THIS OFFICE IS A SCAM!!! I was referred to Dr Dixit for migraines by my primary dr. I was wanting to do an MRI as it had been many years since my first one. Upon my visit, a nurse practitioner sees me and takes all my detailed history and reason for the visit then Dr Dixit comes in for maybe one minute and is very cold. I get the referral for my MRI, schedule it then receive a letter from my insurance that the MRI was denied because "I only had a headache". Who the hell sees a neurologist for only a headache?? Maybe if the Dr actually spent time w his patients then my referral would have been submitted accurately. I called their office 4 times trying to fix the denial. No one calls back. I finally call their office front desk who transfers me to Jaime who is NO HELP AT ALL and sits on my paperwork for 2 days then calls and asks if I can email them the denial paperwork from my insurance, why?? It clearly states on my paperwork the dr office received a copy. Then a supposed manager calls and says they want to see me again in their office, for what??? I already came in, explained everything clearly and now I have to do the same thing so you can bill my insurance for another visit? I asked them to cancel everything and hung up. I was referred to this office for a transfer of care, but they denied me solely because I had previously seen another neurologist -- which was exactly the reason for the referral in the first place. It makes no sense to deny a patient for having prior neurological care, especially when transitioning providers is a normal part of medical care. She (who never left her chair) wrote out a FULL NEURO EXAM! She DID NOT DO ANY OF IT. This included (uvula is midline.." My uvula was removed in the 90's. This is a horrible office. I went through hell with them for what should have been a simple procedure. My first impression of the office was that it felt like the DMV on its worst possible day. All the clerical staff were robotic and unfriendly. I waited about 35 minutes to be taken to an exam room. When the doctor came in, he was friendly and pleasant but talked over me and contradicted a diagnosis I've had for three decades. He also did an imitation of a person with Tourette syndrome--I'm not kidding! It was something a ten year old would do on the playground. Of course, the syndrome ranges from mild to severe--there is no one-size-fits-all patient. This is all preface to the horror show that came after I was prescribed Botox injections, which is a normal treatment. I was told that I had to contact a speciality pharmacy and "give consent" to have the drug sent over to their office and that it would cost $300 for a three-month treatment. This sounded bizarre as I'd had the treatment in California where it cost $15 and was already in the neurologist's office. I called my insurance company twice and spoke with two different people who both said that there was zero copay for this medication. Today, I cancelled my appointment and told this office that I would not be coming back again because my experience was so bad and I didn't feel safe. I hope you will read this full review and choose a different neurologist. If I could have given 1/4 star, I'd have done so. read more

Although Dr Kaman seems to be good, the staff is bad enough to make it not worthwhile. I've been trying to get my pills. Increased in milligrams for three months now with no luck. Again today I received the pills from the pharmacy at same milligrams as usual. The doctor always issues you have if you need anything I'll be right there for you. The staff, however, seems rather blasé apathetic, and sometimes just unprofessional in an informed I like the doctor, but I'm not sure I'll be sticking around for too long if this continues. read more

