    TX Blue Line Construction

I gave my contractor, Dustin Saulter with TX Blue Line Construction a check for $25K back on March…read moreto tear out my old cement driveway and replace it with a new one. He never even started the job, though he cashed the check in March. I believe this is fraud and theft of service. The Keller PD cannot do anything as they claim this is a civil matter. I also paid him to do a retaining wall and put up a new fence, which he completed about 80% of the job. Long story, my neighbor that I share the wall and fence was suing me and the contractor (Demand Letter) for the mess Dustin left in his yard. He had a bobcat excavator, basically, tear up about half of his backyard and left stones, cement, and even the Bobcat in the backyard for more than 2 months. I had to pay another contractor (Streamline) to clean up the neighbor's yard which cost me over $6,000.00 as Dustin gave me excuse after excuse as to why he could not come out. I then had to pay Streamline to finish the wall and relandscape my yard as the wall was done too high. I also had to have the fence company (B&R Fence Co.) that TX Blue Line originally hired to finish the fence. Metal poles were sticking up out of the retaining wall for the fence that was not completed. Apparently, Dustin never paid the fence company for the job she started and she was out $2,000.00. I then had to pay the Fence company to finish the job, an additional $5,000.00 (so, basically paying for the job twice). I finally have the Wall/Fence job completed after paying more than $6,000.00 (including sod). I thought I was doing my due diligence as Dustin Saulter was a former Police Officer and I thought he would have some morals. I have even contacted his Father who is a Chief at the Johnson County Sheriff's Office (James Saulter - Patrol/Dispatch/Guinn Justice Center) and he has been trying to help but seems to be going nowhere. Any idea how I can get some traction on this? I have a long thread of text messages with Dustin and other companies that can back my claim. I have all the receipts, and pictures of the job from start to finish. It's sad that this contractor can get away with this, taking a check from me for $25,000.00 and not even doing the job. Sounds like fraud to me. Nobody can do anything, the police, Constable, etc., they say it's a civil matter, which will cost me more money and even if I take him to small claims court to get the max ($20K) I still have to pay money to do this. If I win, and he has no money...then I basically lose. Sad state that there is basically nothing I can do and I have a family to support and this is definitely putting a hardship on us. There was an article that Mr. Gerardo Martinez with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram did back on July 10th regarding the "Fort Worth Contractor that was charged with felony theft after failing to complete $23,000 renovation job." Apparently, the police were able to help and arrested the contractor!

Dustin is the type of contractor you need to stay away from he will sell you the moon & the stars &…read morewill deliver dirt basically He still owns me for a job in Plano/Murphy tx promised home owner a bunch of stuff that we never discussed then had me do it "just to make it right" & "we would settle at the end" so I guess the settlement was me not getting paid & putting me behind on my mortgage, he claim home owner hadn't paid him which is lies!!! Meanwhile he owns me money he seems to not have a problem with vacationing It's funny how he made him self to be the "I would never do that to you" person then he went on a vent how it's poor him for all the shit he goes through maybe it's his own karma Also his words "I'm a sheriff I know about the law & its against the law to not pay your contractors" Since another contractor pull the same bs in me back in December 2023
