I have been here several times in the past and would highly recommend it! The wines are good and the views are spectacular!

A hidden gem of a winery up in the hills of Saratoga! We did a wine tasting with them on a weekday (they're currently only open for tastings by appointment on weekdays). The ambiance and view up by their tasting area was amazing, definitely in one of our top favorites. You get a view of their vineyards as well as the entire bay with the mountains by Fremont/Milpitas/San Jose on the other side. The wine itself was very high quality and tasty. We had a chardonnay, a rose, and two other reds. Personal favorite was the chardonnay, and it's one of the ones they're most known for. Tom, the person who introduced us to the wines, was very knowledgeable and friendly. They also have two friendly dogs roaming around that like to say hello to guests. Note that the drive up is windy, narrow, and fairly sloped uphill, with some parts that are dirt (unpaved) roads. It's about 2 miles on the windy road before you get to the winery. There is good signage, but you'll want to drive slowly since the road is shared in both directions. It's worth it though!

What a great find!! The views and the wine are both spectacular!! The service and stories added to a great experience. The drive up and down is an adventure of its own. We were lucky there weren't other cars coming in the opposite way for that would have been stressful. But the staff said that is why they stagger the reservations to avoid people getting there and leaving at the same time. Will definitely come back for the great wine and experience.

Small hidden gem of a winery up in the hills in Saratoga. I've wanted to try it after hearing about it quite a few times, but they do currently only have tastings on weekdays due to difficulties securing enough staff to also offer tastings on weekends. The drive up is definitely a bit challenging; it's 2 miles up a fairly steep, 1 lane road with lots of switchbacks. That said, it's all worth it when you get to the winery and see the gorgeous view over the Peninsula and across the bay. Tom, who guided us through the wine tasting, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He provided a lot of interesting context about the vines and grapes that are grown on the estate and in the Santa Cruz mountains, which made me appreciate the wine more when I tasted it. We tasted their estate reserve Chardonnay, a Rosé, Pinot Noir, the Mt Eden Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Domaine Eden (which is also owned by Mt Eden) Cabernet Sauvignon. I'm normally more of a red person, but I have to say I enjoyed their Chardonnay the most. That's not surprising at all given it is the wine they are known for and have won awards for. I did enjoy all the other wines as well. Overall, would highly recommend visiting if you can. It was definitely a much shorter trek than going to Napa for wine, and you still get fantastic wine in a beautiful setting to go along with the tasting. PS. There are two adorable dogs that live on the estate who will sometimes come over the sit next to you while you are doing your tasting, which honestly made an already spectacular experience even better.

Absolutely stunning views! The wine is delicious, and our host Tom was incredibly nice and informative. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back! My only complaint is that they do not have weekend tastings.

Shocking. ** Chardonnay was out of this world. Good nose, legs, and mouth feel, long finish, but we still couldn't get past the $35 tasting fee pp and only $10 of the tasting fee is waived if you buy a bottle‼ That still brings it down to $25... Yikes! The wine attendant was drab, seemed uninterested in us..,,., no smile or joie de vivre. Not "welcoming " at all. 20% industry discount (parsimonious) Usually a 30% discount for industry /trade. 20% is usually a wine club discount. Signage is non-existent heading west. Drove by for a couple of miles looking for the sign. Positive: Chardonnay was very well balanced The first Pinot Noir was very well balanced Beautifully decorated for Christmas season Having ability to sit at a round table with the four chairs was a plus for us older folks. The wine attendant waited on us at the table which was a plus. Summary: Being a 70+ person I have a lot of experience growing grapes, a bit of hands on wine making, consuming wine since the early 70's, and pouring at several different winery tasting rooms in Paso Robles and Alameda. won't be back. 20 years ago the winery was booming with customers, the staff was very friendly and informative. The tasting fee was nonexistent if you bought a bottle it was waived. With so many other wineries to choose from we probably won't return.

(Bonus points for being dog and toddler friendly) Our older toddler had a blast on her first real pony ride, even after taking a bit of a tumble when Max got spooked. The staff said this usually doesn't happen and were super apologetic. My baby girl was fine and took it like a champ. She still had lots of fun! On the wine tasting: Wines: Awesome! I ordered their white wine flight, the chardonnay and rose were standouts for me even though I tend to like sauvignon blanc profiled wine more. Service: Great too, the staff was attentive and friendly Snacks/food: Ok, so like other reviews have said...my only critique of the wine tasting experience was that the cheese, meats, crackers, olives arrived completely packaged with flimsy plastic utensils. I was expecting a cute charcuterie board; basically the "platter" presentation just saves me a trip to Whole Foods -- but if you bring your own food, they will banish you 5 feet away to the less comfortable bench tables. It seems like they don't have a kitchen license, which is the reason for the packaged food. That said, I think the provided olives could have at least been the pitted variety. Anyway, literal champagne problems Vibes: The wine tasting area was shaded, relaxing, and comes with a great view of all the pretty horses coming and going.

The outdoor heaters were nice on an otherwise gloomy day. We had a few whiffs of manure while riders would walk by, I guess that's expected. Usually I'm not a fan of reds, but the Test Pilot (all blends, grapes grown on the estate) blew me away! I just wish the pours were bigger, and staggered vs served all at once. As others have mentioned, the cheese plate didn't have the best presentation (basically packaged + paper plates) and the wines all came out at the same time vs a more interactive experience that I've had at other wineries.

"mr jimmy" while much too civilized to be page incarnate is for sure the absolute best at what he does. the experience is essential if you have any interest in knowing why the original band is still considered the progenitor, the ne plus ultra as it were, of modern heavy metal/blues rock. i won't go on lest i descend into mindless fandom. let's leave it the same as my previous review, if you failed to see the original led zeppelin in msg or wherever, back when it mattered, and you're curious, book tickets next time - one hopes they'll do it here again.

The venue is beautiful for stage performances, and it's not massive so almost every seat has a good view. I was about five rows away from the stage, and it was incredible to see my favorite band and singer up close! Food and beverages are expensive, but that's typical. I think a can of Coke was more than $5. Don't bother trying to get an Uber back at night from this venue. Ubers are allowed up to the venue for pick ups I think half an hour or an hour after the show ends. I also think Uber won't bother picking up people here because it's a single, narrow, winding road up the mountain, which causes a ton of traffic. So drive up to the venue, carpool with friends, purchase the shuttle ride in advance, or brave through that hell hole situation.

(It bugs me when they just dumped wine in your glass and have you read the description on your own) Seven tastings of whites and reds for 10 bucks!! I had read reviews of someone complaining that they were mostly vintages, but first of all the wines arranged from 2013 to 2023, and secondly there wasn't a single wine on the tasting that I didn't enjoy. Even the Chardonnay, which is typically my least favorite type of white wine wasn't too buttery. At $10 a flight I didn't feel compelled to buy out my flight but you can with two bottles which we ended up doing since we enjoyed the flights. The bottles were really affordable ranging from 25 to 35 . I really couldn't decide between the Cabernet franc and the Zinfandel which were both complex yet with an easy finish Overall, a really nice experience to have before having dinner in downtown Saratoga