If I could give this neurologist a zero I would! Dr Dixit took me on as a patient and treated my condition for over a year, never ordered lab work, never did any follow ups and while injecting Botox into my head and neck, told me he doesn't treat my kind of condition. He never informed or divulged that he increased the units of Botox, and when asked how many units he was using, he became agitated and terminated the patient doctor relationship during the injections! Then when asked why he Insulted me in front of his staff and said he can't meet my demands. He refused to give a referral so that i could find another neurologist and continue treatments in a timely manner and without having to start from scratch with a primary care doctor, which I ended up having to do. My condition has worsened thanks to his unprofessional and inexperienced so-called care. All he cares about is your money! His staff constantly made mistakes which caused many delays in necessary paperwork and prescription refills. Going to this doctor turned out to be a nightmare! The doctors will try to push as many medications as possible to make as much money they can through your insurance. I then waited until August to receive a botox injection. Upon arrival I was told they forgot to order botox and forgot to ask my insurance. So I waited 8 months for basically nothing. These doctors do not care about your well being. I was referred to this neurology center by my Rhuematologist, because I have problems with balance,weakness and a long list od symptoms. Between the drs. Referral w/a rule out MS and a detailed history of what was happening, I saw Dr. Kamen. I had given all of the paperwork to his medical assist. When he walked in, he had my history my the paperwork in his hand. He then proceeded to toss paperwork on the counter, said "you don't have MS. You have tardive dyskinesia (Involuntary movements).When I asked him about M/S, he said, "I'm a movement specialist, you'll have to make another appt w/ a MS dr." I said "I thought I did, at least your receptionist told me that."He asked me to raise my arms with my elbows bent,(that was his total examination). He then told me to wait there. 15 minutes later his assistant brought me paperwork to check out and a sample pack of meds. He never came back, no one explained the medication,possible side effects etc. I got up, walked past the check out, and I threw the paperwork and the samples into the trashcan. I was a patient at this facility and due to the office staff's unprofessionalism my complaints will now go in and for the record, I am know longer a patient. I am in my rights to request for my medical records. It is because I am African American they have decided to play games and waste my time. Natalie has informed me on several calls which includes 07/05 and 07/12/2024 that I would receive my medical record through email. I was also given an option to pick them up and now I refuse to waste gas when it can be emailed. Each time I call, every agent transfers me back to Natalie as if they are trying to keep this from the members of management or doctors. Natalie would answer and then put the phone down or place me on hold while I am still speaking. Everyone knows when they are placed on hold and we also know when we're dealing with UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. I made it clear that I need my medical records! The question is, what's in it that makes them want to hold on to it? Or are they simply holding my records because I requested for it?! EITHER WAY, THIS POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE WILL NOW BE REPORTED EVEN IF I GET THE RECORDS LATER. THIS COMPLAINT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED IF THIS FACILITY DIDN'T ALLOW THEIR STAFF TO RACIALLY PROFILE PATIENTS THEIR AFRICAN AMERICAN PATIENTS. If I could give this doctor 0 stars, I would. I arrived at the facility at 1600 for a 1615 appointment time. I was going in for my first botox treatment for migraines. Everything at the front desk was fine, but once I got into a room, things took a turn. Upon entering the room I had expressed to the nurse how nervous I was given that 30 injections were going into my head. She assured me everything would be okay. She took my blood pressure, and to no surprise it was very elevated due to my nervousness. Dr. Dixit walks in shortly after the nurse leaves and this is how the conversation went: Dr. Dixit: "What's the issue?" Me: "There's no issue, I'm just nervous." Dr. Dixit: *rolls his eyes* "So do you want to do this or not? Don't waste my time." Me: "Have you ever done this before?" Dr. Dixit: *has a look of disgust* "Of course! What do you mean? Me: "Have you ever gotten 30 injections in your head before?" Dr. Dixit: "No, I obviously can't give them to myself." Me: "That's not what I am asking. What I am asking is have you ever let someone else put 30+ injections in your head before?" Dr. Dixit: "No." *sighs* "Do you want to do this or not?" Me: "Well yeah, I'm already here." Dr. Dixit proceeds to do the injections. He gets about 7 in before he tries to put one in my hair. The conversation continued: Me: "The needle won't go through because this isn't my hair." Dr. Dixit: irritatedly says "WHAT?!" Me: "I wear wigs, so it won't go through. Would you like me to take the wig off?" Dr. Dixit: "Well yeah, how else am I going to do the injections?" Me: "You know what, don't worry about it. I'm just going to go because you're very rude." Dr. Dixit: "I am not rude, you are rude." Dr. Dixit proceeded to argue with me about why he wasn't rude and I politely grabbed my purse and walked out. As I was gathering my things, Dr. Dixit was begging me to let him finish the treatment, but I refused to receive treatment from a medical professional that was going to treat me that way. I was in tears and when I saw my nurse in the hallway, I asked who his boss was and he screamed at me, "I am the boss!" I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor in all 26 years of my life. Had I known I couldn't wear the wig, I wouldn't have, but to tell me I'm wasting your time is absurd. I was humiliated, belittled, and my feelings were invalidated. As a patient that has never had 30+ injections in her head before, it was natural for me to be nervous. Instead of him reassuring me or clearing up any concerns I may have had, he made me feel like I wasn't a priority. It was just a routine job for him. This was only my second encounter with him and even the first encounter was short and very off-putting. Saw the APRN, DNP, FNP-BC, CPHQ was advised that she would contact my insurance for auth for infusions for myasthenia gravis. I called today to find 2+ weeks later that this was never done. Not Veteran friendly, at all. If this office is suggested as a part of the VA community care, do NOT make an appointment with them. I waited 5 weeks to be seen only to be refused care because I misplaced my VHID card, and they said my DD214 wasn't good enough in order to be seen. Excuse me? A DD214 is definitive proof of my service, and they refused to accept it? Who does that? Then they tried to claim the reason I couldn't be seen was because they didn't have the referral. If they didn't have the referral, I wouldn't have been able to make the appointment in the first place. Any Vet that is told they can't be seen if they don't have their VHID needs to tell the provider they are not allowed to refuse service because a VHID card is not a health insurance card. It's their "policy," they claimed. Well, that is absolutely unconscionable. Who refuses to serve Veterans when we served our country? Who does that?!? Fellow Veterans, stay away from this provider. I'm also going to be filing a complaint with Tri-West about this and to see about having them removed from the community care system. Don't treat Veterans like this! read more

