come for the tapenade. it is the sleeper hit of this restaurant and leaves a sparkling first impression
    Elisa H.

Service is so good at this neighborhood bistro and a few dishes stand out. The free bread is worth the calorie splurge, simply because their tapenade is absolutely spectacular, with beautiful olives and shallots. If it is summer, the heirloom burrata can be ordered to make a beautiful bruschetta with the tapenade and bread. The Arancini is also good, as expected. I really like the Octopus spaghetti as a shared pasta because it is a heavy dish with a lobster bisque type of sauce. Somehow the octopus is tender not chewy, which is quite a culinary trick given the small pieces of octopus. Today I ordered the Petrale sole special, which was very good and arrived very hot. the portion was generous and the sauce was divine. the meh mashed potatoes were elevated by the sauce. This establishment does a great job of steaming or sautéing seasonal veggies ( I took mine home to make a primavera for later. Finally, iced tea game is strong, fresh brewed with no bitterness and part of the great service.is being on top of my refills.

Well, what can I say about this place. This place gives off the Italian vibe that you were looking for if you are staying in Burlingame or just visiting. It is a classy joint. The price prices are just about par the area and restaurant. If you love Italian food definitely come here. You will not be disappointed. Try the appetizer calamari it's the best.

We had a reservation for lunch time and when we came it wasn't busy so a reservation wasn't necessary. We were greeted with friendly staff. Our server was really sweet and accommodating to any dietary restrictions. We were celebrating my graduation and they were kind enough to give us a lemon cheesecake on the house. I ordered the Penne Ala Vodka. It was really good and it was different from what I was expecting with a ala vodka sauce usually being red but this one was a white sauce. The restaurant is modern and also gives off classic Italian vibes.

Our valentine's day extravaganza ended with a bang at this Italian spot. It's nice and cozy a bit away from downtown Burlingame and it is THE PERFECT date spot. We had reservations and were seated right away. They seemed t be super busy and served us right away. They did take a while with the water and bread refills. We ended our meal with Tiramisu and it was delicious. The coffee taste stood out. We were trying to take a selfie and the hostess offered to take one for us. Such a happy restaurant with happy employees!

A nice neighborhood restaurant that has a classy ambiance yet comfortably casual. They have a small bar area and a couple of bar seating available. A good selection of wine but is still waiting on their liquor license to serve beer and other cocktail drinks. Service was a bit slow. Though the place was not packed, it took a bit for our food to be served. It helped that the bread came out quickly. The dip for the bread was very good. That was really enjoyable. The heirloom burrata starter was a missed. Although good portion, it was bland and poorly seasoned. Our entrees however, were delicious! We had the Octopus Spaghetti and the Linguine Vongole. Each dish had very distinct flavors and tastefully pleasing! We ended the meal with the tiramisu. It was simple, light and homely.

Loved my experience, everything was super delicious!! Came in on a Friday at around 5pm with a group of 2, no reservation. At this time there's lots of tables out reserved for bigger tables - if you are coming for a special event I would definitely recommend reserving beforehand so there's no risk of not getting a table. The staff was very kind and prepped a small table for the 2 of us even though they were pretty full. The food is amazing!! We got the Octopus Pasta and the Halibut Special. Everything was cooked perfectly - the fish was super crispy outside and so tender on the inside, couldnt have been cooked better. It was well seasoned and went great with the lemon sauce. The pasta was very generous with the amount of seafood for the price, and the sauce was super creamy. Delicious and definitely hit the spot for us! The desserts were also amazing, we had tiramisu and affogato, both delicious no notes. Perfect end to the meal! Service was awesome, we got multiple check-ins throughout the meal and never ran out of water. Such a wonderful dinner! Seems great for big groups and special dates. One of my fave Italian spots to date actually. Highly recommend a visit!

Bistro Arancini is the kind of restaurant that immediately makes you feel at home. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed with a cozy charm that encourages you to settle in and enjoy the experience. The staff greets you with genuine warmth and their attentiveness throughout the meal adds to the feeling that you are in good hands. The menu highlights fresh ingredients and beautifully balanced flavors and every dish arrives with thoughtful presentation that never feels over or under done. Every plate was packed with flavor and just enough to share bites around the table while still enjoying your meal (if you're into the share). Whether you are sharing a leisurely meal with friends, coworkers, or enjoying a quiet dinner for two this restaurant delivers a comforting memorable dining experience that invites you to return again and again.

Bistro Arancini serves up some delicious Italian food in an elegant setting. For a table of 3, we shared the heirloom burrata as an appetizer. For entrees, we had the branzini served with mashed potatoes and vegetables, seafood lasagna, and the seafood paella. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding. All of us agreed the food and service were excellent. My friends enjoyed their red and white wines poured by the glass. For a Monday night, the place rather quiet. We would definitely come back.

