Our online order got messed up, when we showed up they gave us a mini pizza when we ACTUALLY ordered 2 large pizzas. When we talked to the manager,Dave, about it he was so understanding. I placed a delivery order for a mountain size pizza. Upon delivery, I noticed the toppings were stuck to the top of the box as if something heavy was placed on the box. I called the issue in and spoke to the owner of the location. He was very understanding of the issue and was quick to fix the problem as well. This place is operated by very friendly people. The pizza is excellent! . I ride my motorcycle here from San Francisco because its the best. They have plenty of topping and the crust is crispy. They try! But sometimes the Mt Veggiemore does not have enough toppings and cheese which destroys it. Sometimes they cut the vegetables so small that when there's not enough of them the pizza is tasteless from cooking. It's a huge disappointment when that happens because I look forward to it. When they get that pizza right it's heaven. When they miss the mark it's not worth eating. Hope they see this and get it more consistent. I have been lucky to have been to many Mountain Mike's Pizzas since their pizza is so good, but this Mountain Mike's is the best I have been to! The dining room and restroom are immaculate and pristine clean, while being inviting and comforting. There are many large TVs if you are bored, but if your pizza is ready- all you will want is to focus on eating as much quality pizza as you can!! To top it off, the service was excellent. Dave was really nice and helpful; with all the guests. He was also inviting and genuinely fun to talk to. If Mountain Mike was a person, he would wish everyone represented him like Dave. Was looking for a pizza place and found Mountain Mike's online. When my wife and I got to the Millbrae location I was a little unsure as it looked a bit like a hole in the wall. However, once inside the staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. We had the classic pepperoni which was delicious. Really great pizza place! Other than the tasty food, I appreciated how they went the extra mile with their service. We placed an order on thanksgiving right before closing, and they stayed open late so we could come pick up the pizza. They even threw in some free cheesy bread and soda for the holiday. Not super bad, but definitely a more commercial-tasting pizza. Went for the all you can eat lunch- kinda pricy ($17) but you do get pizza, a salad bar, fountain drink (ugh, Pepsi)-- the guy working (Dave) was really nice though, and said if we wanted to order a specific pizza, just let him know. We did that, and what came out fresh was waaaay better than what was sitting under the heat lamps. Dining room is spacious & fairly clean. Overall-- was just ok. read more