Dr. Kamen is one of the best doctors I think I've seen in Las Vegas. He is so smart, kind, and considerate of his patients. Seeing a neurologist was overwhelming and fairly scary for me, but Dr. Kamen has done everything in his power to get to the bottom of my issues and walk me through the recovery process. PLEASE READ THIS: Under NO circumstances should you rely on Dr. Dixit or his staff for any neurological medical advice or treatment. Dixit has designed his medical practice using a business model that does not favor patient treatment. He will only see new patients at their first appointment. That one and only appointment with Dixit is cursory, at best. All of your following appointments are scheduled with incompetent PAs (which the office staff will tell you are doctors, which they are not). Dixit's job is to bring in the patients and increase his cash flow. The support staff is your only resource for follow up. If your situation requires any special attention, you will not receive it. One PA failed to properly review the patient's file (a 75-year old woman), and prescribed medication that was contraindicated for her. Dr Dixit has been my numerologist for 4+ years and he is definitely a blessing. Dr Dixit's staff are all friendly and professional.

I have been double charged and triple charged for services here. Their billing department has a recording that they are either at lunch or it is after hours, leave a message and they will call back with=in 48 hours. 75 messages, no return call. Their office manager has the same message, she is never available. 30+ calls and she will not return a call even though she tells the BBB she will gladly speak to me and get someone from billing to do the same. On top of that they seem to have a problem where PAs stay only a few months and leave. When the last one left they waited until I arrived to tell me my appointment was cancelled and they were "just about to call me". 15 minutes before my scheduled time? Then they would not let me reschedule (they had no one to schedule with). They told me to call back in 2 weeks to schedule an appointment, which I did. I was then told to call back in another two weeks which I did,. Then the third call they finally told me my PA left their organization. They still would not let me schedule an appointment now we are going on to months later oh, and my medicine is running out. Whoever is in charge of refills kept refusing to refill my medications saying I still had refills left on them even though the pharmacy and myself were telling them I didn't. So, 2 months no appointment no appointment scheduled no medicine and they think this is how they should operate. read more

