I ordered a birthday arrangement in a basket with plants for a gift and I specifically said to put young succulents in it and the person that was helping me was very nice and showed me things that may have worked but then when the basket was delivered, first of all, it was $120 for five plants in one basket And I thought wow this is gonna look awesome. It was a small cactus and 4 adult plants which I asked not for I specifically asked for plants that were young and nothing hanging over and I received the complete opposite. why would they put a cactus which needs hardly any water in with plants that need lots of water? it was a waste of my money, and I was upset when it was delivered not what I expected way overpriced and not what I wanted. It looked as if I got five of the plants that were just barely hanging on. They did not look fresh. Also bought a hanging plant that was somewhat dying and I felt bad for it and I got a discount on it but was still over 20$ and then a few weeks later was at Ace hardware and they had a live beautiful version of plant for half the price. Okay ya'll. If you're considering getting your wedding flowers here just do it. I still can't believe the amazing experience I had with this shop. My husband and I decided to elope in Sedona this last Memorial Day weekend. We had about 2 months to plan it and never considered having a bouquet or boutonniere. It wasn't until 9 days before the wedding that my mother, last minute, said she really wanted us to have flowers and she wanted to gift that to us. Now I had to find flowers fast. I went to my trusty Yelp app (where I find everything) and this shop popped up with great reviews and some beautiful photos which resonated with my style. With fingers crossed I called to see if they could even put something together so last minute. I mean there were sooooo many weddings in Sedona that same weekend I was surprised there were any flowers left. The women I spoke to were so helpful and quick to answer questions. They had me email them some inspirational photos and discussed color and fullness. I ended up going with a small bouquet and didn't expect it to have many flowers in it for the price I was (mom was) paying. Flash forward to May 29th. We went to pick up the flowers and I swore the wind was knocked out of me. They were absolutely GORGEOUS. Beyond anything I could have hoped for. I told them I wanted something desert inspired, loose and romantic. Ladies, this checked every box. Let me just say the photos don't do it justice. It's so hard to send flowers from a distance as almost everything has been monopolized by 1800flowers/teleflora. Mountain High Flowers had an option for a "florist's choice" bouquet so my brother and I took a shot with that for our Mom's birthday and we couldn't be happier with their creation! Nothing is easy to get in Sedona and, just from the selection I've seen in the local grocery stores, I'm guessing flowers are no exception. It's almost more about the design of a bouquet than the contents itself and they excelled at presentation and creativity. It was beautiful and unique, just like their recipient. Repeatedly disappointing. I personally would not risk using this florist to send a bouquet delivery. Last year Mountain High delivered two inferior and mediocre floral arrangements at the same time... both sent by my over-the-top generous brother, one for a birthday and the second as a "thank you." Mountain High apologized and replaced them with bouquets that were greatly improved, yet still not worth the extravagant cost imo and also didn't last long. I just received two more substandard and unsatisfactory bouquets for the second year in a row! One from my brother and a second from both my brother and mother, though one card was missing and in its place were order instructions (tacky). I suggested my brother request a refund since this happened last year too. He had forgotten it was the same florist, and now reminded expressed surprise over Mountain High's excellent rating which seems undeserved based upon our repeat poor experiences. Producing and delivering two separate underwhelming and expensive bouquets both years (total of 4 arrangements, or 6 if counting last year's replacements) seems more indicative of substandard quality and inattentive indifference rather than an exception or blipp. Upon reading Yelp reviews prior to writing this one, I noted the florist's comment about its 100% refund satisfaction guarantee. I texted my brother, who replied that he had already contacted the business and received a 50% refund (likely the % he requested as a generous and fair-minded person; and since flowers are like pizza, and even bad flowers are still good lol). read more
