While it seems that I should have checked reviews before visiting, I thought this would be a quick visit to solve a simple medical issue. It was not. The front desk person seems to not understand how insurance works. I was asked for a co-payment. I let her know I have reached my out of pocket. She argued with me about whether or not I've also met my deductible. What? I explained I've met both. She continued to argue for several minutes. She called my insurance and called me back up. Still tried to get me to make a payment even after confirming my family out of pocket had been met. I went late so there was no one else in the office to speak to and had to ask if they were refusing to see me because I wasn't paying a co-payment that was not due and she wasn't moving forward with checking me in. She delayed my care because she doesn't know how to do her job. When we got there, there were no patients. It took 1 1/2 hours just to be seen. Unacceptable. read more

The nurse practitioner Sarah is incompetent- first off she hesitated to admit that she's not a doctor- she became very rude and aggressive after I complained on the insecure heavy set woman who works at the window: she was your typical insecure perosn: hateful. likewise, Sarah who seems to know absolutely nothing about providing medical care must go. read more

Absolutely zero people want to find themselves at urgent care. But if you have to, I'd highly, highly recommend this one. Intake was super fast. I was at the window for a few minutes, filled out paperwork, then brought it back to the window. It was done in less than 10 minutes. Within a few minutes of finishing my paperwork, the nurse was calling me back. Don't even want to spend time doing that? They have an online check-in system. The nurse was extremely friendly - despite the fact that I was in a lot of pain. She asked pointed questions, and she helped get all of the info the doctor needed - to the point that the doctor was only with me for a few minutes before prescribing what I needed, providing the instructions I needed, and getting me on my less-than-merry way. Worth noting that the place feels a bit frightening with their COVID procedures, but it's really nice to see what they're taking it seriously. Nurse called me a week later to make sure I was doing okay, to confirm the results of the test they had ordered, and make sure everything was going alright. A+ service! read more

I am appalled. Front desk woman was highly inappropriate and rude. my husband came in (alone) with a hand and wrist injury. Front desk woman gave my husband paperwork to fill out. After attempting to fill out the paperwork he told her that he tried but he was unable to due to his injuries. She laughed at him and tried to give him more paperwork telling him that if he doesn't fill it out they can't help him. I am in management at a different hospital. What she did is appalling. We have hand injury patients all the time and we have to help them. You can't expect someone with a hand injury to fill out a form. AND it's complete lack of professionalism, customer service and PATIENT CARE! At a place that says they care about patient care. What a joke! UPDATE: called Thursday morning and spoke to a "lead" regarding the situation. This woman told me that her supervisor would be calling me back in a few hours. It's now Saturday morning and I have heard nothing. The number I called is the number left in the google reply. No communication. No resolution. read more

I would describe the medical staff as dismissive. I went with my 23 yr old son to urgent care because he was so sick. He had been given antibiotic by his family doctor 10 days prior for the same symptoms and gotten better until the antibiotics ran out. He had slept almost constantly for 4 days, only getting up to use the bathroom. If he drank or ate anything, even water, he had diarrhea within 20 minutes. His coloring was so bad he looked dead and his eyes were redder than any I've ever seen. He couldn't make it down the steps in our home without sitting and resting. The medical assistant told him to double his water intake. Doubling his water intake, doubled his trips to the bathroom. The MA also told him twice to "cut down on coffee intake". This was AFTER my son told him that he couldn't even keep water down. If someone is telling you that he has slept almost straight for the last 4 days and is unable to even drink water, why would you twice advise that coffee isn't drank? I truly thought that the MA had not heard what my son had said about not being able to even drink water, so I asked him 'what was the point of drinking more if it wasn't going to to stay in my son'. He got a little snippy when he told me in order to have more fluids, he needed to drink more. (Not an explanation) If someone has barely been able to stay awake and has not been able to keep any fluids in him, I would think blood or urine sample would have been taken. I would think that most medical professionals would have treated my son's symptoms with seriousness instead of acting like he came in with a cough and running nose. We very much felt like they did not think he had anything more than a belly ache and that we were wasting their time. There are other options in Grove City so do yourself a favor and use one of them. read more

So far I have had a great experience there. Dr. Cotton was caring and attentive. I would recommend this location for treatment.

I went the other day for care and while the logging in/getting a wait time aspect didn't work on my phone, when I called they were extremely responsive and got me in within five minutes of calling. Maybe another five minute wait from going into the room to seeing the doctor. Doctor was very thorough and gave lots of information about the medication and condition so I knew why he was changing the medication. Told me to come back if I was having issues and he would try something else. Proactive, kind, and didn't rush out of the room and let's ask lots of questions. The nurse was very kind too. They were super fast and everything clean and safe despite being in a pandemic. read more

Why can't we give 0 stars? NEVER AGAIN!!! I checked in online and was told to arrive by 9:40 and wait in my car. "Call upon arrival". I called and was treated like an idiot for calling and not coming in. The receptionists were both super rude and acted like I was bothering them. They took my insurance card and didn't even ask for my name. While I was waiting for my cards back, the receptionist said, "can you just go sit down?". After waiting an hour I asked about getting my card back and was informed that I hadn't even been completely checked in yet since she hadn't input my info yet. I would have to sit down and wait until they are finished. It would be a couple more hours. When I started to explain that I had an appointment for 9:40 and it was now 10:40, I was rudely informed that other people checked in online and I had to wait my turn. What is the point in checking in online if I have to wait like I walked in? The receptionists were so rude I just got my card and told them that I was going elsewhere. She replied with a snarky "you have a great day too?" NEVER AGAIN!! Now I just need to find out who her boss is because people like that don't need to be in health care! read more

While visiting from out of state, I was stung by a bee on the tongue, which began to swell quickly. Family sent us to Grove City Mount Carmel Urgent Care, where the door was locked. The hours listed indicated they should be open, and the notice said "No appointment necessary". My husband called and the message said to make an appointment, so he called 911 and Jackson Township fire & rescue came to my aid in the parking lot, right at the front door of MCUC. Eventually, the MCUC doc came out to see if assistance was needed! When we returned home, I called to speak to the MCUC manager who criticized me for not going to a hospital ER, then hung up on me! My opinion is that these people do not care about their community. Glad I won't be needing their services again. read more

I am allergic to bug bites so at least once a year I have to get a shot to reverse the reaction. They always get me in and out within half hour. This month I was in and out in 20 minutes. My face was so swollen and they knew just what to do. Love the doctors and staff there. I live in Grove City. read more

Really unfortunate experience at this UC today. The nursing staff was great, but Dr. Cotton left a lot to be desired. I will not be back.

Always a good experience (despite being injured or sick). They are alwasy quick, friendly and take really good care of you

Absolutely horrible!! Didn't take their time with my xrays, sped through them, didn't even really look at my wrist, didn't really talk to me. My husband and I felt like they just wanted us the hell out. They gave me a ridiculous brace and it was extremely to big, after I told them, didnt care. Also she gave me the one for my right wrist instead of my left, and it was quite obvious, it probably said it on the box. She just didnt look. I had to go to another doc because the doctor didn't do his job! I got a completely different brace and actually looked at! read more
