Each provided great service and were wonderful hosts! For the wines, our group's favorites were the Sauvignon blanc and GSM. Since it was quite hot, the Sauvignon blanc was perfect! Despite the heat, we were very comfortable because of all of the umbrellas providing ample shade. A huge plus for us was that they were dog friendly too so we were able to bring 2 of our pups with us. We'll definitely be back here again!

But there wasn't one wine that I was upset about drinking, and I sipped each new sample with delight. I can't tell you what I loved more: the wines, or the lovely and attentive customer service of Lisa. Thank you for making me feel instantly at home in a new space. The entire grounds was a photoshoot waiting to happen, and I heard there are some lovely hiking trails right through this winery. Besides the absurdity (you could take one or more of their plastic water glasses and refill them as many times as you want), I wonder why someone who has chosen to be in the hospitality business also chose to display such an inhospitable (rude, even) message. Perhaps their intention was something like "If you refill your own water bottle (thanks for bringing it!), please ensure that the bottle does not touch the spigot." Or perhaps "Please help conserve water." Instead, it basically said "If you absolutely must have some water, we begrudgingly allow you to have a little bit of ours." Come on.

They have 5 tasting flights varying from $30, $40, $45, $60, and $65. 3 wines per flight and they pour a good portion. We got to try 3 different flights to share. Mount Eden Estate , Chardonnay, and Cabernet flight. All the wines were pretty good. Fruit forward and bold. Our favorites were the first Chardonnay , Pinot noir Tanaka project , and Cab from Mount Eden library. I believe it was 3 bottles purchase to waive a tasting fee. Pricey wines. It's nice and warm out in the late afternoon, but can get cold and windy once the sun goes down. They have two restaurants and a concession stand for food and drinks. For performance nights they open up a few bars. There are some spectacular views from different part of the property. I love that there are different areas to lounge and enjoy your food and drinks. The service is friendly and informative. If you're there for a performance you should arrive early for the best parking spots. Also be aware there are several steep inclines and declines on the property. If you have any issues with walking it might be a challenge as some areas are uneven. But they do offer golf cart rides to and from the parking lot to the main plaza as well as to the amphitheater. You just need to ask an employee nearby. There are no bad seats in the amphitheater from what I could tell. The sound is amazing, but can get loud for those sensitive to loud music. I would love to go back and see more performances at that venue and maybe try one of their restaurants.

The Overlook Luxury Lounge: The offer listed the 2 amenities of "Priority Entry (30 minutes before doors) to the lounge" and "Expedited Entry (Skip the Line) any time after doors". Both of these were false advertisement as none of the staff knew anything about the Overlook Luxury Lounge tickets (other than the one person standing inside by the Lounge stairway to check tickets). Thus, you end up waiting and going through the same long line as everyone else. The offer also listed the amenity of "One (1) complimentary welcome drink" which I imagined it to be a nice welcoming hand-mix cocktail that matches the "elegance" of the place and the expensive tickets you have to purchase just to enter the lounge. I was so wrong as the "welcome drink" turned out to be a can of cocktail or beer. A can of drink; really?! Why is such a cheap thing even listed as an amenity?  The Chateau La Cresta Restaurant: We made sure to get there early to not take any chance of missing on good seats. To our disappointment, despite arriving when only a couple tables were taken, they still insisted to sit us at what is the worst seating view-wise. Apparently they reserve  the best seats for some 'special' guests. The description upon purchasing tickets doesn't hint to their advance biased seats allocation. So it leaves you with the impression it will be first in first served for seating choices. As for the food, it was Ok but nothing special. Definitely not worth the cost. The service was rushed. You have to order all 3 items (dessert included) from the pre-fixe menu right away. My main entry came while I was half way through with the appetizer/salad. We were there at 1pm and another group came at 1:30pm. We all got to go on a short tour to the vineyard and the wine cellar basement. One bathroom in the house for guests to use. Driving up to the vineyard was very narrow and scary. There's 4-5 parking spaces. Very intimate and quiet tasting experience. Noelle and Bill were very friendly and welcoming. They only make about 300 wines. About 75 for each wine. Prices of the wines vary from $25-40. Their dog is very friendly. My husband got a nice extra splash for drinking his wine fast haha. Bill didn't want him to have an empty glass during the tour. Thoughtful of him! Definitely check out this vineyard if you like red wines and more intimate setting.

Al the owner was there working and happy to serve us! My girlfriend and I shared a tasting, it comes with 7 wines. I believe 2 whites, a rose, and 4 reds. Most of the wines he was serving were vintages and the some of the case pricings he is offering are great deals! I really enjoyed the lighter wines, the Voigner, Chardonnay and the Rose were quite good. I bought a bottle of Chard and Rose, and looking forward to opening them on a warm sunny day. Wish I grabbed two of the Chard but I work close by so I can drop in again.

I had read reviews of someone complaining that they were mostly vintages, but first of all the wines arranged from 2013 to 2023, and secondly there wasn't a single wine on the tasting that I didn't enjoy. Even the Chardonnay, which is typically my least favorite type of white wine wasn't too buttery. At $10 a flight I didn't feel compelled to buy out my flight but you can with two bottles which we ended up doing since we enjoyed the flights. The bottles were really affordable ranging from 25 to 35 . I really couldn't decide between the Cabernet franc and the Zinfandel which were both complex yet with an easy finish Overall, a really nice experience to have before having dinner in downtown Saratoga
