Walked in to get some moldings and found a guy siting behind his desk talking to a customer, I would assume that's who he was. Sure seems like they are having a great time talking about life instead of ordering or helping customers. Never made eye contact or said even a simple please hold on a second ill be with you. After 6 minutes I just walked out. I will stick with Advantage molding for all my needs, at least they care about customers. read more

Came here to buy a product and I paid over the phone given that they needed to check on availability. Interestingly, within a few days, my credit card was improperly used for Uber trips and Doordash deliveries. This company appears to have the same complaint a few years ago. So where there is smoke, there might be a fire. Not worth the hassle to buy from them anyways. Their products are normal and and their prices are not lower than others. read more

Renovating my new home now and thank goodness I came across Moulding Specialist. I was able to find 6" baseboards for a fraction of the cost of what HD and Lowes sell them for. Honestly, the worst customer service I've ever experienced. No one knew the price, the employees will tell me to text them and they want to know what I'm looking for and they would say they don't have it. I've seen it in their wall, take it off of display. Then, they told me to tell them the model and I read it right from it and they still didn't know how to deal with people over the phone. I was extremely excited initially because they do have luxury crown molding but you might as well find it on Udecor.com for half the price. read more

I took 3 doors there to be replaced by 3 New Doris Supplied by Moulding Specialists to be cut to the "Exact Same size" as the old ones. The doors cost $20 More each than Home Depot, they Assured me they would would be exact. I dropped them off, waited 3 days then got a ride back to pick them up. Tried all 3, and only 2 were cut correctly. I had to find another ride back with the 2 remaining doors, then have them fixed, they again assured me they were correct now after admitting it was not done right the first time. Brought the 2 remaining in, and found that the 1 was cut on a slant and the other Still does not close, called a Doro, and explained this, he hung up 2-3 times. I would NOT recommend this service. Bad customer service, once you buy it or pay them your on your own. The will not rake any responsibility. I'll be taking them to court read more

i ordered a prehung door however upon installing it I noticed the left frame of prehung was crooked, door surfaces had few scratches but decided to go ahead to make it work because I don't have a truck to send it back. Few day later I came back to order 4 more doors and a French door to complete my project and kindly asked them to make sure prehungs carefully examined before hand so it would help me spend less time to install it. Sadly he told me al materials come in like that and you wouldnt have to order more if not happy with last order. I was so disappointed but went ahead with another order bc I don't have time to shop around then I was told store closed at 3pm so they would call me Monday to go over the order. Time passed, no call has been made so today I went to Lowes and got better doors deal for similar prices with exceptional, professional services and treatment. Lesson learned, I would definitely go to big box to shop or place custom order rather than small shop often cost more read more

4.5 stars! Excellent prices and great selection and they know their stuff. I went in to buy crown moulding for my living room - not a big job. The moulding was probably 1/2 the price of HomeDepot or maybe less. The only "caution" is that you cannot get out of there quickly. It look longer than I expected once I finally selected the moulding I wanted. Worth the wait. read more

This place rocks. We found the same baseboard we saw at Home Depot for 1/3 the price. The customer service is awesome. They have a large selection of mouldings and they even have fireplace mantle, cabinet handles, and more. Best thing is they have it in stock and they load it onto your truck for you. Very fast service. Great to see small business offer so much more than the impersonal big box retailers. read more

Came here with "No limit flooring" to buy doors and crown molding. Spent $1300. Doors and crown molding never came. I did get my credit card duplicated (chip duped too) and somehow people charged $2300 of building materials onto my credit card. A card that was never lost. Doro (Specialty Molding employee) left the room to process my transaction and 3hrs later my card was being used fraudulently across town. Buyer beware of both of these scammers. And if you hire No Limit Flooring do not let Gerardo or Hector inside your home. Unsure if Josh (NLF/owner) is involved with this credit card, identity theft ring but the police will have to rule him out. They also made fraudulent charges at Jalisco Building Materials $459, Villanueva Hardware $365, Lowes $1400,Pizza Rev $62. These business had no name on invoices but a signature for transaction. read more
