Love coming here, so happy they got through the hurricane. The people are always sweet and recommend things based on what you're looking for. My fav is the almond butter crunch!
first off, the seating. it's very obviously set up to NOT be used. they want you in & out. mountain juicery hasn't been organic for years. i've seen products peaking out from behind the counter & have tried asking many times with an odd confused response each time. they sadly deceive their customers with false advertisement (on the road sign) & don't care. i've started conversations with other customers outside of the store as well, & they had similar experiences. prices have gone up but quality has not, in fact, it has significantly dropped in the past few months. the plumbing stinks at times, smells like it has been backed up for months. i've also heard they trash a lot of juices & don't really care to donate, you'd think a local business would look into helping the community in some way. i'm all for supporting local business, but ONLY WHEN THEY ARE RUN WITH INTEGRITY & HONESTY. Mountain Juicery, is not. they do not care about their employees or their ingredients. a shame.. & a scam. take your business to places that actually care about you & your health.
I tried the Hot Detox Cider and the You Lift Bro Smoothie. I'll start with the Cider, which was absolutely amazing! The ginger, turmeric, and cayenne pepper were just what I needed! Then I enjoyed the Smoothie! The flavors were nicely blended together and the protein powder was not overly empowering. When I am in the area again, I will definitely be back!
What a great local place to get juice. I love their juice. It's fresh made, always consistent and lasts a long time too. Only complaint is I wish they used glass bottles, but I understand to cut costs. They also have delicious cookies, as well as smoothies and other healthy items I enjoy when I'm not cleansing. I am grateful to give them my business. I hope they stay around during this tough time!
The perfect smoothie stop in Asheville. They are quick, clean, kind and have more options than I've ever seen in any smoothie space and the ingredients and blends are creative. Love their vegan proteins. I had the blue ridge mountain bowl and was a little nervous for a coconut water base and a sprinkle of matcha powder on top but holy cow I can't stop thinking about it. My husband loved his bro bowl and we felt energized, full and refreshed after. It was sweet to see some interactions staff had with regulars. Love it.
Mountain Juicery is a juice bar/smoothie shop with two locations; one in Asheville & one in Hendersonville. I was on my way to therapy to talk about all those weird dreams I've been having lately about people wearing giant banana suits chasing me, so decided to check out the one on Hendersonville Road in Asheville. (My therapist is downtown.) They're open seven days a week and are the perfect place for breakfast, a healthy lunch, or a mid afternoon pick me up. The Mountain Juiceries are also a great place to stock up for a juice cleanse. The Asheville local is right off Hendersonville Rd. in a large shopping plaza - so there's a ton of free (Yay!!) parking. It's really cute on the inside, with bar seating, and rocking chair style seating for (very tiny) children - plus cute plants everywhere. The people working there were all super nice - and extremely helpful when it came to deciding on what to order out of the large selection of smoothies, juices, and elixirs and smoothie bowls. Oh, just fyi; they also have pre-packaged juices and protein bites in yum flavors like 'chocolate chip' and 'brownie'; which are great to grab and go. I decided on a 'Chocolate Cherry Protein One' Smoothie, which was delish - and (not surprisingly) had bananas in it. It also had nomz chewy chunks of fresh cherries which made it extra tasty. And, even though it was suuuper healthy - it tasted indulgent as well. It was very thick, creamy - and not gross sugar sweet, with just the right fruit/chocolate flavor combo. Something also *very cool* about Mountain Juicery is that they use ingredients from local farmers. Also; I feel like the best part of my visit was that no one judged me when the girl behind the counter said "banana" and I got the thousand yard stare for like three minutes and forgot (a couple times) what I was going to order.
I tried the "chocolate cherry protein one" which was delicious and very filling. If definitely recommend it!The employees are so friendly and knowledgeable. They will even work with you to come up with your own smoothie creation if you want! There's also a loyalty card program if you buy 14 smoothies you get the 15th free. ++Bonus points for the "kids" smoothie board selection!

The smoothies were made super quick, I ordered the Cold Kicker and the Matcha Mint and they were absolutely amazing! The Cold kicker is slushy like and fruity with a fun punch that's very refreshing. The Matcha Mint is so unique and definitely worth trying, none of the flavors overpower each other, it's just balanced very nicely and I would even call it a insanely healthy milkshake because of how amazingly creamy and thick it was! read more

Since my partner and I have moved to Asheville, we've been searching for the perfect smoothie place...and I believe we found it today!! The employees were very sweet and they're definitely some hard workers. There were so many options to choose from (bowls, smoothies, juices, healthy snacks.) and also LOVED the $5 juice section! My partner got the 'The Chocolate Cherry Protein One' smoothie and I got the Peanut Butter Crunch smoothie. Words cannot describe how lovely they both were! So filling & flavorful! I can't wait to show our vegan/gluten free friends this place! The store was so clean and organized and makes you wanna come back again! read more

They offer a most excellent variety of cold pressed juices! So fresh and clean tasting that as soon as you drink them it feels like your cells instantly absorb the precious nutrients. Invigorating, revitalizing and addictive! Our favorites are the Shades of Green Plus, Pisgah Pear Ale and Almond Milk. They also offer a creative variety of tasty smoothies as well. We love coming here and are so happy to have this type of goodness in S AVL. The owners take great pride in their business and are usually there to greet you and help you make a selection if you can't decide. We hope one day they install a pressed juice ATM like Sprinkles cupcakes has in CA so that we could access this nourishing juice 24/7!! I was feeling a bit under the weather and their hot Detox Cider was exactly what I was looking for on a crisp fall day! It was the perfect balance of slightly sweet and healthy, and not TOO spicy. The soft vegan chocolate chip cookies were AMAZING too! read more

OHHH MOMMAAA!! I have recently started to dip my toes into the juice pool that seems to have everyone in Asheville going for a swim. It seems like a lot of places in Asheville offer their version of local healthy juices. I have tried a few different places, some good and some, well....you know. Mountain Juicery is bar far my favorite. They have an awesome selection of choices for juices and smoothies that have me feeling healthy and looking like a local. I have been here a few times now, thankfully it is about 3 minutes from my work, and I have yet to be disappointed. Their shop is awesome. Very simple, which shows that they focus of keeping things simple and not adding things just for show. Which I relate to their juices and smoothies. Simple healthy ingredients, not adding a bunch of random things. Which is essentially was juice is all about. The owners are two brother who are super friendly and who will take the time to answer questions you may have. Because let's be honest, knowing about all of the different ingredients and what they do is a lot to understand at first. read more

I had the pina kale ada & wheatgrass shot. My smoothie was not that great....for $6+ for 16 oz I expect perfection. I'll be visiting again to try some other options. read more

Mountain Juicery is relatively new to town. They use high quality, locally sourced fruits and veggies to go in the juices you'll be drinking. The bottled juices you can buy and take home are great tasting and well priced. The elixirs are like a shot of goodness. Didn't try a smoothie on this trip, but I'll be back to try one soon! A knowledgeable and friendly staff makes this place worthy of all 5 of those stars. Highly recommended. read more
