i love this spot! as a kid, frozen yogurt shops like this were one of my favorite things in the world. i came here on my birthday a couple weeks ago; that time was perfect and made me want to come back the very next day. the girl working the counter that evening (4/8) was very friendly! i just went back this evening, (4/20) because this is the only frozen yogurt place in the area that i could find that carries the classic tart flavor (my favorite)! i hope it never leaves, it's surprisingly the best! oh and the service was great this time as well :) it's self serve which is part of the fun, since you can customize to your liking! it's a very clean, cute, colorful, and classic froyo shop with all the best toppings and flavors. highly recommend for those who love the usual setup for the experience of a self serve froyo shop! read more

Ok, my review is weighted heavily on the nondairy options - green apple sorbet and a coconut sorbet (or something like that) made from almond milk. Green apple sorbet is NOT conducive to toppings except caramel. I could not even bring myself to try the coconut flavor despite it being made with almond milk (I do not eat dairy at all so I was looking for vegan ice cream...not your fault coconut is one out of maybe six flavors on the planet I detest). How about a vanilla vegan flavor so we can add any topping we want and make any flavor profile we want and not pigeon hole us into having to make a caramel apple frozen dessert? Delightful little spot in Biltmore Park. I went here twice and was delighted. The workers are young and a little distracted, but kind. I love that they have a ton of healthier options. They have some sugar-free and more natural flavors. A good amount of berry and healthy as well as not healthy toppings. But I'm kind of a basic girl anyway. Seems pretty clean. Inside was a little bright and empty. I wish they had better seating or something outdoors but I know that would be hard in the area. Took the kids and some family. It was ok. We like frozen yogurt and it is a nice treat once and a while l, but if I'm going to take a cheat day, I would have much more preferred something with more quality ingredients over what tasted like it was built around a long list of artificial sweeteners just so they can list there yogurt as either sugar or fat free. No offense, but If you're a diet soda drinker or someone who doesn't mine a long list or artificial sweeteners you'll be right at home. Ordered soft serve for dessert; delivered through GrubHub. The driver did a wonderful job. However, I'm a little unhappy with GrubHub. I was fine paying the overpriced mark-up. I was okay paying a $6 delivery fee. The 20% tip didn't amount to much. But what really irritated me was the $2 small order fee that I wasn't informed about until after placement. I understand that they have a business to run, but $21 for 12oz of yogurt:gelato to be delivered is beyond overkill. At least now I know, lol. I had the 6oz New York cheesecake yogurt with cheesecake bites, and my husband had the 6oz chocolate obsession gelato with brownie bites. I personally didn't think my ice cream tasted anything like cheesecake; it was more like a lemon cream IMHO. I discovered later that it was sugar-free, which might be why it didn't taste sweet. I took a bite of my husband's gelato and liked it much more than mine. His was chocolate with a touch of sweetness, and the brownie bites made it a cup of chocolate perfection. I can see us returning here so long as we're in the area; I definitely won't order it for delivery again. Stopped here after grabbing a bite to eat in Biltmore Park. As school is out and summer is near, you can imagine the rush this place gets after dinner time, and boy did the employee at the register, Klaire, handle it with so much patience! Kids in front of us were giving her a hard time with the yogurt machine and toppings and she handled it so kindly, and helped us and recommended some of her favorites to us. No tasting cups due to COVID. They had a box of gloves to grab some at the front but they were all stuck together and I had to touch them all to get them apart. Defeats the whole purpose. This past Saturday was the first snow of winter in Asheville! We always go get ice cream or yogurt when this happens and we're so excited to try out this place. We arrived at about 9:15 (their website said they closed at 10) and everything was completely closed down. Another couple actually approached moments after us and were similarity confused. The door even indicated that they would be open until 10. I understand winter hours for frozen yogurt but this building was supposed to be open in a Saturday night due to all their own postings. I am a firm believer in frozen yogurt. I mean, it's freakin' delicious. YaYa's frozen yogurt is delicious and their flavors occasionally change but are ALWAYS delicious. Best of all? This stuff is actually pretty healthy. Also, I absolutely love the fun and casual atmosphere that YaYa's offers. It's very kid friendly and the employees are awesome with giving out free samples. My only complaint, and the only reason I'm only giving YaYa's 4 stars is because I wish they had more toppings. While they do have a pretty great selection, I have seen better. While visiting my relatives I discovered this great little shop in Biltmore Park near their home. It's perfect. Decorated bright and whimsical. the one young male staff member (wish I remembered his name but he's from the south) was cheerful, eager to help, and seemed to love his job.
