Both individuals who assisted me were very courteous and professional. Neither of them made me feel rushed or a burden even though time is very important to them. Therefore, I tried to make my inquiries as direct and succinct as possible. She answered with an attitude. I explained previously I wasn't too good with highway names and exact location before I tried to explain and she was very rude, dismissive, and made the process a lot harder than it should've been. She kept cutting me off as I was giving her the name of the highway to tell me "I don't understand what your saying" "you are making no sense at all" mind you, I was purposely speaking loud, clear, and slowly so she can hear what I'm saying. I called her out for being rude to me and that there was no reason to be rude... all the sudden she knew the location of this and understood me very clearly. Do better.

They are all very responsive, respectful and kind. Their community engagement is 2nd to none. One morning when I was driving my kids to school, my children wanted to wave to an officer at are stop light . The officer not only waved back, but he had a conversation with my kids about our cat and the officers cat. It was pretty funny hearing my 4-year old twins speaking to this officer at a red light about are cat and theirs. It made my kids day. Another interaction was with Cpl. Lou, who pulled me over for a minor infraction. He spoke to me kindly with respect. He asked for my documents, and while he was waiting for them he held a brief conversation with me about a topic I brought up. He ran my information and gave me a warning. Lastly, I was pulled over by Off. McBride for an expired registration. I didn't realize my req was expired (100% my fault) and he brought it to my attention. He was very kind, respectful, and informative. He wrote me a fix-it-ticket and explained in detail how to take care of it and resolve it. Again, it was 100% my fault I let my reg lapse, so I can't be mad about a ticket. Like I said, BPD is the gold standard of small town police departments. They are hiring excellent officers who are doing an excellent job of keeping Brentwood safe. I feel safe when walking around at night with my kids and that's a great feeling.

I reached out to the dispatcher who was focused and caring. Officer Connor Johnson arrived on scene and I was nervous and frustrated because it became a hit and run. This young man spent time with me explaining what would happen and what to expect after the fact as they were trying to locate the driver who happened to be intoxicated. I was hesitant because he was an officer. He was such a professional and a gentleman the whole time. If all officer was as kind and respectful as this young man was. It would totally improve the relationship in the community. He got my information as I kept most of it in my phone e and at the moment couldn't recall the info to unlock my phone. His patience and assurance at a time I truly needed helped me to calm down and regain my focus to get into my phone. He sat with me as he processed the information and made sure I was calm enough to make it home. Oakley Police Department he is a keeper and I am saying give this young man the biggest raise because he represents r this department is best light and provides such wonderful service to assist me. I felt protected and assured the whole entire time. If I ever need an officer I will request Mr. Johnson. . He is awesome and if this is the image and brand of the OPD. I applaud this gentleman. Thank you, officer Johnson, Connor!

Thanks Officer Pizzo! Proceeding that, the visit to the police station or the records office was pretty efficient (granted that you arrive first thing in the morning). The two times I made a trip here last month, there was like one other person (s) ahead of me, but each encounter was quick and no long waits if you call their line. Parking at the MPD is not a problem, depending on the time of day you come in. My biggest gripe is that MPD charges you $15 for a CD your laptop or CD player doesn't recognize. Or maybe it's just my laptop. But that's why it's important to take your own pictures and videos at the scene of an accident, crime, photo-op, etc. Also MPD charges for paper copies of your report when everything is digital nowadays! This is my hometown and I've lived in Milpitas since the first grade (or early 90s) and as an adult, I can say I feel pretty safe in Milpitas, thanks to our community of police officers, admin, fire and EMTs. We are protected because of your commitment to our safety (and have a sense of normalcy in our diverse community). As always, thank you!