We parked on the street and walked into the first restaurant that was open, which was Bistro Arancini. We were seated quickly because a little more than half. The restaurant was empty. The bread presentation was beautiful. We enjoyed the tomatoes and olive oil. I ordered the bouquet and my friend. She ordered the chicken Parmesan. Both of us were not impressed with the flavors although we were super hungry because we were walking around all day with heavy backpacks. I asked the waiter for hot sauce or any pepper sauce and he said yes, but never came back with any so I was using the salt and pepper on the table to try to give my meal a little bit of flavor. My friend, she just decided to pack up the rest of her food and add spice to it when she came home and maybe it'll be a nicer experience. Overall, the restaurant was really clean and the presentation of the food was nice.

Cute, nicely decorated restaurant on Broadway. Seating inside and to the front along the sidewalk. Service was good. Not busy on this Tuesday night with only a sprinkling of diners. Couldn't decide between the pesto ravioli or the chicken parm. Asked the waiter and he excitedly said the chicken parm. I couldn't pass it up with that kind of response. But, sadly, I was underwhelmed. Sauce is a light, watery type and I prefer a darker, but that doesn't make it bad. The chicken was the disappointment here. It came with two cutlets that were pounded flat and perfectly oval shaped. This made it tougher than I like. This gave it a TV dinner appearance and feel. Too bad. Comes with a good amount of spaghetti which was good. Wouldn't order this dish again but would try the restaurant again. Cream brûlée was good.

Stopped in and ordered the crabcakes, bucatini, and octopus spaghetti. The crabcake tasted better than it looks, but it was a little heavy on the filling. The two pastas were good enough to eat but neither that memorable. Finished our meal with bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and creme brulee. I enjoyed the bread pudding more of the two but both were solid.

It was another spectacular dining experience here last night (Friday) at Bistro Arancini. We brought two bottles of wine (corkage $25 per bottle) and were served delicious in house bread with warm olive oil and garlic. Ordered 2 Caesar salads for 3 people and I ordered the Pasta Linguini w class, my friends ordered the Chicken Parmigiano and the fresh Halibut fish with sautéed spinach and vegetables with fresh lemon to squeeze. Desserts were so good, one chocolate lava cake and one bread pudding. This is one of Burlingame's epic Italian restaurants. It's a jewel and you need to find out for yourself by having dinner here. I applaud the service where servers actually know how to do their jobs.

I came here for a dinner and our large party was seated inside on the left. Unfortunately there was no ac in the restaurant since the windows were opened and it got pretty warm over the course of the 2 hr dinner. Highly recommend sitting by the window or outside because of this. First off, there's a single server who spoke English who seemed pretty overwhelmed by al the requests everyone made. The other servers didn't speak English and always had to request the main server, even for chili pepper flakes or bread. It took quite awhile for our apps and then main dishes to get ordered. The server tried pushing a lot of appetizers on our large party. An olive and oil dip was brought to our table but we had to ask for bread. The bread was cold and a little stale - it would have benefited from being warm. Appetizers were all ok, we had ordered a variety - brushetta, salads, arancini. All were sub-par, and could have used more seasoning. After the appetizers, we had to wait quite awhile more for the main dishes to arrive. Again, all were sub-par, and I felt I could've made these better at home myself. Overall, if you want a very casual, slow dinner than stop by. But if you want a tasty meal that satisfies your hungry stomach, then I would suggest to look elsewhere.

So, coming here, first off, ALL the people who work here are wonderful. Very kind, professional, helpful and they act like they want to be here. I was helped quite a bit by Yesenia, and she was amazing, took great care of me! So kudos to management for what seems to be that, in turn, they take good care of their staff. It was a fairly long line to order and, at first, I sorta wished they had table service instead -- but it ended up moving fairly quickly and was very easy to order. They give you a number and you choose your own table, either inside or outside. On a Saturday morning, although it was busy, there were plenty of tables. My coffee came right away and it is good coffee. And I was told its Crepevine's own branded coffee, organic blend. My Thai crepe came not too long after. It usually comes with both peanut sauce and pesto. But I don't like pesto (and what does that have to do with Thai anyway?) so I asked for it to be prepared with just the peanut sauce. Unfortunately, that got lost and what I was served came with no sauces at all in the crepe. They were happy to take it back and have it re-done and it came out and a short time later with the peanut sauce inside ... and was nice and hot -- and delicious! The side salad that comes with the crepe usually has balsamic vinaigrette but I noticed that one of the menu items is a Thai Salad so, in keeping with the theme, I asked if they could put the dressing for that salad on my side salad and they said no problem, and it was very good -- a lemongrass dressing. The home potatoes were decent although I like mine well done with crispy edges, which these weren't, so I'd probably ask for that next time. And, btw, the value for the money is really good -- they give you A LOT of food! I actually couldn't finish everything on the plate. That all said, I don't think I'll come here on a regular basis, don't live nearby, but I'll definitely come back again, maybe when I have a guest in town -- it was a good meal at a good price and with excellent service and atmosphere, and the few minor problems I had were solved very quickly and efficiently, so 5 stars well deserved.

