I ordered two medium pizzas, came home and multiple pieces had PLASTIC stretchy strands in them (see photo of plastic that was in the pizza). I fed my kids this pizza and who knows if they consumed plastic, unbelievable. What a MAJOR health code violation, I hope my family doesn't get sick. I threw the rest of the pizza away. My second visit, a little better than my first. Dine-in again, but they're still only set up for take-out. The woman at the cash register, Malu, was polite and friendly. But I was given a to-go box for the salad bar, instead of a real bowl. And the pizza was handed to me in a to-go box again. At least she offered me a paper plate. The high point was the beer. She used a pitcher first, because Lagunitas IPA is foamy, and after my glass was full, she offered me the beer that was left in the pitcher. I ordered "The Everest (Mini) with thin crust" + "Tuscan Garlic (Small) regular crust" + tax + tip = $30. I didn't taste or feel any difference between thin vs regular crust, none of the tastes wowed me or left any type of impression ... and overall I was just not satisfied and it didn't satisfy my pizza craving. The Tuscan Garlic appealed of course because of the garlic and sundried tomatoes. EhhhHhH the biggest flavor you get IS the sundried tomatoes, but it seemed like too much and was overpowering? I ordered delivery around 6:05 and the estimated delivery time was 6:50. Around 7:15, I had to call to ask when the food would be delivered. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but when I called, they knew my order without needing to provide any information so not sure if additional delivery orders were the delay. It was delivered around 7:23, 30 minutes past the eta and an hour and 18 minutes past order time. By the time the food arrived, everything was lukewarm, making the cheese a bit stale. We usually opt for MM pizza rather than other food sources for its rapid delivery time, but this was excessive and we've never experienced cold pizza from MM before. read more

I went to pay cash and he asked me if I had changed, I didn't have change, well they open the register and the register was completely empty... What a dump. Signs outside indicate lunch buffet from 11am to 2pm. I come in at noon. There are no pizzas on the buffet and the heating table had not even been turned on. I asked if the buffet was still open and she said yes. The salad bar was very sparce and variety was limited. The spinach was wilted and no bleu cheese dressing, etc. The bathroom toilet was leaking and there was water all over the floor. The bathroom was disgusting and had an awful order. Inside tables had pizza boxes all over them for take out and there were only 3 usable tables for guests to sit at. This caused a man and his two boys to share my table as I was alone. Boxes were stacked in front of one of the restrooms blocking the door. The sodas were very flat with no syrup and I poured out 5 different sodas. I drank water instead even though I paid for soda. There was water on the floor at the soda machine and in front of the salad bar. I waited 20 minutes to get my buffet pizza and all she brought out was a small half combo half pepperoni. She later asked me how I was. I asked her if she could do a Hawaiian pizza. She said I would have to eat all of the first pizza before she would make another pizza. I asked her since that was the case why didnt she ask me initially when I ordered what kind of pizza I wanted. She reluctantly made me a personal Hawaiian. From the outside the small retail center looks nice. There is a major State building right across the street. However, the immediate surrounding area is littered with broken down RVs, homeless, and garbage. Im guessing take out is their bread and butter. This place is an absolute disappointment. It is very clear that this business is thinning product just to increase revenue. I will never go back and I hope you take this review in to consideration. I regularly place large orders with Mountain Mike's in Berkeley for my employees and I've always had a wonderful experience, great customer service, and the team loves their food. I decided to order from this location for my family tonight because we live nearby and I didn't want to drive to the places we normally order from. Terrible mistake. I ordered online and received a receipt which included tax, but I wasn't prompted to pay until I arrived. I was also given a "Promise Time". I arrived 10 mins after that promise time and was told my pizza was still in the oven and would be ready in 2 mins. No problem, I paid for the pizza, but when I looked at my receipt, I was charged $3 more than my online receipt. I showed the cashier both, and he asked someone in the back, came back and said sorry, nothing he can do because they charged me the right price. I showed him the email confirmation again and he just shrugged. Ok... I know it's just $3, but that's not how it should have been handled. I ended up waiting another 20 mins, 30 minutes past my "promise time" before the pizza was ready. So I paid more than I was supposed to, waited longer than I was promised, and not even an apology. While I was waiting, I observed how dirty this place was, and their food practices seemed questionable. Will definitely not be returning. read more

I don't live any further than a 6-7 min drive from this Mountain Mikes and order delivery all the time because I don't have a car. They're usually always on point and I never had any issues until today. I ordered a personal pep pizza a drink and cinnamon churros. The churros came without cinnamon on them and we're just fried bread sticks. So I called the store and told them and the team mate on the phone checked in with who he said was the manager of the store and the same guy that does the deliveries. They told me that there was probably a kitchen issue. (Which is obvious but still fine.) BUT then told me he wasn't sure what I wanted them to do about it. Like wait what? So I asked him if they could redeliver the churros. He put me on hold to ask the manager and then told me "Sorry no we can't do that." Okay.. I told him well I paid with cash and I'm sitting here with fried bread lol but you can't redeliver? This is ridiculous, you guys have to do something. There was an awkward pause as he wasn't saying anything lol. Then finally he told me he could offer me a discount on my next purchase. I just took it because I had pay cash and how else was I going to get a refund? If the manager wasn't willing to drive 6 mins for my churros, the manager wasn't gonna drive back to give me my money either. The Family that runs this Place is Shockingly inappropriate, Very Rude and they are not kind to people. We ordered 2 large Pizza's & 2 garlic breads. We went to pick up order that costed almost $80.00. We politely asked if we can have some Ranch dipping Sauce as the kids always enjoy their slices and Sticks with Ranch. I feel that's pretty common with kids asking for ranch dipping sauce. The cashier told me I had to pay for ranch, which is fine however dosn't 2 orders of Garlic sticks warrant at least 1 sauce each order? I'm pretty sure that's the industry standard . So After the young cashier went to the back to speak with a manger about providing 2 small ranch dipping sauces, she came back with attitude and through 2 sauces on the counter without saying anything... Almost like she was mad that she had to give us 2 sauces.... I told the young lady we have lots of kids and they would like more Ranch. she very rudely says " you have to buy the Ranch Sauce " okay however we just spent $80.00 here, the right thing to do is at least give us a handful of those small ranch containers....
