign on red paper at reception that says "all patients minimum one hour wait from appointment time." I looked at that and said to the receptionist "Surely that doesn't apply to me, I'm the first appointment of the day." She started telling me in very bad English "you sign, you sign" trying to tell me I've signed and agreed to this policy. I said "I haven't signed anything with this office, I made the appointment by phone." She responded "you sign now, you sign now." To which I replied "I don't think so." All the time she is rudely pointing her finger at me. I then asked her why I wasn't informed of this policy when I made the appointment. She just stared at me. I walked out. Never have I encountered such arrogance from a doctor's office. For someone who has a medical degree, he can't seem to tell time. read more

I went to Dr harb a few days ago. I waited almost 2 hrs to see him and wasn't even upset about that I figured neurologist are super busy, no problem at all. But I had called weeks before and asked how the appt was supposed to go, they said ,"oh he takes his time and goes over everything with you about an hr he will spend with you". I was so happy to hear, when it comes to having a lump in your head regardless of what it is is really scary, and I couldn't wait to get answers on why I started having severe severe headaches/ throbbing migraines every single day out of no where for the last 7 months with out them ever ever going away. I got to Dr. harbs office the staff was so ridiculously loud talking about whatever they wanted to talk about. Dr harb came into the room did something on the computer said he'd be right back, then came in literally spent 5 mins with me I tell him what's going on give him my results on my CT scan he breezed over them, checked my reflexes I made him feel my lump on my temple he said it was basically nothing told me I just have just normal "migraine headaches" and prescribed me topamax (which is the worst medicine I've ever taken doesn't work and side effects are horrible) he didn't give me anything for immediate pain that I was in, and did not go over the medicine he prescribed me. I asked if it didn't work what was next, he said we just up the dosage of the ridiculous crazy medicine so basically these horrible side effects would have been horribly worse I could imagine. But that was it and all in 5 mins then left. I was more than disappointed I'll never ever be back and will never recommend him to anyone in my life time. He's a c- Dr. definitely not even close to being the best in las vegas. So ridiculous I had to write a yelp review and this experience was so horrible that I had to do this. read more

Horrible. Avoid like the plague. A 2.5 hour wait after the appointed time for a 10 minute appointment. Multiple trips had to be made back here because of the incompetence in sending correct paperwork to other doctors office. Still had to come here for a follow up and already been here an hour and a half past appointment time.