The BBQ chicken was my personal favourite, while others liked the Calabrese + honey. I thought that one just tasted like a plain pizza with tomato sauce and honey. I really liked the funghi as well as the cheese was rich. The Margherita was normal. A lot of these pizzas had bitter-tasting leaves instead of something less sharp like spinach. Each pizza was around $20-25. Service was fine.

The house music was bumpin' and with the purple lighting inside, the whole vibe reminded me of Fluid Lounge in the city (iykyk). Sister resto to Roma Antica, Bottega, 'Napizza, and The Rustic in the city and Capri Lasagneria in Burlingame, Mykonos has been on my list to go to since they opened in 2020. Gabriel was, hands down, one of the best servers I've ever had. He was professional, attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Great service can completely change a dining experience, and Gabriel is a perfect example of that. There are countless great restaurants and dining options throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area, but Gabriel's exceptional service was honestly a major reason we chose to come back to Kincaid's a second night in a row. That says a lot. Our second experience was every bit as good as the first. Gabriel remembered us, once again provided phenomenal service, and made us feel like valued guests rather than simply another table. That level of hospitality is rare, and it deserves to be recognized. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was amazing, and Gabriel's service was absolutely exceptional. I cannot say enough great things about him. If you visit Kincaid's, I highly recommend requesting Gabriel, you will be in excellent hands. I travel quite a bit for work and eat at many restaurants, and experiences like this are the ones you remember. Gabriel is an incredible representative of Kincaid's and a huge asset to the restaurant. I will absolutely be returning the next time I'm in the area. And Gabriel, as promised, I'll also be filling out that member application! Five stars all around, and a special thank-you to Gabriel for making two nights at Kincaid's truly memorable.

We had been given a voucher for a free appetizer from the Doubletree by Hilton after checking into the hotel and telling the front desk clerk that we wanted to have dinner here. We were excited and decided we'd just eat casually in the bar area. As we entered the host's desk with about 3 female employees there, we weren't greeted warmly nor with smiles as we asked if it was okay to sit in the bar area? The Asian female host just looked at us sternly and points to the bar area. Okay....times have changed. We walked in and decided to sit by the window. Hayley was our waitress and she was welcoming as we told her it's been awhile since we'd been here so she said "Well, welcome back!" We decided to order the warm roasted crab & artichoke dip as our appetizer, the 16 oz. Ribeye which my friend wanted as Medium-Well done and a glass of Pinot Noir which Hayley suggested. She gladly had me try a sample of the Pinot and was able to describe the notes and what she preferred. I went with that. When the crab/artichoke dip came, I noticed the top was dry and not moist as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp. We ate it but that was something to note as it wasn't the same tantalizing dip I used to enjoy. When the entree came, my friend and I had split the steak and had even ordered an extra portion of whipped potatoes. I usually order my steak Medium Rare but my friend & I noticed the meat wasn't even marbled and seemed to be more like a Sirloin cut? For Medium-Well done, my friend's cut was still bloody? She asked to have them refire it after she saw her portion, so they did. We both had a hard time cutting thru the meat which should've been tender if it was a Ribeye and chomped on the tough meat. After a few bites we were very disappointed and told Hayley. She told us she'd talk to the kitchen. Alex, the Manager that night apologized, listened to her concerns, told us he'd remove the entree from our bill and took our plates. Hayley was apologetic as well but we said it wasn't her fault. We paid our bill and we said we wouldn't be back after this experience. They've sadly gone downhill. When we got back to the hotel we told the front desk clerk what happened just so he was aware. Then my friend got something to eat at the hotel lobby because she was still hungry. My friend used to dine regularly at Fleming's, Ruth Chris Steakhouse and I've had Ribeye's that I cook regularly and at other restaurants. Even Texas Roadhouse makes a better steak! I don't know how the restaurant is doing but front and back of house should be aware.

My son loves to get the 2 slider kids menu item and douse it in ketchup. The regular hamburger is pretty good but I still have yet to try the other burgers and chicken sandwiches. They look really good! The restaurant is unpretentious, spacious, and we didnt feel self conscious with having a very excited toddler yelling "choo-choo train!!" every time a train passed. Highly recommended! They also have a covered outdoor space for private events as well! Might need to cater from them for a birthday in the near future!

We initially sat outside on their patio (which was quite nice) and moved inside as the night got colder. We ordered one classic burger with American cheese and one Outlaw. We also subbed our fries for parmesan garlic fries and tots. The burgers were really tasty; we especially enjoyed the classic burger. The tots were also great - crispy and perfectly fried. The parmesan garlic fries had good flavor but were too oily for our liking. For drinks, we got a blonde bombshell shake which was vanilla with strawberry drizzle around the glass. Service was very friendly and attentive, and their seating (both indoor and outdoor) is comfortable and spacious. As we ate our meal, we had a window view of the sunset. Our dinner came out to $70+ which was a bit steep but we enjoyed our experience.
