Since we were relocating from out of state, we wanted the flooring done before we arrived. We even had our realtor leave a lockbox so measurements could be taken in advance. We finalized the details and paid the deposit on June 26th -- then communication completely dropped off. No updates. No responses to follow-ups. Nothing. My husband finally drove down to Florida on July 7th to figure out what was going on -- only to find that demo had just started, two weeks later. Worse, the wrong areas were demoed, including our kitchen, hallway, and bathroom, which delayed work on our daughter's room. That alone made this experience extremely stressful for our family. Installation didn't begin until July 14th, and our furniture (already delayed and sitting in storage) was scheduled to arrive the 18th. Flooring was incomplete, and we were told if we delayed furniture again, they couldn't guarantee a future delivery date. We ended up picking up additional materials ourselves on July 21st, just to keep things moving. I had to call again on the 23rd to find out when they'd finish. They finally came on July 26th to complete the last room. The crew was friendly and the floors look nice now, but we had to ask them to reinstall all the doors and finish the master bathroom. The lack of communication throughout this entire process was unacceptable. We still have more rooms to do, but we will not be using Flooring Master again. We can't recommend them to anyone.

They were offering a free sink with countertop purchase when I was there. I did not find granite that I absolutely loved, but that was not an issue because they work with multiple other granite providers near the airport and in Ybor. Perfect! I found many granite options at those providers, and they marked off which pieces I loved, and they sent the information directly to Marsha. Marsha contacted me via email, and together we ruled out which granite was clearly not in my budget, then she worked up pricing for the remaining four. One of my favorites was left, and that's the one I went with. She set a date for two weeks out for installation due to their busy schedule. Her team showed up on time, and got right to work. My countertops turned out even more beautiful than I could have dreamed. The installers did have an issue once they drilled the hole where the faucet should go (cabinet was in the way), which I wish they had mentioned to me ahead of time, instead of me finding out about the issue only when my plumber showed up to install my faucet, but that was the only hiccup. Within 5 minutes, Elegant Touch had located a slab like the one we wanted, actually, it was several times more attractive than the original.