I enjoyed the services provided, many older individuals and people that I wouldn't assume would use online referral services, so I have had no issues with scheduling or the staff and didn't get any lasting bad impressions. Small location, there is not much they can bypass and still have to adhere to current Covid restrictions but have had no issue. Spoke to staff, do my scheduling, and never ran into any issues myself. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE -ANY- EXISTING PSYCHIATRIC ISSUES. I was referred to Dr. Ferman by Dr. Yu/Elenor from the Henderson location, I wrote out a list of what I was experiencing during seizures and read it to Eleanor who verified that it could all be seizure activity. Hence why I was sent to a seizure disorder specialist, first of all on the paperwork they gave me regarding my appointments all of the information was incorrect. It said that I did not have a single seizure in the year of 2018, which is false, I was having focal seizures daily and have for a decade. I also experienced a grand mal where I stopped breathing twice, And have had nocturnal seizures that are so violent I have stopped breathing (thank you Apple Watch). I have focal seizures mostly, but I have been on psychiatric medication's for a decade which have only made them worse. I was seen by her today, everything came back normal as far as my MRI and EEG. Which cool fine, but she went out of her way to tell me that I was "manifesting my own symptoms for attention", when all I have wanted for a decade is to get off all of my medication safely. If it was not seizures, cool, awesome, I can taper off of those. She would ask a question interrupt me midsentence when replying to say that she had the information right there. I had only been to the Henderson office twice, once in 2020, and once this year and February. They don't have any paperwork from my old neurologist, they have no extensive prior medical history for me. I was hoping that I would at least have my MRI results and scan shown to me, to explain what happens with normal aging and if there is a better way to go without treating me. If you are someone who struggles with anxiety, depression, any other mental ailment and you take medication-they will not see you as human. I have never been spoken to by a professional in such a manner, " i've been doing this a long time and I have seen a lot of people manifest their own seizure symptoms like I believe you're doing". She could've told me any idea she had for any of my symptoms, saying that maybe my meds weren't lasting long enough, or their side effects were mimicking a seizure. That I am just a very anxious person and it is causing all of this. She said that she does not bullshit people, but I was not allowed to advocate for myself. She had already decided before I came in that I was doing this to myself for attention, I know that because of the way she bulldozed me and manipulated my psychiatric diagnosis to justify treating me less than human. If you want an excellent neurologist near Summerlin, Who will listen to you at great lengths I highly recommend my old neurologist Dr. Bess Chang-unfortunately I had to come to this hell hole because of a change in my insurance. I know very well what I am experiencing, but I was not shown any respect-all she saw was my medications. Would not recommend. Very disorganized. Saw multiple patients show up and have issues with their appointments scheduled. My 1st appointment showed up and they told me I was supposed to be there 2 hours earlier but I had a voicemail from them telling me to be there at the time I showed up.. waited almost 2 hours to be seen. 2nd appointment scheduled for a Saturday eeg but showed up and the office was closed. Had to come back a week later and waited and hour and a half to be seen. Follow up appointment was told I need medication and can't drive for 3 months due to "abnormal" brain activity. But got a 2nd AND 3rd opinion from separate neurologist and was told everything was fine from both doctors and I had an isolated event and nothing to worry about. And definitely don't need medication. Use at your own risk. Not sure why they even schedule "Appointments" they're more like suggestions. read more

This office is the most disorganized doctor's office we've ever gone to. We went there for my daughter's appointment and was referred to get an MRI done. The doctor also prescribed her some medication which we never received since it was sent to an unknown pharmacy all the way on the other side of town. We called and informed them about the mistake and we were told that they would correct it and resend the prescription to the correct pharmacy. it never happened, until now after almost a month, no medication was sent to Walgreens. The MRI results was sent to their office last August 25 and until now they haven't received it but according to the MRI place they had sent it already digitally. How can you lose a digital correspondence? We cancelled all our future appointments with this doctor. I'm afraid that the results they may be read to us belong to another person because of how scattered and disorganized this office is. I highly believe that this kind of mistake may happen since it already did with our prescription, results , appointments etc. On top of these things, the staff was rude and didn't know what they were doing. I have been going here for a couple years now & have the same thing to say about the staff at the front desk. They are extremely rude and can never answer any of my questions. The testing that I have had to do here was great and they were on top of it. The medical assistant and workers in the back of office are great. But the second I walk in and checking in, not professional and clueless on what to do. read more

Horrible services from the Dr himself, I was told by him that if I don't do my treatment on his location to find myself another Dr.

After 3 unanswered phone calls where I left messages and 4 online booking attempts that generated auto-replys saying office will get in touch with me to schedule and after sending email, someone finally took my 4th call to reschedule a follow up appointment. The office left me a pre-appointment message to please arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork, etc. I come in 18 minutes early and sign in. They call me to the desk to tell me I don't have an appointment. Wow, they waited until I was standing there in person to give me that information. Of course, no one remembers who scheduled the appointment or why someone there would even do such a thing. They turned me away after several of their standard "I feel your frustration(s)." Then the person at the desk told me she would contact me within 24 hours regarding my request for topical pain relief. I asked several times, "are you telling me the truth this time?" She took my number said she would call and no surprise, you guessed it. She didn't call and it's been more than a week. Was it revenge for my email? Didn't see the doctor. A dr who sees people as dollar bills and is not concerned with healing or explanation I made appt in for my first visit to just get a because of my brain injury. Between making appt and appt I got a terrible rash on my neck. I showed Dr Dixit and he said that he wouldn't even look at it because he's a neurologist not a dermatologist. I understand that.... however he made it very clear that he wouldn't look at it. Then because he I had mentioned forgetfulness he wrote me a script for some drug. I asked about side effects, oh every drug has side effects and of course this does too. I am brain injured, I could not think after sitting in a small waiting room with 30 or 40 people for one Dr. Then the dr just comes by and says oh no, the rash is your problem not mine and here are drugs you never asked for that have side effects that I don't know and I'm not concerned with because the rash isn't my problem. read more
